Most Helpful Positive Review New love I usually stay far away from any 'taming' product because I don't want my curls to be tamed or limp - thankfully this doesn't do any of that! The combination of the curl tamer, wave hello shampoo and conditioner, and intensive leave in conditioner is th whole grail for my hair - I can't see myself ever using something else. I've tried hundreds of products including some really expensive ones and none have left my hair feeling and looking so amazing and healthy.
Most Helpful Critical Review Great smell, little definition Heard of the brand and loved the idea of a product that is chemical free, especially as I have started to wear my natural curls. The cream was a perfect consistency and mixed well with a few different leave in conditioners. It had some slip and created some definition when wet but when my hair dried it looked frizzy and unruly. Definitely not a product I would recommend to girls with tight/curly Afro hair but for girls with looser curls this product is for you

This didn't work for me. I was looking for a cream that had just a little more hold than a leave in moisturizer, but I could only use the smallest bit or my hair would be greasy. Once my hair was dry It would have this weird waxy, sticky residue, but wouldn't hold my waves and curls together. Maybe this would work for someone who has coarser, thicker hair

Be forewarned this cream is kind of heavier, its not at all light weight. It was better on day 2 when my hair had a chance for my hair to soak up some of it. I have high porosity, high density 2c fine hair. I would skip it if you prefer a lighter weight cream. I have allot of hair and I don't really wan't more weight added to it. By day 3 my hair was super frizzy! and when I initially styled it I put gel over this to help with frizz, but it still managed to be super frizzy. I like that it has no smell. but thats about it.

I have fine high density, high porposity 2c hair, it works ok but its a tad thick. The smell is nice and mild. I would advise emulsifying it with water in your hands and just using less for type 2's. it doesn't have allot of hold on its own so I would top it with gel or mousse.

This product helped my hair from being out of control, my curls were less frizzy. It defined my curls and has natural products that keeps your hair super conditioned and silky soft!

I love this for my 3a/3b medium porosity, medium diameter, medium density hair. this is definitely a heavy cream, but it works so well for my hair especially when in a really humid environment. it smells like salon product too.

I know that a lot of curly products don't work on wavy hair, but I guess since "wave" was in the name of this one I was a sucker and wanted to try it. Especially because the ingredients seemed promising. It's way too heavy and sticky for wavy hair IMO though. Zero bounce, very heavy and made my hair feel limp and dirty. I totally understand that wavies typically have to be more careful about those specific issues than curlies do - I just wish "wave" wasn't in the name because it's sort of misleading.

I tried this two times. It weighed down my hair and I only had sticky, heavy curls at the bottom. I have thick, wavy 2B/2C hair. I tried this because of all the good reviews but I think creams are just too heavy for me. I will return and not repurchase.

I am a curly girl who follows the CGM method. I have used many, many curl creams/gels/stylers, and this one gave me the BEST curl definition. I mean I kept going into the bathroom at work to check out these curls!!! Not too heavy or sticky and worked PERFECTLY in Florida summer heat (usually a tall order). I am usually sensitive to scent, and this one is so faintly scented it's almost non-existent. I have 2B-C curl type. This was awesome on wash day and for refreshes, too. Hands down my new favorite and I will but this again.This even beat out LUS All -in-One Wavy (and Noughty is a third of the price!!) which was my favorite before trying this. Totally amazeballs!!!! I can't wait to try the rest of the line. I'm in love!!!!!

I have 3A and 2C curls and I've tried many products over the years. My mom is a cosmologist, so I've always given a lot of thought, effort, and time into making my curls look nice (probably too much). I am a die hard DevaCurl fanatic, and I basically use all of their products, from the Noo Poo all the way to the Supercream; however, I've been reading some bad things lately which has made me want to experiment again with other products, just in case. I picked up Noughty wave Hello Curl Defining Shampoo and Conditioner as well as the Curl Taming Cream. I have to say that I am very surprised at the great results! My hair has nice volume and lift with very natural looking, healthy, defined curls. The shampoo wasn't too bubbly, the conditioner was rich, and the curl cream was thick but not sticky, waxy, or too heavy. You don't have to use very much because a little goes a long way for all three products. I applied the cream while my hair was wet, used a diffuser, and dried my hair partially upside down (as I always do). Beautiful results! I'm not in love with the scent; it has an ocean smell that I think is a bit masculine, but it's still clean smelling. I love that the cream doesn't leave any crunch or greasy texture in the hair. Overall, I think this is a really nice product line. I would rate it along the line with salon quality, professional level products.

A little bit goes a long way with this product. You only need about a dime size. Anymore and makes hair feel like there is a lot of product in it.

I use the product on soaking wet hair after their Volumizing Shampoo and conditioner (which I would highly recommend those products, love them!). While it worked well in defining my curls I felt as if there was simply a thickness to it that was almost too much. Will be using a little less from now on when styling however I was hoping to use this as my only styling product, sadly that will not be the case. Smells nice! I would recommend to another curly haired friend if they often use thicker creams for their hair however I do not think that the hold of this product would work for those with hair texture 3c or more, 3b would most likely be the most it can give a good hold with. Also I would be careful to recommend this for wavy hair as it is so thick
