Do you sell replacement sponges by themselves? So that we can keep the tin and just get a new sponge when we feel it's necessary?

That scent is common from packaging and not harmful, but to make sure your sponge feels fresh, we recommend washing it before your first use. Just rinse it under lukewarm water with a gentle, fragrance-free soap (like baby shampoo or a gentle facial cleanser). How can you clean the sponge itself? What cleaning solution is recommended?

When pigment builds up on the sponge, you can refresh it by cleaning with mild soap and lukewarm water: Gently press the sponge under the water and work in the soap until residue is released. Rinse until the water runs clear. Squeeze out water gently (avoid twisting too hard). Let the sponge air-dry fully before putting it back in. For deeper brush-cleaning care, you can also use our Double Bubble Makeup Brush Cleanser—it’s a foaming, lavender-infused formula that’s gentle yet effective at removing makeup residue from brushes.Was this answer helpful to you

Don't buy it
It took off someeeee eyeshadow, when I say some I mean such a little amount and took legitimately four minutes to do so and there was still so much left on it. Not worth it at all. Left my brushes black
I bought online and had to return to the store tried on two different brushes and the sponge turned them black. I then ran my finger on it and it left a black residue on my fingers.

Great and afford
I absolutely love this brush cleaner, such an easy way to extend the use of your makeup brushes. It's best used for switching in between different eyeshadow's.
Doesn't really work that great
I get the point of this product, however it doesn't really clean off the product that well from the brush itself. The image it advertises where it has a dirty brush, and then a clean one is false. I have tried with all different brush types, shapes, pressure to apply to each brush, and it doesn't really work all to well.
