Most Helpful Positive Review ITS SOO AMAZING!! WORTH IT!!
It makes your face look full, plumped, healthy and glowing and it smells amazing. This is the first time I am able to handle a cream with a scent because I'm super sensitive to scented ones but this one is just natural from the ingredients used in it, its not fruity or perfumed just a natural amazing scent! Great for dry and dull skin!! You have to atleast try the free samples or call the main company and they will send you few sample packets!
Most Helpful Critical Review Not Great For Full Sun
I bought this as a Beauty Seal for 50% off. When it was delivered to my house the protective seal was broken, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it and used it anyway. Besides, the protective seal Dermalogica uses on the sunscreen over the dispenser inside the box looks very untrustworty and like it could break on it's own naturally. I can not tell if someone else used it at all, though it is disgusting if Ulta made a mix up and gave a used bottle to me. I wore this for an hour outside in direct sun with it on thickly, no makeup at all, but I still got sunburned. The burn was not mistaken for sensitivity. Should I really be burned after one hour when it is on so thickly? Did I get a super old bottle or something? On another note, it really reeks even up to an hour after application, and I am the type to always love the smell of skin care products. I also could feel a bit of a burn when it was on the first time, though it was not terrible and it didn't burn at all the second time I wore it on a cloudy day. This sunscreen breaks me out a little bit and does not feel light at all to me. I have used plenty of light products to tell the difference. But let us be real, I have personally have never found a light sunscreen, and I think anyone who does should doubt the integrity of the sunscreen. I think buyers of this could easily find better products for cheaper that protect the skin from the sun more effectively than it did for me. In the end, l will still use this on days that are cloudy in order to attempt to get even a penny's worth of what this sunscreen cost me.

I love it and I've used it for several years, but it's so expensive and never on sale!!! Oh please run a sale on it once in awhile!!!

I bought the travel size to try it out and loved it! It's not heavy, moisturizes well and doesn't burn my eyes like a lot of other sunscreens. Also, doesn't leave that pesky white cast. Definitely worth the try if your willing to spend the extra cash.

Love this so much. Keeps my skin hydrated all day in dry Colorado climate.

I'm glad that I was able to try a sample size of this. If this was fragrance free and maybe half the price I would consider getting a full size. It had a pleasant lightweight texture and seemed to rub in clear on my NC20-25 skin. Left me feeling moisturized but not greasy. However the fragrance is quite strong and irritated my eyes to the point where I sometimes needed to wipe it off and apply something else after a few hours. (For this reason, I never actually tried it under makeup.) Ultimately there are many other less expensive SPFs I would purchase before this one.

I was looking for a facial moisturizer that checked all the boxes and this had seemed to be it even though it was pricey. I read the reviews and it seemed to have more positives than negatives and at first I really liked it. I did not return as I have had the product more than 30 days, but over time I feel it has made my face more dry than where I started. I can see the cracks/crevices on my cheeks and forehead and my skin on my forehead actually feels dry to touch and when I move my eyebrows or wrinkle my forehead (if that makes sense). I tried using a little more product thinking maybe I wasn't using enough but when I use more my face feels too greasy then, as if the product isn't absorbing well. I've tried everything I can think to make this work for me but I've given up, I just have come to the realization that other the 50 SPF, the product sucks. The smell is not great either, which I could get passed if it worked, but since it doesn't, I'm adding that in as a negative as well.
Nice and dewy looking
Nina35 from Canton, MI.
Unfortunately the spf 50 in this was to high for me, which caused my skin to sunburn even more, which created discoloration. But it looked and felt amazing on, my skin would look dewy, and it locked moisture in.
hate that I love it

I'll be blunt - I can't afford this. $75 for 1.7 ounces? insane. That being said, this is my favorite sunscreen I've ever used. I'm sensitive, dry, and acne-prone, and my skin LOVES this stuff. definitely a splurge, I have yet to find another sunscreen that comes close to how much my skin loves this. anything to keep skin cancer and pimples away, right?
Hana from AR
Beautiful texture, and doesn't pile after you apply makeup. Looks super hydrating for skin and keep skin super moisturized .

this is the BEST moisturizer you will ever use. and it also sits amazingly under makeup.
I have purchased this product again and again.
Briya from Phoenix, Arizona
I love the way it smells and the way it goes on. It doesn't make me oily and it sits nicely on my skin under my make up. A little pricey but hey, it's SPF 50!
Good size for traveling

I love this face cream! It works wonders on my dry skin. I use it every morning and it just soaks into my skin and makes it so soft.
I splurge on this good sunblock

I use this under makeup and under IT primer. It has protected my skin from brown patches which I am prone too.

I bought this during a sale to go under makeup but I had hoped that it would work well on its own also. Within the first day of using it, my skin broke out. I tried it again, broke out again. I do not tend to have sensitive skin in general so I was surprised to have such a bad reaction. Besides the breakouts, I find it to be thick in consistency and produce a visible "sunscreen" look. I have naturally oily skin and this just made it look like I needed to wash my face. So two strikes, this product is out. Super sad because it is pricey for the poor results.

I love this and will co to ie to use it. It's pricey but worth it. Makes my skin feel so smooth and the moisture lasts all day! It also seems to help my makeup stay on longer, even with mask wear.
This is the best sunscreen I've ever used.
Sarah V from Florida
This perfectly hydrates my dry skin. It's the perfect level of SPF for me and sits so well under my makeup or alone. My only complaint is how little of product you get for the astronomical price
Slee129 from Virginia
I regret spending this much money. I hate the smell, I think it's the white tea tree (?) smells like a earthy crunchy spa and not in a good way, and the smell doesn't go away. I've never had this problem. But more importantly, it burns!! I wondered if it even protected me bc the first time I used it (and times after) after I washed my face my skin burned/felt hot and turned bright red! I literally cannot continue to use this and I spent so much money on it.
I want to buy this but...

I want to get this. I'm skeptical I have oily skin.
Stacy from Rochester, NY
This face lotion is amazing! Great for under makeup & love the SPF, highly recommend. It's pretty expensive but Dermatologica is worth it. My skin is so dry & this is the only thing that helps me in the mornings.
Not Worth It
Normal, Non- Reactive Skin from Boston, MA
I received a sample of this product (gift with purchase) and so glad I didn't spend any money on it. The smell is off putting (a weird mix of their oils, resulting in a chemical menthol type smell for me). After putting it on, I felt my skin burning (strong, unpleasant tingling sensation) that has never happened to me before. I immediately had to wash this off because it was that unpleasant.
Formulation wise, I do find it moisturizing, so you don't need to use a lot. However, this would be a con if you want to use this product in place of a separate moisturizer and sunscreen as you won't be using enough of it to actually benefit from the sunscreen.
Smell is almost unbearable
Shannon from California
The product feels great in my skin but the scent is awful! It legit burns my eyes. It didn't bother me as much before wearing face masks but after it's almost suffocating.
I continue to buy this again and again

This is my second purchase of this sunscreen. My skin is very sensitive and my face loves this. I have mature aging skin. This gives me the protection that I need and keeps my skin hydrated. Thank you, Dermalogica.
