I have 3B/3C natural curls. When I style my hair in sections I end up with a mix of huge clumps I have to manually pull apart and stringy curls I have to either run the brush through again or finger style. Not For Fine Hair
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have fine, wavy hair, this brush is sooooooo heavy and rubbery/sticky. It rips my hair out :( I can see how this weight and grip would be great for hair types thicker, coarser, and curlier than mine. I'm throwing it away. I tried, but my hair cannot handle it and it's causing damage.
My new favorite
I've used a tangle teezer brush for years to detangle my curly hair after a shower. I saw the Denman brush on social media, finally bought it and have fallen in love with it. I haven't touched my tangle teezer as I find it much easier to brush my hair with the Denman after a shower. It also parts my hair cleanly easily and is easy to clean. I haven't used it for shaping curls yet, but I do love it for just brushing my wet hair after a shower and distributing my leave in product. Great product for wavy/curly hair

Great for curling hair
Works well, but falls apart
This is my second Denman brush and while it is great for detangling my curls, the rubber CONSTANTLY falls out of the handle while brushing which is very annoying. I primarily use mine in the shower and there is nothing worse than brushing and the rubber piece has completely slipped out onto the floor launching the teeth out, then trying to place the teeth back in to put the brush back together. This seems to be a consistent design flaw.
