Really WorksI usually don't buy pricey cosmetic things but this oil is well worth it. I was worried about getting stretch marks because my mom and sister have them, so I had bought a bottle of this and used it nightly. I hadn't developed any stretch marks. Well, I ran out and thought I'd buy another bottle later if it went on sale. Within a week of not using this oil, I got stretch marks. I immediately bought another bottle and so far haven't gotten any more stretch marks and I'm 8 months pregnant.wouldn't purchase againI bought this when I first noticed my skin getting itchy...which means it's stretching. I like the way it feels, and it goes on smoothly. I'm still very sensitive to smells and get queasy easily, but I really don't like the smell of this stuff. I love, love lavander but not this. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks when Im hopefully feeling better and try it again. Otherwise, I'm returning it.

In my second pregnancy no. I used this throughout my first and put it on in the morning before going to work. I never got that itchy belly feeling and I did not get any stretch marks, which I am very prone too. While I think it soaks in good, it also hydrates your skin longer too.

I used this religiously in my pregnancy, I think I went through 3 bottles. Every other time I went to the bathroom I'd apply some and then at night I would soak my tummy in it. And it worked!!! Highly highly recommend

I was pretty worried about stretch marks, given that they are said to be hereditary and the women in my family have had significant stretch marks, but I used this regularly since the second trimester and nothing! It's also really just a nice routine to spend time admiring my baby bump and rubbing in an oil that helps the itch go away!

Pretty big fan of this! I use it pretty casually... usually once a day before bed OR right after I shower. It absorbs into the skin really well, doesn't leave any greasy residue. Really love the lavender scent, although it is a little on the strong side if you are super sensitive to scents. The lavender scent 100% beats smelling like you just rubbed an old candy bar all over yourself, blech (I'm looking at YOU, cocoa butter!) and was one of the reasons I was drawn to this product in the first place. I only started using it when I first noticed a baby bump and skin started to itch a little, sometime in my 2nd trimester (about to enter my 3rd trimester) and skin looks and feels fantastic so far, with no marks. Ingredients list is really solid. Good, clean stuff. Someone remarked that Gotu Kola is "unsafe for pregnancy" -- um, yeah, if you ingest it! It's fine when used topically, just like a lot of other ingredients during pregnancy. (You can look this up for yourself in case the claim that this brand is OB-GYN recommended isn't enough proof for you.) :) A few cons: The dispenser sometimes makes for a messy application, since it is oil and has a pretty runny consistency coming out of the pump. Not a really big deal though. And it IS pricey, but... really, for a product you'll only use for a few months out of your life at most, I can justify it. Treat yourself, mama. :)
