So I've been used to aerosol, super chemically dry shampoo. A few years ago my hair started falling out so I stopped using dry shampoo all together. I don't think that's what actually caused my hair to fallout but it definitely wasn't helping. After watching some videos and reading some articles, I decided to give an all natural version a try. This is the very first one I've tried, so I can't compare it to other natural dry shampoos. However, i do like this product and I do feel like it works. I typically section my hair, sprinkle a little, then when I'm done I shake my whole head and brush it. I also took the advice of other reviews and do this before I go to bed. Sometimes too much comes out and then my hair gets a really ashy color (I'm brunette) but if I'm good about just doing a little at a time and working it in, the result is wonderful. There's a learning curve and it's a lot more work than a typical dry shampoo, but I think it's worth it. I do, however, wish they would change the lid so I didn't accidentally dump so much on my head
This is the first time trying this version of dry shampoo for 'brunette'. Ive tried the regular version of this and I dont mind the text/powder but the regular version of this is basically white, which was great when I had platinum hair. Nowadays my hair is dark blonde and the the 'brunette' version of this dry shampoo is still super light color. You can tell I have it in my hair no matter how hard I blend. This formula would be great if they can come in more shades!
The worst dry shampoo I have ever tried - impossible to brush it out, spread evenly or even dust out with towel. Color is very light, so it's not suitable for brunettes. Absolutely hated it.
Really like that it isn't a spray. First dry shampoo I've used in this way. Not much difference than regular, still leaves a white cast but not any worse than other products. Would recommend.
In what world is this for brunette to dark hair? The powder is WHITE, save your time and go to the store and buy baby powder if you like gray roots.
This is the best product I have ever bought. I got it in September of last year and just finished it. So it lasted me almost a year! I'm getting two more to stock up in case it ever gets discontinued. It's the best thing ever. So much better than the dry shampoos with aluminum salt in them…really unhealthy. Cant say enough good things about this one.
It is a really good product in terms of absorbing oils, but it is not dark enough for brunette hair. It looks like I have white hair when I use it.
