Frizz Free!I tried this product on my hair which can be a little hard to tame and has a mind of its own. The first time I tried it on my dry hair-towards the ends of my hair and I didn't feel like it improved my hair for that day. The next day I used it in my hair prior to washing my hair in the shower to give it some nourishment before shampooing. (I think my shampo mostly washed it all out though because I didn't see a big difference that day either). But! On the third day I washed my hair as usual and applied the Elvive to my wet hair after my shower, and then blew dry my hair. LOVE! I have definitely found what works best for my hair with this product-I brush my hair while it's still wet/damp, put two squirts of the Elvive in the palm of my hand, rub my hands together and apply it to my hair (working bottom to top), and rubbing my hair in between my palms for better more even coverage. Then I blow dry/style as usual. It smells so good and has made my hair super shiny and FRIZZ FREE (which is a big deal here in Washington State in the winter time!) I've always had a static cling kind of hair during the winters here and have tried other products who boast about removing the frizzies, but they were unable to deliver-so admittedly I was naturally skeptical before I used it, and am so glad I gave it a shot! I'm very happy with my results I love my shiny, soft, frizz free, and good scented hair from using Elvive-I absolutely recommend trying this product! And like me, try it a couple different ways before you make your call, if I would've stopped after my first or second day I wouldn't have found what works best for my hair-so play around with it until You get your desired results! It's awesome! Thank you L'Oréal and Influenster for my complimentary products -No this is NOT a better productIf I could leave a no star rating for this that would be perfect. I'm so upset that your company would use this as a replacement for ALL of your other leave in hair oil serum products. Everything from the smell to the consistency is horrible. I would think that you would keep, at minimum 1 or 2 alternatives for those of us who have allergies & complicated hair types. Thank you for having stupidly expensive products with little results. I became a L'Oreal customer monthly for shampoo and conditioner after finding your "Extraordinary Oil Lustrous Oil Serum" I live on a very tight budget and made it last over a year it was so wonderful. It didn't leave a oily or greasy feeling and didn't make or keep my hair to dry. Why completely discontinue products with no real alternative that would be comparable?

This is by FAR the only hair oil that works on my way without leaving my hair greasy. Its makes my hair so soft and shiny and i love puttint it on my ends after i get out of the shower. I wake up the next day with beautiful and smooth hair!

loveeee this hair oil so much! its light, smells great, and rlly helps make my hair shiny and so so soft. i have thick, straight hair thats a little course at the ends and this fixes everything! this is one of the only places i can find this hair oil but i recommend it to everyone for an affordable and quality oil that will make your hair soooo shiny and soft!

I used to use this oil when it was in a glass bottle and smelled amazing. This is not the same product. Completely different ingredients, cheap plastic bottle, and it smells HORRIBLE (bitter & medicinal). Ingredients listed on ulta are from the old formula

I read somewhere this was a dupe for a kerstase product. I am very pleased with this product. It's not greasy. Can be reapplied thought the day (I live in humid Houston). It managed my little tangles I get at the nape of my neck. I also use the shampoo and conditioner in this line (purchased elsewhere.) I'm only disappointed in that this Loreal line actually have a bigger variety and formulas (found in Canada in abundance) . This oil also has varied formulas for color, or other hair types but Loreal hair care products are more limited in the US. I wish Ulta carried more of this Loreal line.
