These Are Great I use these for excess oil with witch hazel. And after makeup removal if I've sweated any while having my makeup on. I use only the TN Dickensons brand, its what i prefer. Others inevitably irritate me it seems. These pads are not to be under valued if u have oily skin. I have both. Sometimes I'm dry but when I'm oily it's bad. Never underestimate the power of witch hazel. If you've been doing lawn work or road dust is on you. Or just for help removing makeup residue. Also if you've been active it will close your pores. It removes sebum, the name for the oils your pores make so that nothing else is also sticking to your face. Like germs, molds, makeup residues, dirt etc.
NOT a good option for facial use! I originally bought these to use with my cleanser and toner, however, these cotton pads are overly rough on the exfoliating side, more than my face could handle at all. It was less exfoliating and more scratching. And the "soft" side is also not very delicate either on the skin. Overall the cotton pads are just very stiff from how they get pressed into shape. The second issue I came across was that they shed so much when using them so even if you don't find them too rough for your skin, you will likely end up with cotton fibers all over your face that you have to rub off like cat hair LOL! So I have officially moved these over to my nail polish drawer to use for nail polish removal only - I'm sure the roughness be great for that! :) So not a total loss, I just would not recommend these for use on the face if you have sensitive or delicate skin!

When I purchase these I did not realize they were exfoliating on one side. Either way, the exfoliating side is insanely rough. I would not put that on my face ever.

These are really good to use I use them all the time for my makeup use I keep them in a container on my dresser and it's organized and I just get one out of it and I use it I also use them to take my makeup off.

these are horrrrrible for make up & nail polish removers. they start to fall a part/disentragte. ulta brand products are trash so idk why I thought these would be different.

Love these. My skin is very sensitive and the exfoliating side is gentle enough not to irritate my skin, but still effective for a light exfoliation. I like using the cotton pads with my toner.
