Fabulous and Dazzling!
When I got my first matte lipstick in Rebel, I loved the color, but still longed for some lip glossy shine with it every now and then. I went back to the MAC store where Date Night was recommended to me, and that's when my love affair with Dazzleglass began! It turned my Rebel into a glossy, shimmery, sexy purple which not only made me feel ultra glam, but was also a hit at the birthday party I attended! Not too long after that, I ended up purchasing RiRi Woo, which is retro matte. Once again, I found myself in love with the color, but looking for some shine I could add on occasion. Behold, Love Alert! With the deep red accented by gorgeous gloss and shimmer, I can't wear Love Alert with RiRi Woo without attracting tons of attention from both women and men! You'd think a glittery lip gloss would be gritty and feel annoying on your lips, but Dazzleglass is actually about as smooth as any regular Lipglass or Cremesheen! And the best part is that it doesn't make you feel like a 10 year old girl, Dazzleglass literally has the perfect amount of glitter and shine! I love that I can wear it alone for a subtle daytime look or over my lipsticks for a sleek and sexy night look, I can't even decide which one I'm going to try next!
I was disappointed to see that Mac changed the applicator of these glosses to a brush, instead of the usual sponge applicators they have with all their other glosses. This brush applicator often comes in one hard piece, which has to be forced apart. This sometimes causes the gloss to be piecy and not smooth. Also, the brush doesn't stay the same shape; the bristles spread apart after gentle uses. Other than that, the gloss itself is great. Great colors and textures. Just disappointed that they didn't use the regular sponge applicator, which always worked great.
That's Money, Honey!
First of all, I purchased this product because I really wanted a different shade but it was sold out. And I'm so glad that it was. This gloss is an instant favorite. Endless sparkle and glossiness. Works best with warmer tones. I like to line it with Spice lip pencil.
Very tacky & uncomfortable
This lipgloss is very tacky, heavy & uncomfortable to wear. And the brush applicator didn't apply the product that well. I would not recommend this particular line of glosses and do not intend to purchase it again (but will purchase other MAC lip products)
Sticky bad applicator
I personally would never buy this again. Sticky and feels horrible. I always use Lipglass thinking this would be better, definitely not. The applicator makes you look to use it. Bought two, both going in the garbage.
The stopper came broken and not sealed. I fixed it only after I lost half of the tube of gloss. It is a pretty color but it's super sticky so it's barely even worth it :(
Love my Dazzleglass
my only question is.. did the color Dress to Dazzle get discontinued? if so, why?? best color ever!!!
