Most Helpful Positive Review I was sure pleasantly surprised. Okay, at first I was a little skeptical before I tried the Parissa Wax Strips. I have tried at home waxing kits before and have been disappointed. I didn't expect to feel much different with the Parissa strips. I was sure pleasantly surprised. I used these to wax my upper lip hairs and they did as good of a job as I could have had done at a salon. I kid you not. I am not saying this because I got these free, I am saying this because they worked. I did have to wax the right side twice because I did not get as good of a job the first time around, but the second time worked like a charm. The package comes with 16 wax strips, but they are face to face with each other, meaning you have to separate each strip into two separate strips. First, you warm the strip in your hand by rubbing it between your palms. Then you smooth the wax strip onto your skin in the direction of the hair growth. Next, you zip the strip off of your skin quickly as a slow pull will not only be very painful, it will not be effective. Finally, there is a vial of a blue oil that is very light and silky that you use to remove any excess remaining wax. Here are my pros and cons of the wax strips. First the cons because I like to end my reviews on a positive note... First, the box is much bigger than necessary for the product. I'm sure they need the larger box so it doesn't get lost on the shelves, but you may be in for a let down once you see the size of the strips. Each strip is the size of a bandaid. Parissa makes up for this let down by filling the box with a paper foldout of directions. Next, the directions say that the strips may be used more than once. I did not have too much luck with this. This is fine as I had two strips to use. There is no way to store the other half of your strip unless you use the used one to put back on top of the unused one. This is not very hygienic. I did try reusing the first strip, but it didn't work very well. That is why I ended up waxing a second time as men...
Most Helpful Critical Review I expected more? I used these strips for my eyebrows so I had to cut them in half to make them smaller. The strips worked semi-okay but I still had to use my tweezers afterward. The strips also left behind a lot of residue & the oil did NOT take off the excess wax.
All in all, these wax strips might work better for larger areas of the face that don't require you to cut them. I feel like cutting them made it a harder experience than it had to be. I do like the oil though! It smells good.

Do Not Use! 1
Worst wax from Redlands
I used this for the first. Followed the exact instructions and I ended up going to the hospital because I broke out so bad my face swelled. This is the worst product I've ever used. It had taken two weeks before my skin began to heal!🤨🤨🤨
I would not re-buy 2

Might work well for fine hair- def didn't work on my random, coarse chin hairs Will be returning.
Easy to use, works well 4
Oregano from Woodland, CA
Not as great as a hot wax but definitely takes of the hair. Needed to go over a few places again on the corner of my mouth is my only criticism.
Works Great and Gentle 5

I'd previously been using Nads strips which not only did a poor job of removing hair but also always left a horrible rash for days. These went on easy, removed all the hair, and were SO much gentler on my sensitive skin. 10/10 definitely recommend.
I will repeat buy this product. 5

There is not much you can say about wax strips but these are really good at catching the hairs on my upper lip..
Not recommended for thick/coarse hair 3

I tried to use this product on my chin hair, which is coarse- only some of it came off. Not really recommended for this.

Ive been using nair for years but never knew which time I was gonna get chemical burn. Decided to give this a try and at first it didn't go too well. Tried it again the next day and I started getting the hang of it. Now I absolutely love it. The results are so clean and perfect. Sticking with this product!

I usually don't leave reviews. I've been waxing the peach fuzz on my upper lip for 20 years. have gone to salons, have tried the sally brand. I was pretty good with the Nair brand but they were out of stock so tried these for something new.
it didn't miss a single hair. I usually have to tweeze a few after. nope. not with this. it's also less painful that other strips. painful like a salon not painful like I did it myself. the bottle of oil they send with for wax removal for left behind is way more than you'll ever need and it smells nice. a little minty.
definitely give this brand a try.

Having experienced Parissa wax, I will never spend money on salons ever again! I can do it at home, at my time and save money!

Seriously, I am so impressed with these wax strips. I have never had luck with wax strips so I stuck to plucking, but these are now a must have!
As good as the salon for less $ at home 5

I am very impressed with the face and lip wax strips. I was sceptical because I have never used a cream wax before or pre-prepared strips. However my lip wax with the Parissa strips is as good as having it done at a salon in a fraction of the time & cost.
mostly good 4

This definitely worked well for me. I did have a bit of a rash the day after, but it mostly cleared up after a few days.
Works Suprsingly Well 4
Maddy from San Jose, CA
I was hoping to use this on my chin and neck area because I get pretty thick hairs there and results last longer with waxing more than shaving. These strips hardly got those hairs out. However, I also used them to clean up my eyebrows, lip, and sideburn area and the strips work great! They are so easy to use and didn't cause me any issues when peeling off and I would say I have pretty sensitive skin.
Good at home waxing kit 5
Mustache girl from Ann Arbor Michigan
After searching for a home waxing kit I finally decided on this. It was super easy to use and took off most of the hair. It missed a few but I think that was my error bc I've never done it before. Didn't even hurt more than regular waxing.

Use on chin great for chin wax
Stubborn & sensitive 4
PickiVicki from Nebraska
I have sensitive skin with an allergy to fragrance but also have very stubborn hair on my upper lip. This product worked better than I had anticipated. The strips are straight which makes it difficult to cover your entire upper lip but what it does cover gets pulled out. No redness or rash after using. They include a cleaning oil to remove residue. That's a nice touch. Previously the only product that worked for my was Olay. That is no longer being produced so I have been on the hunt for a while now. Happy to have found this product.
My favorite 5

super quick easy and not too painful. was a little red after but not painful the oil that came with it really helped. i love these.

Worked so good for my upper lip! Super easy and quick too! Pain wasn't bad either. Far exceeded my expectations and worked way better then any other products I've tried! Never going to a salon again even when they open back up

I've never waxed on my own but I got tired of driving all the way out to a salon for my lip so I gave this a try. It's so easy to use and really grabs all the hairs. The oil this comes with is great for soothing and cleaning the excess wax off the face. Highly recommend and will definitely keep buying these.
The BEST I've used! 5
