Most Helpful Positive Review Love it! Does not snag! I have very fine, dirty blonde hair and it has a tendency to be very dry. I get a lot of breakage when I don't trim it regularly, and as a result of being dry, its often very puffy and unkempt. My sister has this brush and I have been using hers since my other brush (not from this brand) fell apart. It smooths and tames by hair and does not tug. The reason I give it four stars is because it can be rough on the scalp, so I would be careful with getting too close and often contact with the scalp.
Most Helpful Critical Review Do not buy! Used this product 3 times as part of my heat styling routine. On the third use, the brush melted and burned off a small section of my hair. On top of this, Ulta told me there's nothing they could do about it and that I'd need to contact the manufacturer. Seriously reconsidering even shopping at Ulta again after this experience.

I was under the impression that this was an anti-static brush. It was not. Returned. The quality was great but not what I needed.

I have incredibly thick hair & have historically had a tough time finding brushes that wouldn't snag or break my hair. Until now, that is. This brush is my favorite ever. It detangles & smooths my hair with zero tugging or breakage. 10/10 from me.

I've been trying to eliminate plastics as much as possible and was looking for an alternative for a new hairbrush. This seems to be a great swap-out since it is made with more natural materials. I like the combination of bristles and it doesn't feel too harsh on my scalp. I think the center pins could be a tad shorter for those with a more sensitive scalp, but it doesn't bother me and I enjoy the feeling. The scalp stimulation seems to better distribute oils and my hair feels/looks healthier. I've noticed less breakage from brushing and it does seem to make my hair appear more voluminous. I wish they also made a travel size in this version!

I have thick, wavy hair and I've never had a brush that could get through it with ease...until now! Not only does this brush detangle my hair but it feels so good on my scalp, like a massage. It's a little hard to explain, but I do know, I don't need to worry about finding a good brush anymore.

I normally don't like the stiff bristle because they're uncomfortable on my scalp, but because this one has the added cushioned tips you get the benefit of both without the discomfort. It's lightweight and the handle is great.

This brush is awesome. Glides smoothly through my hair and helps with frizz. My hair feels soft after using it. I purchased it on a beauty steal. I wish I would have bought 2 of them since my daughter likes it also.

The bamboo handle is lovely and the pale blue color goes well with its off-white color - it's a lovely addition to my vanity. Performance-wise, it detangles my thick, long hair extremely well, wet or dry. I will echo other reviews in saying you can easily inflict some pain if you brush too hard. It is not necessary to brush hard to see results though. I definitely saw a nice shine to my hair after using this brush.

Olivia Garden brushes in general work best on my thick, long, coarse hair (I've been using their round brushes for years). They have a lot of "grip". I know some here have complained that the bristles are too hard on their head/scalp but this is precisely what I need for my hair type.

my daughter has this brush, I used it, let's just say I'm in love with this brush, i will be getting one, i love the way this brush gets down to your scalp, this is the first brush that I have ever used that does that, i love this brush, its the best.

I love this brush! The only problem I have with it, is how rough the bristles of the brush can be against your head. Definitely need to be careful when brushing, but it leaves my hair smooth and soft and shiny!

Really solid brush, the bamboo handle feels really sturdy and high quality, not flimsy or like it might break like some of these plastic brushes. Love the combo; the boar bristles help distribute the oils in my hair.

I have fine straight hair, and I wanted a new brush since my wet brush stopped working as good as it did after a while. I bought this on sale and so far, I love it. I docked it down one point solely because it can hurt your scalp if you're too rough. It detangles and straightens my hair so nicely. I recommend!
