Most Helpful Positive Review Decent quality at a bargain price I've been looking for an affordable sunscreen to wear on days I'm struggling with rosacea. The fall and winter months are especially problematic for me. Most sunscreens I've tried (and I've tried dozens at this point) have formulas which are loaded in perfumes, alcohols, and harsh chemical ingredients. Thankfully, this product has been nearly perfect for me. It's not oily on my combination skin, but is closer to matte when applied. I'm fair skinned and the formula leaves a slight white cast which begins to fade throughout the day. Best of all, I don't feel it on my skin. It leaves no greasy feeling or residue and I don't have to scrub at my face to wash it off. I would give this product 5 stars if this exact formula was tinted. Unfortunately, Babo's tinted sunscreen has more perfumes in it which I can't wear. I best recommend this for people who have sensitive, fair to medium, and oily/combination skin.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for my skin - A LOT of Pilling I bought this to use as a face sunscreen. I have sensitive skin and was attracted by this product since it was more natural. Overall, there were more cons than pros and I just don't think it was for my skin.
Pros:
It didn't make me breakout which is great! I have acne prone and dry skin. Also, it did its job. I didn't get sunburnt with this. I also used it under makeup.
Cons:
The sunscreen was hard to rub in, leaving my face white. You could tell I have sunscreen on. This didn't really bother me until when I rubbed it on my face, the sunscreen would start to pill and make my skin flake off. I wait at least 30 minutes until I put it on after my morning skincare routine, and it pills every single time I put it on and it was pretty annoying. The smell isn't that great, but being natural and whatnot, I got over it just fine.
I asked my dermatologist about other face sunscreens I could use because I didn't like this one. He gave me samples of CeraVe face sunscreen and I LOVE it! It doesn't pill on my skin, it smells better, it gives me protection, but it still does leave the pale whiteness behind a little bit. But I'm definitely switched to CeraVe since it doesn't pill on my skin.

The white cast on this is horrible!
Product in NOT sheer 4

Product does leave a white cast on the face, and it also has a slight chemical scent. However, it did not make my skin oily and the white cast eventually disappeared. Finally, this product will tug your skin a little bit, so I suggest patting it into the skin :)
Not for oily skin! 3

This product works, but goes on thick and is pretty oily. I have combo to oily skin, and it makes my skin super shiny and oily.
Best sunscreen ever!!! 5
AJ from AZ
I am an AVID sunscreen user (very pale and freckles) so I've been on the hunt for a good every day sunscreen to apply in the morning also sometimes putting it under makeup. I have tried so many and this one is now my holy grail! I have an am skincare routine (face wash, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, moisturizing serum, eye cream, and moisturizer) and this sits so well as my ending product. I don't notice any pilling which was a huge problem for me before. The only time I did notice was it I didn't rub it all the way in or didn't rub it into my hairline. This makes my skin look beautiful and feels amazing. It does have a very light scent but almost a soft powder scent but it doesn't not linger and isn't strong. I'm very pale but I don't notice any white cast that I can see. Amazing!!!
Broke me out 2
K from Pittsburgh
This product was just a little bit too heavy and ended up causing really painful breakouts on my forehead and cheeks. It also was uncomfortable to use around my eyes.
All around great for daily use 5
Courtney from Philadelphia
I use this everyday, I usually wait 10 mins after I put on my regular moisturizer to apply. Always on a clean face. I don't have any issue with pilling but everyone is different. Overall really effective and does what it needs too. It does leave a slight white cast but absorbs pretty quickly. I have very sensitive skin and break out from almost everything but this has actually drastically improved my skins quality.
Pills on top of basic skincare 2
Teala from New Hampshire
This feels greasy on the face and pills on top of basic skincare. What a disappointment!
the BEST mineral sunscreen 5
ViolaT from Pennsylvania
I've tried many mineral sunscreens (for the face) and this is the absolute best. It is white, but at least on my fair skin, it seems to sink in quickly. It absorbs better than others and does not make my oily skin feel greasier throughout the day, as other sunscreens do. My makeup (usually a powder foundation) stays put longer with this versus with other sunscreens. Overall, the ingredients are awesome, it lasts all day, and you cannot beat the price. Will be buying this as long as they make it.
LOVE IT 5
JD from TEXAS
used it for about a week now and it has NOT broke me out so that was the first gr8 thing. Also, yes it leaves a little white cast but for me that just tells me it's doing it's job (i'm medium beige) but i just make sure to blend well and it actually leaves my skin looking better than without. I just really love it. I have oily skin but it doesn't leave me more oily. will buy again
It as a very smooth texture and it dries clear! 5
CCS from MI
Mineral sunscreen that it is easy to apply, it does not leave me a dry cast.
I mix the two tones 5
ash from ks
this sunscreen is the best. mine always smells good, not old. to get a flawless face and uv protection I mix this one with the dark skin one to achieve my skin tone. its moisturizing and my skin is getting lighter so I know it works. also, this doesn't pill. I hate that and would not tolerate that. these products never pill.
Works pretty well 4
Jane from Philadelphia, PA
This does have a white cast and it can take some time to make sure it's rubbed all the way in and you can't see it anymore. Once I add a primer on top, I don't have many issues with not getting greasy throughout the day. I would buy this again.

Love this as much as Elta MD UV Clear 5
Sycamore from St Louis
This is a great mineral sunscreen, I have light to medium complexion depending on the time of year. It has a slight white cast at first but it fades. It feels great on the skin, I know others mentioned pilling issues but I layer this over and AHA, Niacin-amide and Hyaluronic acid serums then my foundation and have never had a pilling issue. I will continue to buy!
Ok but probably will not repurchase 3

I was excited to find a non nano all mineral face SPF. It's okay but I won't be repurchasing. On my light skin it doesn't leave a noticeable cast when rubbed in, but I am pretty sure it would show on medium to deep complexions. I occasionally have issues with it pilling up on the skin. I have narrowed it down to it happening when I either apply too much at once, or if I don't let my other skincare sink into my skin well first. I will be finishing the product but won't be repurchasing. One last thing, it says 'fragrance free' but definitley has a scent from the Rose flower extract. So while it doesn't have specific fragrance ingredients, it definitely has ingredients that impart a fragrance to the product.
Gets the job done 3
Corn from RVA
It isn't elegant by any means. One great aspect is that it doesn't feel greasy. In fact, I have oily skin and it almost feels a little drying, kind of chalky. Does leave a white-cast even on my fair skin, so deeper complected people beware! It is a "natural" product though, and it gets the job done. I don't wear it under makeup, but it works fine if you're going to be outside and don't wanna get burnt.

NOT for sensitive skin 1
Anna from Chicago, IL
So I needed a sunscreen since using a retinoid, which has really helped my face clear up. Problem is this sunscreen is false advertising, it's not for sensitive skin at all! After the fourth day off using this my skin has broken out and it looks a lot redder in person, but so many little bumps on my chin and lower face.
No idea what they're putting in this, but it's definitely not good for sensitive acne prone skin.
Love it 5

Love it, Fragrance free , does not sting , easy to apply
WILL ALWAYS REPURCHASE!! 5
PaleGirl from USA
I've been using this for about a month now and I LOVE it! I don't get a white cast once I blend it in and their is no fragrance, which holds true to the advertising. I saw someone said their's smelled like floral, but that's just the chemicals. The chemicals don't even smell strong. It just smells like VERY faint sunscreen. Once you put the sunscreen on, you don't smell it. The consistency is so nice when you put it on (not too thick), it smooths out evenly over the skin. My skin type is normal so I can't speak to those with very oily or very dry skin. However, this has never dried my face out and it leaves a beautiful glowy look instead of an oily look/feel! You need to get this. Such an easy way to prevent aging and protect your skin. The price is good for how big the bottle is because it lasts forever!
Harsh sunburn after 3 applications! 1
Joleen from Chattanooga
This product did NOT protect our skin. We were outside filming an event for 6 hours and applied 3 times in that time. Everyone in my family burned, and my boys were so red and swollen in the face that they couldn't go to school the next day.
This is after THREE applications!
In addition to that, it's got that terrible white cast when you apply it to your face, and that makes you want to use less which you clearly shouldn't do!
Would not recommend to anyone!!
Not great 3
Aryennaris from Los Angeles
Sadly it is a bit drying for me and it leaves a very intense white cast. Won't repurchase.
Not ideal for melanin skin. 1
Atl beauty from Atlanta, GA
I purchased as it was described as transparent. I apply immediately following my moisturizer and it makes my face pale and ashy looking. I have tried blending with my moisturizer and it does a little better. However I don't know if that impacts the potency . I feel this may be my suited for fair skin
Not fragrance free! 3
beautybrain from slo
There is a strong floral fragrance to this although it claims to be fragrance free. Bought this online and the package ingredients differ from the list online. Also made me break out. I have mature dry skin and this did not work under my Bare minerals complextion rescue or alone.
Great Everyday SPF 5
Skincare Goddess from Madison, WI
I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and I love it! I have been searching for an affordable daily SPF with broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection for my face that actually works. I use this as the last step in the morning of my skin care regime and my makeup goes on normally once it has had a few moments to sink into my skin. My favorite thing about this product is that it doesn't make my face feel greasy and dirty like most sunscreen products. I wish that this was sold in a larger size, but a little goes a long way with this product.
