Most Helpful Positive Review love it already with just one use i began to look for products to bring out my natural waves. they're not amazing curls or anything, just simple, slight waves that only show if i dont brush my hair. (if i brush my hair it turns into a frizzy straight/curl here-and-there texture) so i picked up a few products from devacurl, including this and im in love. i dried my hair with a regular towel first (just because i wasn't sure if i should use this straight from the shower), then i dried with this one with scrunching motions and i could already see my waves coming to life. i then used the wave maker texture whip, then went back in with this towel to get rid of any excess water. (i had seen it done this way in a video) my hairs not completely dry yet and i already love it!
Most Helpful Critical Review Wha wha whaaaaa... Meh. Nothing special about this towel. A big pack of the microfiber clothes sold in the automotive aisle accomplish the same thing. The only plus; this towel is a smidge larger and has a little loop to tuck the ends into when tied as a turban. However, with my thick hair and big head, I could just barely get it to tuck in. Also, it did not in any way reduce my dry time. I have super curly 3c/4a hair and yeah... plopped w/ this towel for 2 hours and still my hair was dripping wet. Works pretty good for removing make up though. Good thing I used my points on this. Save your money use and use a tee shirt to dry your curls instead.

If your hair is past shoulder length this will not work for you. It's too small and no more absorbent than a t-shirt. You're better off buying the t-shirt.
Overall pretty good 4
Peacock from Hillsboro
I love this towel, it's super soft and does a great job at quick drying hair and locking in product. My only complaint is that I wish it was wider. My hair is clearly to long for it so the tips stick out so I have to try to tuck them inside the towel. I feel like for the price, they definitely could have given us a wider towel to ensure that all hair can actually fit effortlessly. Overall it's pretty good, and does the job.
Massive Heads: Read On! 5
Liz from Louisiana
So my head is approximately 23.5", and my hair is both thick and coarse.
The first couple of uses found me wanting for something more secure around my head; mind you that was my only issue. That loop on one end? I only use it for hanging.
1. Apply your leave-in, and comb it through your hair. I dictate where my part will be then comb everything slightly towards the front.
2. Scrunch where you need to.
3. Position the loop at the nape of your neck, and gather the towel towards your brows while scrunching various wayward locks into the towel.
3. When the towel meets at your browline, begin twisting it together and in one position (not unlike a bun).
4. Once the remaining length of the towel is twisted almost too tightly for comfort, tuck the twisted end into the towel where a widow's peak would be in your hairline.
5. Take a breather.
After having gotten a routine and method down, I've been so much happier, and suffice it to say that this towel helps conquer the humidity of southeastern Louisiana.
Works great for my wavy fine hair 4
Jules from Pennsylvania
My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the little string on it that your supposed to put the towel through at the back of your head is seriously fragile! I've only used it 3 times and it's already hanging on by a literal thread. I know I haven't been aggressive with it but I just know it's going to rip off soon so don't expect yours to stay put long. I also use it to hang on my towel hook but it's by itself so there's really no weight to it. I just wish they used a better method but it dries my hair really well so that little hook isn't a big deal breaker for me.
good for quick dry, dont leave it on your curly hair! 4
natnat75 from Michigan
this is a fine microcloth towel, good for wringing out wet hair. but if you have curly hair, dont wrap your hair in this, it will dry it too much and you will be left with frizz.
Must Have for Any Hair 5
Tori from NOLA
The size is perfect, and is functional even with extremely long hair(waist+) though will start to stick out. Being microfiber this is great just to prevent breakage of any hair type. I snagged a second when Ulta had a sale because it's so great.
Great product 5
Penny from Cleveland Ohio
After shampooing I comb then scrunch and wrap in the devacurl towel. 10 -15 minutes later unwrap and I have bouncy curls.
My Favorite 5
SarahCarolina from Charleston, SC
I wish I had a closet full of these towels! I don't have particularly frizzy hair, but it somewhat damaged from occasionally bleaching. [I am on my Olaplex/heatless journey to restore it.]
Anyway, I always use this towel last to soak up the most water before I begin air drying my medium thick, long, straight hair. Out of all of the special hair towels that I've tried, it certainly soaks up the most water, plus it seems the most gentle.
So, this towel is also great even if you don't have curly hair!

Angelica from Louisiana
It's like any other microfiber towel except the size barely fits all of my hair and it constantly falls because of the shape. I have medium length hair that sits at my shoulders when curly, it's simply just too small. It's alright, but not worth the money for the shape and size.
obsessed 5
Mel from Kentucky
I love this towel and how it leaves my hair feeling amazing.
Great for medium length 5
Frazay from Los Angeles Ca
I'm obsessed with microfiber towels since it decreases breakage. I have below shoulder length hair and it fits perfectly . Thank you for letting me try this product for free through the cash back program
Better than a normal towel 4
Kal from Pennsylvania
This towel is super soft and absorbent. How thin and light it is makes it easy to dry my hair. My hair isn't as frizzy as when I use a normal towel. However, the towel is very rectangular. It's long but not wide enough so when I wrap my hair up in it some of my hair hangs out.
The Best Towel 5
Xtina from New Rochelle, NY
I have no complaints with this towel. Its soft and I love the length of it. I can easily wrap it around my hair and then drape it over my shoulders when I'm styling my hair. This towel does what it says. Highly recommend!
Cuts drying time 5
Amia from Minneapolis, MN
I love this towel. It's a great size for a hair towel and you can really cut drying time by using it and scrunching with it to dry. I've noticed a major difference since switching from any regular towel.
Did not like much. 2
Marim from Pa
I was excited to try this towel but disappointed. I was expecting it as a square, but it's an awkwardly long rectangular shape. You can use it to scrunch in product but not to wrap or twist up your hair. I am not very impressed with the design.
Great Addition to Wash Day! 5
Jas from Atlanta, GA
This is a wonderful addition to wash day. I've been wanting a microfiber towel to use and see if it makes a difference. I'm currently deep conditioning right now. I'd say that it's great at absorbing the moisture from my hair. t's my first time using a microfiber towel at home. My stylist uses this exact one at the salon and due to Covid, I knew that I needed to be able to recreate the in salon experience at home. I get water everywhere and this allows for me to not make as big of mess when my hair is wet! Full disclosure - I am receiving cash back on my purchase for this review. I've been contemplating this purchase for a while and I'd say that this towel or the turban is definitely worth it!
Have used religiously for 2+ years 5
Raychaz from Orlando
I have used this towel to scrunch my hair after a shower for over 2 years and don't have any complaints other than wishing I could wrap my hair but it is too small for that.
Weird shape and size 2
Emily from NY
This would be better if it was a square, but it's an awkwardly long rectangular shape. You can use it to scrunch in product but not to wrap or twist up your hair. Also, the first time I tried to hang it up to dry, the loop broke.
Great for fine hair 5
Rita from Virginia Beach, VA
I love this towel. It doesn't have that gross microfiber towel feel. It's gentle and absorbing. Def recommended!
Wonderful product! 5
Jenlynsparby from Spokane, wa
This towel helps keep my wavy frizz prone hair from getting poofy and keeps the moisture from my products locked it while I leave it on. The size is perfect and quality of the towel is amazing!
Really helps 5
Patrice from Ashland City, TN
Nice towel. Great to get out the extra water and really does help reduce frizz. Highly-recommend.
Have been looking for something like this for a while 5
Cassief from PA
I have been looking for something like this! I hated using t shirts for my hair and would sometimes just use a regular towel which created so much frizz. this does not cause frizz and is soft and comfortable. Received as part of a cashback campaign
A must have for curls! 5
Shannon32 from Montpelier, VT
This towel is a lot bigger than I expected, it works great for scrunching my curls without making them frizz. I noticed it cut down on my dry time significantly over a standard cotton bath towel, this towel is a must try for anyone with curls! I purchased this product through a cash back program, all opinions are honest and my own.
Great towel for curly hair! 4
Riky868 from NJ
Relatively large towel with hanging strap. Very soft. Doesn't mess up curly hair the way terrycloth towels do. The only downside is it must hang dry, so you have to make sure not to toss it in the dryer with your other laundry.
Was skeptical but love it 5
Lauren A. from St. Louis, MO
I was skeptical of this product at first but I'm so glad I bought this. It's not necessary for nice hair but it helps a lot. It's definitely a splurge but it truly helps me dry my hair without over drying, tangling or breaking it. I highly recommend for those who want a big microfiber towel and don't mind paying a little extra. I've also had mine for a year and it's still just as soft so that's another plus! I think it's an investment that's worth it.
