I have super thick, wavy, coarse hair about 2 inches past my shoulder. I always ask stylists to thin me out but it's never enough and when I ask them to do more, they are hesitant to do so. I no longer have them do it at ll, rather I go home after my regular cuts and do the thinning myself with these shears. They do the job incredibly well. I was leery about buying a pair of shears that didnt cost at least $100 because everyone told me that would be the minimum investment for a quality pair. These work so well on my hair and my hair is finally the way I like.
I love the functionality, spacing and ergonomics of these shears, but they don't offer a clean, smooth cut and they pull on the hair as if it is catching. My daughter, who also tried them, noticed the same issue. In the end my hair looks thinner, but the cuticle appears damaged and it was a painful process. I wish thinning shears weren't so difficult to find.

This thinner does a great job. It is very comfortable and very sturdy. The thinner is smooth when cutting. It works extremely well on dry and wet hair. It is not too heavy or too light. The blades are super sharp. I'm definitely impressed by the quality and price. This Fromm thinner is just as good as the other professional brands. I am definitely sold.

These thinning shears are great! Very comfortable finger grips! Using mostly to remove bulk and thin and soften layers. Definitely recommend this brand!

I got this scissor because I live the brand, but I realized that this is longer than the last one, but the quality is great!!! I just have to get used to it.

Well made and good quality. Used this to thin out the bottom of my daughter's voluminous hair and make the cut look less blunted. It worked. I'd say this tool isn't 100% necessary but looks like I'm going to be cutting my family's hair for a while, so I wanted better tools. This is worth the money.

The product itself is great, sharp and gets the job done. I believe it was my own user error that caused my bangs to make me look like I had a mullet tho lol I usually have very thick hair and I ended up over thinning my bangs. Just one too many snips. My tip is to go very easy on the thinning. Start at the bottom layer first and try not to overdo it. Overall the shears are great quality and get the job done

I have been doing haircuts for my husband and two grown kids during the pandemic. My scissors were an old pair I bought years ago. I checked Ulta and was pleased to find the shears and thinning scissors. Used both pairs yesterday and everyone was pleased with their new looks :) I had never used thinning shears, but watched a couple of you tube videos and got the hang of it pretty fast. I would highly recommend these.

These worked great for thinning out my sons very thick and wavy hair. I normally wouldn't even try to cut his hair, but he was getting so hot and uncomfortable and these made a huge difference. They're heavy and feel like quality shears.

As a non expert, first time, self-trimmer, these thinners performed as expected. They cut through the first time, feel reliable, durable, & are weighted well. I don't foresee the need to ever purchase another set of personal thinners unless these fall apart or stop performing the way they currently do.

We're all having to learn how to cut our own hair... These are affordable thinning shears that are fool proof even for beginners like me. They remove weight but also don't take off too much hair for a natural blended look.
