This was my first time using a micro-spoolie mascara, and I was genuinely excited to give it a try. I went with the brown shade, and I have to say it's beautiful! I've always had a soft spot for brown mascaras, and this one is flattering, softer and more natural than classic black. The formula itself is lovely. Smooth, not too wet or heavy, and I notice it applies evenly without clumps. The micro brush really shines for detail work, especially on the lower lashes or for catching those tiny corner lashes that bigger brushes usually miss. The only thing I've noticed is that with such a slim wand, I don't get quite as much drama in one go, so I like layering it with another mascara when I want that extra fullness. I'm sure there may be other ways of applying to get that volume I prefer, so I definitely will be experimenting!

The name "Detail Oriented" is absolutely spot on. The brush size is what truly sets this mascara apart, with it being so tiny. It's compact, making it perfect for precision. I can effortlessly reach even the tiniest, trickiest lashes— like the ones tucked in the inner corners or the lower lashes that are usually impossible to grab without making a mess! Another huge win is the formula itself. It's incredibly smooth, and I experienced zero clumping, even when building up layers. The shade of brown, "Chocolate," is the perfect for when black is too harsh. It defines the eyes beautifully but offers a softer, more natural look than harsh black mascara, making it a great pick for any occasion, from a casual day out, work day, or a more polished evening event. The wear time is also impressive. I wore this mascara through a full day in the North Carolina heat and humidity, and I can confirm it is completely smudge-proof and flake-free. There was no transfer under my eyes like other mascaras, which is a major benefit, especially for a colored mascara. Plus, the formula is highly buildable. A single coat gives a beautiful, defined lift, but it can be easily layered for added volume and drama without any stickiness or stiffness. It layers beautifully without looking heavy or spidery, with a detail-oriented finish. This mascara provides everything needed in an eye-defining product: a perfect, buildable formula, a fantastic precision wand, and exceptional all-day wear.
