I used to LOVE essence lip gloss and other cosmetics . I used their lip gloss daily and preferred it over some of the higher prestigious brand of lipgloss's until they change the formula and discontinued a lot of the colors . It is good that they added more colors but they should have added rather ...than discontinuing some of the brand favorites . I feel that the new colors are very sheer and not as opaque as the previous ones sold in the past. Although I do not like real sticky lipgloss I do like for it to stick and to Stay on . Therefore some stickiness/tackiness is needed and preferred because then it does stay on and last . This new formula is not lasting and the colors are too light /sheer . I bought one in every color and will be returning them all :( I am glad that I bought an abundance of lip glosses from the shine shine shine series , before they discontinued it . I hope I have enough until they improve and or change or possibly just revert back to the older shine shine shine series and add some more opaque colors preferably bring back the older ones and maybe add more . This sheer color and formula change is not an improvement at all ! I have one star because I had too leave something ! Seriously essence WHY change something that is working? I read the comments in the shine shine shine series regularly for most part they were good and positive . No business of any kind is going to make everyone happy . Covid contributed alot to why sales have been down for a lot of businesses especially cosmetics not formula and or colors of products . That need to consider before making such huge changes as changing formula and discontinuing customer favorite colors :(
