Most Helpful Positive Review LOVE this creme Normally, I have wavy to curly hair depending on the day I air dry. I started using this product to control what my hair looks like and I haven't stopped using it since. Unlike mousse, that leaves your hair crunchy and wet looking, you would never know you used a product with Aquage. My curls are soft, natural and frizz free. I always use this product ~10 mins after a shower, apply even through hair and scrunch. I wash my hair every other day, and i have learned that the product lasts long enough that on off days, if I wet my hair and scrunch, my hair curls like i just added new product. (This makes the product last longer and ensures my hair looks great every day). Would Highly Recommend!
Most Helpful Critical Review No nourishment My hair dresser swore by this stuff and she has great hair so I thought I would try it. I used it with a couple pumps of the aquage hair oil. As soon as my hair dried it felt knotted and frizzy the texture felt like I had hair spray in it. Won't be buying this again

Was told months ago that this product was discontinued. Went to store for something else, and saw it there. Nice product, not sticky, doesn't leave curls crunchy, good hold yet workable. Scent is not too strong.
I will buy again 5

Been buying this for years, great product! No stiffness, nice soft smell
Not overly impressed 1
Carrie from Colorado
I used it for the first time and my curls where not nearly as defined as when I just simply mist with hairspray while still towel dried/damp. Going to give it another try.
New FAVORITE curl product!!!!!!!!!! 5

I have been in search of a product that I could use on its own for my crazy curly mane! I have finally found it and I am in love!
Excellent product 5
CC from Phoenix
This goes on very smoothly and evenly and it's not heavy on my hair. My hair still stays very soft with gentle curls. If I want to stiffer curlier curl, the gel is works great!
I will buy Aquage curl define again! 5
Steph from Lake Ozark MO.
I have tried other curl definers and they were ok. Some actually made my hair frizzy. But this definer smells great and my hair is shiner and my curls twistier. I love it!

This makes my hair super curly! I naturallly have curly hair but this defines the curls really well and makes my hair super soft! The smell is not over powering so that's a huge plus. It is overall an awesome product!!

jpetty92 from Bedford, IA
I have very natutrally curly hair that is very afro like. I struggle to find product to calm it. I have had very good luck with this. I wish it came in larger container as I use quite a bit.
This cream works really 5
caseya3e29 from Denver, CO
This cream works really well and it smells pretty good too. It is thick so it makes my hair actually feel hydrated when I use it. It does make my curls bouncier, I like the effect is has.
I like this brand. 4

I like this brand. There really isn't much of a smell to this product. It is very lightweight and keeps my hair and waves pretty soft. However i feel like it dosen't do much for keeping a style all day
My forever holy grail. 5
peachflavoredjess from Studio City, CA
My forever holy grail. I have 3a-3c curls and this curl cream holds them all together without issue. I pair it with a good leave-in conditioner, and sometimes a gel on top, but I'll continue to buy this product until I die.
Gives curls great shape 5

You have to be a professional to get this product or go to a salon but this is definitely the holy Grail of products from every type texture curl pattern. It's our number one selling product.
THIS PRODUCT IS EVERYTHING 5

I have tried every curl product on the market for my 3C mixed chick, thick curly hair. I'm growing out a pixie cut and decided to just wear my natural curls as my hair grows. I wash and deep condition practically every day trying to find (or wash out) the right product for my thirsty curls. I use permanent color every six weeks to cover gray. The moment I squeezed this from the tube and saturated my damp hair I knew it was different and my search is over. This cream immediately made my hair feel slippery, soft, and manageable. The smell is a bit spicy & odd at first but fades to a very natural scent. I combed it through and my hair started air drying and curling into its natural pattern faster than it ever has. I have a few long, straight (asymmetrical cut) pieces that I always have to finish with a curling iron, blow-dry brush, or roller due to over-processing and they curled naturally too! After my hair dried it was soft, shiny, and gorgeous. Thank you Aquage. Curl Defining Creme does everything you say it will.

Lightweight doesn't feel sticky
Not enough hold 3
Christinacmt from Midland, TX
I thought this product would be good for fine hair, but it doesn't have enough hold to keep the curls formed throughout a day.
Terrific hair product 5
Blondie from Marietta,GA
My hair is thinning as I get older and my stylist used this creme on my hair during my last haircut. She explained that even though I don't have curly hair, she found that the curling creme was great at making thin hair look and feel thicker. She was right! I loved the way my hair looked after she blew it out and I've had good results at home too.
Nice, lightweight definition 5

I visited Ulta in hopes of purchasing a tube of Aquage Detailing Creme, but they were out. The sales associate suggested I try the Curl Defining Creme. This is a lighter product but I like it. My hair is short with some waves and I'm in the process of going naturally gray, so I'm dealing with some wiriness and flyaways. The Detailing Creme was perfect for this in that it had more tackiness and the right amount of control for me. The Curl Defining Creme will work perfectly, especially when mixed with a bit of control wax or paste. This wasn't a bad swap, and curly girls should love it. I haven't met an Aquage product I didn't like; the line came highly recommended by my hairstylist daughter.

Too much softness 1

Wanted to try new product since my go to curl refiner from Mantra had a formula change. This product doesn't hold curls well for natural curly hair. I do not recommend.
I will buy this product again and again!! 5

I use it each morning after I wet my hair before work. I love this product
Staple for my low density fine wavy hair 5

First, it's important to know what type of hair you have. I need light weight styling cream that will create a soft wave/curl. My routine is typically after I shower I will apply leave-in conditioner and then apply this cream after. Depending on what I want my hair to look like I will add another product. I will say that I have tried many curl cream but this is my favorite; I have used this for >5 years.

It just did absolutely nothing for my hair. My current hair products are much better than this. Sad too since it was suggested to me by a hair stylist at Ulta who has done my hair.
