I have super fine, stick straight, easily tangled, easily static, limp hair. i never found a round brush I could use before this one. I struggle with blow out technique and this makes it quick and easy. I think it's crazy they market this to coarse hair because it's perfect for just the opposite. Most round brushes easily tangle and snag my hair or won't grip it at all. This rarely tangles never snags and has tight grip so I can actually get some tension and bend. I was never able to get bent or fluffy bangs before this brush. It doesn't scrape my scalp the way other round brushes usually do. Builds volume, separates strands, and gives long holding bend that lasts for 2 days even without product which is unheard of on my hair. In a pinch I can even use it to brush tangles out of my wet hair even though i still prefer a wet paddle for that. The only thing I don't like is that when I use it dry it can leave a little static but certainly not the worst out there. Works best with an ionic dryer. Last forever, I've had it for a year and it's still brand new. Easy to clean with a rat tail or pencil. Oh and I never comment unless I love it or hate it lol
Crying as I write this. Used it for the first time and my hair got into such a big knot it took 4 hours to get out. Gave me a full blown anxiety attack. The boat bristles just matt hair to the brush and making a giant wad of a knot. Scariest beauty product iv ever encountered. Lost giant clumps of my beautiful hair. For context I am 27 and have been blow drying my hair for over 10 years. The only thing that works to remove this piece of trash from my head was pliers. We had to remove each bristle one by one. Do NOT BUY OR GIFT!!!!

Thought this was going to be great, but it's too grippy and gets stuck. I have fine hair, that isn't difficult to work with, but this brush is not it. Can barely turn it through the hair.

This brush was recommended to me by my hairstylist & I immediately bought it & use it all the time. I was drying my hair and I had paint chips on my hands and the floor & I have never seen this happen to any of my other brushes & was really shocked. The brush itself is great because I have color treated hair and with the boar bristles it is less damaging. The paint is coming off the entire handle & yeah I can still use it but every time I do I have to sweep/ vacuum afterwards. This brush was pricey and I've had my other " different brand " brushes for years & they have not done this. I'm going to see if Ulta or the company will replace.

Great brush, grabs hair easily with out pulling. I need to but another one because my daughter keeps stealing it.

Having thicker, easily (almost always) knotted hair causes a struggle to a point where I HAVE to use a brush with those little extra bristles, and this brush has exactly that! All brushes pull at my hair but this one does a great job combing through my hair without much of a struggle or terrible hassle and is really great overall. Personally, my hair is impossible to brush when wet (I always wait till damp or dry) so I can't comment on that portion of use with this product.

Although it's a lot of work to blow-out my long, thick, coarse, curly hair, this is the best round brush I've found up for the job. I've learned that, at least with my hair type, if you want your hair to look like it took 2+ hours to style, you need to spend 2+ hours styling it and this brush helps accomplish that look. When I wear my hair straight, I always smooth it out with a round brush/hair dryer to make flat ironing easier (as to use minimum direct heat.) I recently was looking for the biggest round brush I could find because my hair is really long now and came across this one. The natural bristles were a plus because they make my hair so smooth, as they help distribute natural oils from root all the way to tip. Up until this brush, I would never be able to wear my hair down from a blow out alone. It would be so big, I'd look like a lion. Although it's still very voluminous with this brush, it's so smooth that I feel comfortable doing errands with my hair down before flat ironing. I highly suggest this brush to anyone with a similar hair type!

Did not work for me. I just returned it to store. Tangled my fine, thin hair something terrible.

Worst brush that I've ever used in my life. First time using it, was VERY rough on my hair and legitimately sucked up my hair and was unable to release my hair from around the brush. This has never happened in 30 years of styling my hair and it did it on the first try. I want to cry as I believe I will have to cut my hair off to release it from this brush.

i use it on wet hair. Of course always brush it out before you start because it WILL pull on your hair. It makes my hair look so soft (:

Whether you use it to dry your hair or just simply brushing your hair- it is worth the money.

I have fine hair that breaks easily. This brush is gentle, yet still creates a good hold for styling.

I have fine and thin blonde hair and do everything in my power to get volume. This brush really pulled my hair when blow drying and after I finished blow drying the brush had a handful of hair tangled in the bristles. I returned the brush because of how much hair came out and it was incredibly frustrating to use. It has the same kind of bristles as my old brush but the bristles on the Epic Pro were longer (IMO the bristle length was the reason for the excessive pulling).

I'm still learning how use a round brush. But this brush is wonderful. Helps my hair dry faster and it doesn't pull or cause snarls. Helps a lot with volume for my fine hair.

I use this brush after a shower while my hair is wet. My hair is very thick and gets tangled quickly, so this brush helps keeping it smooth. Also I live in FL where it is very humid and so my hair gets frizzy, I can use this brush once my hair is dry as well to get rid of the frizz and calm my hair to put up in a quick pony tail when I'm on the go!
