Not the results I expectedI was really excited to try the even tone post tonic cleanse by meléskincare as this would be the first skincare product I used that was specifically for darker skin. The product promised to even out my skin care however I was very surprised that instead of evening the complexion of my skin it evened out the texture instead. This tonic did not help decrease the visibility of my melasma or acne scars. However it did lesson the bumpiness on my face especially around my forehead.OkayI like that this toner is lightly scented and the smell disappears after applying it. A little goes a long way because if you apply much you have a sticky feeling which is not too pleasant. It helps to cleanse my skin further after washing my face. I like there is no claim of seeing results after xyz number of weeks. I have consistently applied this for over 2 weeks just to give a honest thought about it. It has taken months to years when acne scaring occurs so I think it will take time for this to be effective. The package looks beautiful however it is not sturdy as I mistakenly dropped it on the floor and I lost up to half of the bottle. Overall, i thinks it okay.

I would buy this product again.

Ok, so I'm tired of manipulated reviews on certain websites, that's why I don't even bother. But, since I have an olive complexion and I'm Hispanic, I read that this was designed for darker skin tones, and since the product has lactic acid which is a nice exfoliant I decided to give it a chance... OK, first I'm not really acne prone. My skin has been more towards the dry spectrum than the oily. But then in my 30s it became kind of combination skin, like in my jaw and certain parts of my cheeks it became a bit more oily. But now in my 40s I've developed hormonal acne and my skin became dull and weird. So finding out what works us tedious and I've try many things. One thing I tried was a glycolic peel and although it was a low concentration it made me plurge but in a bad way because it kind of burned me. But the problem is that I do need something that brings the acne underneath to the surface to really clear my skin. So I decided to give the Mele toner a chance... this is what happened: I purged!!! But within a week the pimples got to a head, it was simple to pop and the pimple disappeared. Why? Because it soflty peeled my skin!!! At first I almost abandoned it but I'm glad I didn't. In case you're wondering this is my final routine after lots of trials and error: Day routine: Expose cleanser or Corsx cleanser. Expose toner BEAUTY PIE Niacidamine 10% Hyper Vitamin C Azelaic acid 15% Face cream with ceramides and sun protection ( elta or La Rosche Poseay) Night time routine: Expose cleanser or Corsx Mele toner Good Molecules tranexamic discoloration La roche posay double repair cream Once a week: I use ALGENIST blue algae peel Other week I use verse lactic and glycolic acid overnight peel Twice a week I use tretinoin 0.5 after night routine Day routine:

I've had this toner for a while and have bought more since. I just love how it makes my skin feel after doing my night time skin routine or just by giving my face a nice little spritz on a hot summer day.

This Meleskincare even tone post tonic works wonders. I am African American women and a lot of cleansers don't work well with my skin because I am a bit darker and I need something that was gonna Brighten my skin up And I found this I must say I am very happy this stuff is very easy to apply it smells good in it actually makes my skin glow it brings out my complexion I am so in love with it last all day
