Most Helpful Positive Review Best concealer ever! I have very dark undereye circles, and have tried LOTS of products over the years. I make-up artist on a shoot introduced me to this, and at the time, I could only purchase at a dermatologist's office (who worked on scarred/burn patients). This product is AMAZING. When I have gone to make-up stores, and artists have offered to do my make-up, they are blown away by how dark my circles really are when I remove my make-up, and THEY have asked what I use. People who have seen me with and without make-up have asked me to please let them know what I use and how to hide these circles! Thats how good this product is.
Coverage is full, lasts all day, and is waterproof (!!). I cannot recommend enough to those with perma-circles (dark bluish-purple) like myself.
When using, make sure to warm up on your hand (as it is a pot concealer) and then apply sparingly. A little goes a long way! Blending is key. A pot lasts over a year so the price is a bargain.
The most important thing is to purchase the correct color - that is also the most difficult. I am olive skinned (MAC NC-40, Revlon Colorstay 300 or 310, Make-Up Forever #123, Napoleon Perdis Foundation Stick #Look 3) and use Almond Beige 1 1/4.
I would say this product and Kevin Aucoin's SX line are the best concealers I have ever used.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not that great! I previously used the Vichy Dermablend Foundation Compact and this Dermablend Cover Crème is basically the same thing. I was hoping it'd be different, with slightly better coverage but it is not. The Cover Crème has been reformulated and ever since then, the coverage is average. I could get the same coverage from a drugstore brand. I only applied it on my acne and scarring on my cheeks and blended it out a little elsewhere. The color was a match, which is difficult for someone like me who has very pale, yellow undertoned skin. (I got it in Warm Ivory.) Anyway, I wore it to work one day and after 5 hours I looked in the mirror and was a hot mess! I applied it correctly, mind you, after exfoliation and moisturizing. It made me acne look very dry and made my pores look horrible. There were dots all over my cheeks and chin! I suppose a primer could help BUT the product is also very greasy and easily rubs off and transfers even with a great setting powder. Now, I'm not saying I hate this product, it covers well enough and like I said, I have used something similar before.. but buyer beware! This will probably not be your holy grail. The coverage is nowhere near as full as it is described to be!

Not good for tattoo cover 2

Got this to cover a tattoo and did not cover.
Will probably return it. 1

The consultant told me it would completely cover two age spots on my face. Nope. FIVE light applications later (yes, I'm dabbing) both spots are still ver noticeable. Cover a tattoo? I think not.

Ok first, I was an Estee Lauder Double Wear devotee. Lately, it has been accentuating my dryness and my forehead lines, so I have been needing a switch. I love how the product feels really hard at first, kinda like clay. You have to dig it out with the little spoon that comes with it. But once you are applying it your skin warms it up and it just kinda melts into your face. It covers my dark circles, redness, and blemishes perfectly. I haven't used it with primer or setting powder yet (I have a 10 month old so I haven't gotten to do my makeup but twice this week), so I feel like if I try a primer under and then set it, that it will last longer. Otherwise by end of day, I'm shiny and its rubbing off easily. I do love how this doesn't settle into fine lines, and it doesn't make me look cakey in the dry areas. If you have dry skin this would be an excellent foundation for you, it's very creamy once it's on. And the shade selector on the Dermablend website was 100% correct, I was gonna go a shade lighter but went with what it told me and it was right.
Amazing coverage and SPF! 5

I love this foundation, I've been using it since 2012! It's full coverage, hides blemishes, and dark circles. It protects my skin from sun damage with its SPF30, which is needed in sunny Florida.
Have acne scars so yes I will by again 3

Its ok but need setting powder
The best facial imperfection foundation coverage 5
Roz G from Portland, Oregon
Have spent a fortune on so-called full coverage foundations trying to hide the spider veins on my face and nose. This is the only one I have found that does the job. Found that the trick to getting a natural look (other than choosing the right shade) is always to apply primer first, use a miniscule amount (you can always add more) and set with powder. I am super-happy with the results, stays on until you take it off.
AMAZING!! 5

this is the best full coverage foundation! i love this product! it isn't too heavy if used right, it doesn't cake up or oxidize on my skin, combined with the concealer it lasts all day!! my new favorite!!
I like the product, but the color is too dark for me. 4

The product has good coverage. I just can't find a color that enhances my coloring.

I love the dermablend foundation drops, so I wanted to try this for a heavier coverage. It is awful. It is soooo greasy and the way you have to apply it is so weird, you have to warm it up in your hands and then put it on your face? Not trying to have foundation all over my hands while getting ready (it is very hard to wash off hands too) and then it looks clumpy. It is horrible.
Terrible color match. Difficult to exchange online. 2

Bought the foundation online. It was not a good color match. Tried to exchange in store and the line was too long and I couldn't wait. Trying to exchange online with no success or help from customer service.
The ONLY product that actually works! 4

This is the ONLY product I've found after searching for years for something to cover a large dark spot on my forehead and acne scarring. Apply a light layer and let dry before the next layer if needed. Set with their white setting powder and it stays in place. It does not cake and it won't settle in fine line thank goodness. Looks good even after 12 hour shifts. The only con is I touch my face a lot and it transfers to my clothes and face mask.
No no no! 1

It feels extremely greasy!!!! Looks very oily on skin even after applying setting powder and setting spray! Such a waste of money
It broke me out. But I do have very sensitive skin. 2
Brit from Mobile, Alabama
I like it match my skin tone. But something in the product broke me out. It wasn't acne. I had an allergic reaction to something in the product. This stuff is hard to wash off your face and makeup tools too.
Terrible 1

Strongly dislike this product. The initial coverage seems good, but this product feels like it never really sets or dries. It feels like a greasy layer of gunk sitting on your face. Even after using setting powder. This foundation sinks into pores and wrinkles after awhile, accentuating flaws instead of hiding them. Will definitely be returning this.
so good 5

i don't think it's all that great when you follow the instructions of "warming it up". mama just put ur sponge in there and pack it on. i love the coverage, it reminds me of those kryolan paint sticks. it's especially good if you have to be on stage, or under bright lights. HOWEVER, the formula is pretty waxy and it's really an acquired taste.
I would but this product again! 5

Good coverage! 4

I'm using this more to cover spider veins than a sunscreen. So far, seems to work pretty well.
I would buy again for coverage 3

this product does not deliver on its claim of 16 hours even when I follow instructions and use their setting powers. I has never lasted not even 8 hours.
Great for scars 5
Peaches from Illinois
I fell in September and got a bad scar on my upper lip below the now and the tip of the nose and bridge. I am an makeup enthusiast so I was determined to be able to cover for those rare occasions when not wearing a mask Using normal color correcting techniques wasn't working well. The scars still bled through. Then I remembered Dermablend and how we used many years ago for scarring on my daughter from a bad car accident. And ordered and this is working much better with and without color correcting techniques!
Love the coverage 5

I use this mainly as a concealer, but it works great to cover my blemishes.
