I recently bought the Wella Enrich Moisturizing Treatment which left my hair so soft. At 54, my hair has become so dry, brittle, frizzy, and unruly that its depressing. The Wella Enrich Treatment helped so much that I decided to give the Elements Renew Shampoo a try because the reviews on Wella site were so good. Plus I wanted to find something sulfate free and it lathers well which I was surprised! This shampoo calmed some itchy scalp (I have no dandruff), gave me shine, calmed frizziness and unruliness of hair. I still had significant hair loss, but going to doctor in October for full blood work. I have totally stopped blowing drying my hair except for my bangs after I let them hair air dry on a velcro roller. I usually have to wash my hair every two days. It's the third day today and that funky hair smell when you don't wash your hair is almost no existant. My temples are usually greasy and they are not. I can comb my hair and there is no frizziness and actually lays flat like it used to. People will probably read this and not understand, but unless you are either going thru menopause or past menopuase, you will not understand because your hair changes drastically! I used to have straight hair and it changed to very curly and frizzy at crown and underneath is straight as a rail. Air drying has left me looking like Roseanne Roseannadanna ( I am 54)....look up who this character was on SNL. I was shocked when I went to the restroom at work, looked in mirror, and my hair was not a frizzy, dried up mess like it is every morning. My jaw dropped open! By the time I get to work, my hair is almost dry, and a poofy, frizzy mess. But this time, my hair was calm and I was able to comb it and NO frizz! I am so impressed with this shampoo! I also used a Tea Tree Treatment product by PM on the crown and used the Wella Enrich Treatment on the second half of hair. I so hope this continues to work and will work for you!
It's a shampoo without sulphate. It doesnt strip moisture. It can be used without conditioner. But regular use will make your hair look flat due to the coating it creates. Its greasy and acne prone. The next day of your hair wash will make your hair greasy. It breaks out my forehead. I used it for 2 months and on the 3rd month onwards I started getting contact allergy to some ingredient in the shampoo probably 'cocamidopropyl betaine'. Everytime I use this shampoo i get rashes around my nape, neck and scalp. Scared of using it again.

I love the other wella shampo and conditioner so I decided to try this one. My hair would be so greasy after. Worse then when I went in the shower. Not sure if the product wouldn't wash out or wasn't washing my hair. I thought at first it was maybe me so I would take 10 minutes to wash this shampoo out of my hair, making sure I was scrubbing etc. my hair still came out greasy as gross. Threw away. Do not buy.

I've tried several shampoos looking for a sulfate free shampoo that I would like, but even the ones listed as hydrating were too dry and left my hair a tangled mess. This Wella Sulfate-Free shampoo is perfect. It cleans well, does not leave my hair dry or very tangled and it smells nice. Just a hint of fragrance, but not enough to really notice which is nice. I've finally found the perfect shampoo. I've been using this for about 3 months and will continue.

I have been using this shampoo and the matching conditioner for a few years. I am 47 years old and it took me my entire adult life and a lot of money (wasted) to finally find a shampoo and conditioner that actually works for my hair. I have very fine hair, but a lot of hair. My hair is kinky, frizzy, curly, but straight on top. This is the only product that tames all of that. Not to mention that your hair smells fresh well after 24 hours of washing it. PLEASE don't ever get rid of this.

Not good conditioning mask, and is one of the few products I have seen that still contains parabens, which are very bad for health. I will use the rest but only on my hair, not my scalp.
For reference, I am using on dry, bleach-damaged hair with some breakage.

I have been using this shampoo off and on for 3 years. I had a bad bad reaction to purology strength cure shampoo and this one helped get my scalp and hair back to normal. It smells like a very faint grapefruit and leave your hair soft and clean without drying out your scalp. love it and even use it now every other wash just to keep my scalp balanced.

The product smells fruity which I liked. I have fine naturally straight hair and use dry shampoo pretty often. I washed my hair with the shampoo and I felt like my hair was still dirty. I washed it again thinking maybe my dry shampoo just didn't rinse out the first time but when I blow dried my hair my scalp felt like it had left over product on it. It also made my hair kind of dry. I feel like this is good for people who wash their hair every day.

I dyed my hair purple for a bit and then wanted to go back to blonde. After stripping the purple out and bleaching out the remaining coppery shades, my ends needed love like they never had before. This mask saved me. It feels so good and helped after the first time.

Love the light grapefruit/citrus smell. It's my go to for getting the cleanest wash. I usually wash my hair 1-2 times a week. I use dry shampoo in between. It clears out build up and gives you a real 'just been washed' feeing every time.

I am giving this product 2 stars because it does smell nice and I am sure would work for some people. I am terribly prone to product buildup, and very few shampoos leave my hair looking clean after the first few washes. I recently bleached most of my hair, and this is what my stylist told me to start using. Like i said, it was fine for the first few washes, but now I am looking for something to get the layer of gunk off of my roots.

This is a fantastic product. I have fine/ frizzy hair and this really helps to smooth the cuticle without weighing my hair down. For those that are saying their hair feels greasy or dirty- I figured out the trick! At first, I was having the same problem however because this is sulfate free- a second wash is highly recommended. The first wash breaks down the oil, and a second wash really leaves is clean, light and smooth. If you are having problems with your hair feeling weighed down, try a second wash! Instead of using a whole bunch of shampoo on 1 wash, split the product into 2 washes. You will love the results- it's magical!

I read a lot of reviews about this and I'm surprised. There's a lot of people sayin it leaves their hair greasy and in my opinion, they must not be washing properly. This shampoo lathers rich, smells sweet and is so gentle on my bleached hair. After a highlight I use this for a week to let my hair recover. I wash every day and my hair feels clean and smells good and is soft and healthy. I truly don't understand how anyone's hair could still be greasy after using this.

I am so upset at this shampoo and conditioner. I thought it was color safe but it totally stripped my color after one wash!!! I spent alot of money for my color. Sticking with Wella Brilliance.

I have tried many hair mask and this one is the most effective hair mask that has helped recover my bleached blonde hair. After using it my hair felt soft and looked hydrated. It is unfortunate that they only sell the 5.07 oz one because it is not enough for thick or long hair. A tip I would give with this hair mask is to thoroughly rinse hair mask out in order to prevent any residue.

My hair is very dry due to bleaching and over processing. Since I started using this shampoo I have seen a total 180 in my hair and it has even grown 12 inches in the year I've used it. I do have to wash my hair a little more often due to the super moisturizing properties, but it is so worth it with the difference I see in my hair.

I've used this over a year now, I believe it's helped my hair grow. I love the smell, and lightweight feel it gives my hair!
Dani from Holtsville, NY
This shampoo smells amazing and lathers really well for a sulfate free shampoo BUT my hair would feel/look right greasy after washing. I can usually go up to 3 days without washing and getting oily but I would last a day or two at best with this stuff. It just didn't feel like it washed my hair thoroughly!

I like the way it makes my hair feel after it's adjusted, but I hate the smell

my hair doesn't feel stripped

I'm giving this product because it is amazing. My hair is falling out less and it is so much smoother. I believe this product is organic so there is no artifical smell. The smell is not that strong, it is almost odorless. I'm not use to a shampoo that isnt strong in smell, so this took a while to get use to. But i will definitely stick to ir because my hair is showing improvement.

I love wella products, but the price went up that's the reason why I gave it 2 stars.

I'm generally good with any hair shampoo I've tried from Matrix, Sebastian, and Joico. Decided to give this a try and my hair feels drier than ever! It makes my scalp itch and my roots look oily even after a shower. I don't have oily hair and can get away with not washing or using dry shampoo for 3-4 days before my hair starts to look oily and this shampoo does the complete opposite. It takes a lot of work to lather the product. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

After bleacing my hair for several years I began to notice my hair was dry and difficult to manage when wet. I had to condition my hair first and then shampoo because my hair would tangle and turn into a bird nest when wet. I had immediate improvement to my hair with this line of products.
