Why the glitter shards?
I swatched this in- store and it looked stunning on the back of my hand, so I bought it. Unfortunately, it dries down and becomes extremely abrasive because of the "crystals", which is literally just a million pieces of purple glitter. Burns and dries the face, which feels terrible. Could be a good product for body makeup, but I do NOT recommend anyone to put this on their face.

Im always hesitant to use any type of base whether its primer or foundation because most makeup makes me breakout, even the lotion i use has to be non-comedogenic. I decided to try this serum and i do not regret it, ive had zero breakouts outside of the normal ones, and i think they've even gotten a bit better while using this for the past month. If you have similar issues I do recommend to at least try it, though i know everyone's skin is different. My skin looks and feels amazing, and i love the glitter.

Is it acne safe because the scent is strong

Would you use this under sunscreen or on top? Does it make a difference if you're using one that's mineral based and more matte vs. another type that's light and sheer?
