Most Helpful Positive Review Happy Brunette I wash my hair twice a week bc it's longs and too time consuming every day. I also get dry scalp if I overwash. My hair is oin straight and I have zero volume. This product is my go-to and makes backcombing a cinch! I also have dark brown hair and this is the only product that does not leave a white residue!! I'm sure there are others that do the same but when I find something g that works, why keep searching!!
Most Helpful Critical Review Kinda works I use dry shampoo if I need to be out the door soon and don't have time for a shower (or it's not THAT important I'm at 100%), yet my hair needs a little help. I just spray a bit near the roots and give my scalp a give dry scrub with my fingertips. For that purpose, it's great! But I wish I could actually use this on the second consecutive day without a shower and not feel like I still am in great need of a shower only a couple hours after using it. I wouldn't go too long after using this product once without washing your hair! It causes even more build-up, which is mostly what I'm trying to avoid by not showering every single day. For the price, I don't think I would purchase this product again.

This dry shampoo is by far the WORST product I've purchased at Ulta. I was excited for this product and highly disappointed. When I first used it, I was confused wether I bought the correct product because it literally doesn't do what it's supposed to. The spray is definitely a texturizing spray that made my hair so thick and textured I could only wear it in a ponytail or bun. Doesn't smell the best either.
Very Disappointed 1
Hair Product Junky from Sarasota, FL
The spray was more like hairspray than a dry shampoo. It did not add body to my hair. I didn't like the smell. It cost be $8 to return the product. It was $8 well spent.
Terrible! 1

It made my hair look clean, but made it stiff and tangled. Had to wear my hair up. Not a fan at all
Best Dry Shampoo I've Tried! 5
LayfromtheBay from Fremont, CA
This dry shampoo doesn't leave my hair feeling sandy or anything. The powder disperses and makes my hair less oily which is what I wanted. I can also get multiple uses from it. This is much better than the drybar shampoo. I hate how some dry shampoos I use them for two weeks and it's all out.
Not the best 1
CootieQueen from CT
I'm no stranger to dry shampoos. I have dark hair and this thankfully didn't leave the white residue. I put it on overnight and it did a good job in getting rid of the oil. However it left my hair stiff and almost knotted. I can't run my fingers through my hair without them ripping my hair. I've never had this happen with any other dry shampoo. Its almost like I used hair spray and my hair stuck together. The smell is rather unpleasant as well. Definitely didn't feel like it refreshed my hair in that aspect. Will be returning.
Spray nozzle doesn't work 1
Donna from San Jose, CA
The sprayer nozzle doesn't work, so there's no way to dispense the product.
OBSESSED!!! 5
Lana from Tallahassee, FL
I am obsessed with this dry shampoo. I can use it one time and my hair is good to go for several days. 10/10 would recommend.
One top tip: use it at night.. and then comb your hair out in the morning. It gets a little powdery so if you have darker hair letting it sit in will help you not to look like you have baby powder roots.
Won't be buying again 2

I just bought this a week ago and have tried using it twice. The smell is very overbearing and not in a good way! It makes me gag. I might find a way to get past that and use the rest of the bottle if I felt it worked but sadly not impressed. I have used others that are much better for the same price or less. I will not buy again.

I've used several brands of dry shampoo over the years. Some are better than others but all have been tolerable for getting rid of the greasies between washes and looking halfway decent. I was excited to try this one because I love Sebastian original hairspray and some of their other products. I tried four times at least before giving up on it. It doesn't get rid of the oil unless you use a fair amount of spray, it takes longer to "dry" before you can use your fingers to shake out the roots, and when it is dry it leaves your hair sticky and almost impossible to brush and very dull looking. I returned the product.
I have used this when I can't wash my hair. 5

Very good.
No white residue 4
Josie from CA
Tried several dry shampoos. Really effective and adds so much volume is LP. But leaves my scalp dry. Also like Batise but same results, dry scalp. On a whim tried Dry clean. Seems I have to use more than others to get the oil out second Day hair but doesn't feel like I masssaged baby powder on my roots. And doesn't dry out my scalp. Also don't feel the max residue like other dry shampoos. And it gives lots of volume to my hair. When using this, I like to add a leave in conditioner spray to ends because ends look dull and dry. For now will continue use this one.
I would recommend 5

I legitimately hate dry shampoo; but a sales associate at my local Ulta recommended this to me as a solution to keep me from washing my hair every day. Honestly, It's becoming a must-have for me. It smells nice, give a good amount of lift, and doesn't leave a white residue like so many other dry shampoos. I use it every other day, between washes, to keep my hair looking fresh.

I had to read the bottle 3 times after I used it to make sure it was dry shampoo and not hairspray. It made my hair so stiff and made it look wet. Even more annoyed that employees recommended it as one of the best brands they have. Waste of money
Works great and adds texture to my fine hair 5
Sue M from Chicago, IL
I use this product on my day two or day three hair to freshen it up. My hair is very fine so styling products can make it look oily. This product cleans that up and adds texture to my hair which is always welcome given how fine it is.
A must have for all women! 5

It felt like hair spray and made my hair sticky. I couldn't get a brush through my hair after using it.

I have fine wavy hair, this gives it life 5
Lee289 from CT
I LOVE this dry shampoo. I received a sample of it with a purchase at Ulta and it's the best dry shampoo I have ever used. I have tried at least 5 other kinds, but this one is my favorite. it gives my hair a clean look, it helps give it volume when I tease it a tiny bit. My hair is thin and wavy. when I flat iron it and sleep it gets disgusting. using this product helps it look GREAT on a 2nd day. I have never had luck with sleeping on my hair before this product. I like the smell, other said they do not, but I like it. it's clean smelling.
Not worth the price 3
Camille from Chicago, Illinois
I do like the product but I was hoping it had he same scent as the shampoo & conditioner but it so does not. It makes
My hair smell like cheap aerosol hairspray and the smell lingers for a while. If applied bedore bed I get volume by the morning and I do like it because it has some sort of hold. Won't buy again though. I like my products to at least smell good

I love to straighten my hair! I don't love the time it takes and that I get 2 days for all my time and effort. I've tried several root cleaners and have yet to find one I love. This one was particularly bad. The smell is awful! It has an overwhelming floral scent. That i could live with if it worked. It left a soapy/greasy feeling to my roots. I actually think my hair felt and looked worse after I used it. I love Sebastian shampoo and conditioners especially Drench. This was a fail!!
No sticky hard feeling after using 1

This product did not work as a dry shampoo. It made my hair more greasy and shiny.
On my third bottle! 4

I use this when I'm feeling lazy and don't mind a putting my hair in a simple bun or twist. Hair looks clean after use and it really adds great body and hold-ability for styles. Unfortunately, the act of even finger brushing it through my hair flattens my natural waves (and I do not straighten my hair or use any heat products) so once I use it, my hair must go up. It does smell great and adds great grip and texture to my hair so I don't mind too much.
Only bad thing I've really noticed is on all three cans I've bought, the spray nozzle stops dispensing product before the can is fully empty. It gets most of the can but that last bit...
