Most Helpful Positive Review My GO-TO foundation!!!! This was one of the first foundations I've ever used! I apply ABH stick first with serum and then top with bareminerals original powder foundation and the results are FLAWLESS!
Most Helpful Critical Review Abort Mission I'm shocked. Because Anastasia's line is so "high end", and their other products are so great, I had no doubt that I would love this foundation. The stick formula would apply with ease, lessening the time needed for my morning beauty ritual. Boy, was I wrong. This foundation doesn't blend easily, and while it claims to be a "full coverage".. it's not. By the time you get full coverage, you've used half the stick and you have a pound of foundation on your skin. It clings to dry patches and accentuates the slightest texture and/or bumps you may have on your face, making them appear HUGE. It doesn't stay on throughout the day either. Needless to say, I am so disappointed in this product. I've purchased drugstore brands that are far better than this foundation.
Reviewed by 3300 customers Eh...nice formula but pulls grey 3
Kate the Great from Tampa, FL
I've been on the search for something to contour with. Typically I use Anastasia BHs Powder Contour Palette but wanted to do something with a cream or liquid. The girl at Ulta recommended the Shadow shade but when I used it at home, I could barely see it on my face and when I tried to use more product, it just looked grey.
The formula itself is nice though — it's creamy and blends nicely. I just wish they had some warmer shades. I'm going to try the darker shade next and see what happens.
Good but not great 3

They defiantly went into the skin easy enough and blended nicely. But I wish the color in the contour stick would have came out stronger, and the the top came to a slight point to be able to better apply to smaller areas.
Really beautiful, fawn perfect cool shade for cool fair skin 5
Sara H from Hartford, CT
Fawn is a very beautiful cool toned shade, very similar in color to Fenty amber but I think the Anastasia is easier to blend. It doesn't tug at all. Even and not patchy.
Hard to blend 2
Emily from Washington
I really wanted to love this, but I just don't think I can keep using it. It's just so hard to blend. I love the color of it, but in order to blend it you have to use a really firm brush. It almost too dry.
I love it! 5

It goes on smooth, & blends great!
Wrong advertisement 1
annie from Houston, Texas
It says a banana highlight stick when it is not, instead it's a counter stick and I was looking forward to finally having a highlight stick. Don't be tricked by the advertisement

I was looking for a cream concealer and this was the closest I could find to one at my Ulta store. Although this isn't technically one, I have no idea what it would be used for. It was so hard to blend and broke up almost immediately.
The warmest shade still looks grey 2
LivC from NJ
This product was not drying on my skin, but the warmest shade is still far too cool. Has a grey appearance in pictures and in real life.
Was not my favorite. 2

I tried using this on top of my tarte amazonion clay foundation and it would not blend. It just pulled up my foundation causing me to have to remove my makeup and start over.
Great contour for fair skin 5
Missy Truth from Des Moines, Iowa
I love this, it blends easily and is just the perfect cool Ash brown for my fair skin. Not cakey or shiny, and doesnt look too heavy
MY HOLY GRAIL ****** 5

I love a good cream contour….. cool toned, of course. This is the most beautiful color I've ever seen. I have the shade Fawn. It size is perfect for your check contour and easily use to contour my nose and chin. Use a beauty blender for a light coverage or a small brush to diffuse into foundation. It melts into the skin and stays put all day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND MY LOVES XOXO

I love this brand, but not this product. I bought the banana and opted for a warmer contour stick from a different brand. I'm glad I didn't buy two of these because it is not good for any skin texture other than oily, and feel that the description was misleading in that regard.
I'm very fair combination skin and assumed that a product labeled "highlighter" with no distinction on skin tone would be universal. This is is in no way a highlighter and is darker than my natural skin tone. I figured the yellow tint would be good for undereye and it would be pale enough with some illumination, but matte and no shimmer.....which is what I was looking for. The stick is darker than expected and is not a highlighter by any means for skin tones on the fair spectrum. Considering I first looked at this product based on reviews for contour colors suited for pale skin, I feel mislead and now have to return. I may have kept as a concealer if it was 2 shades lighter since it is very matte and appears to be a good formula for building coverage.
WOW! HOLY GRAIL! 3

finally.... FINALLY....a contour stick that blends beautifully! Plus the shades are not orange. which with contour is so important. I'm so happy I found this product!

i was looking for a contour stick but there's only so many on the market. i've tried the nyx wonderstick years ago but it wasn't what i was looking for. powder contour just doesn't get the job done for me.
this is worth every penny. i have never used a cream contour before but WOW! it makes me look like i paid for a professional to do my makeup.
the shade fawn is perfect for anyone who is on the lighter end of the shade range. i'm super pale with neutral undertones. this looks so natural and not muddy or too overpowering.
this blends like butter. seriously. the application is beautiful. thank u universe for allowing me to find this perfect product.
if you're looking to step your makeup game up, YOU NEED THIS
I love this bronzer stick! 5

I use it after I do my concealer. Then when I'm done blending it I bake it all with my loose powder. Then top it off with my Urban Decay setting spray.
Great color, even for fair skin 4
RiverWearUK from SF Bay Area
Great shade for contouring - creates the look of a shadow without any orange tone like many other contour has. My skin is pretty fair (sunburn easy) and I wear "ivory" shades of foundation. The color Fawn is not too dark for me; I'm glad I didn't go with the lighter color. Only complaint is that it seems to disappear by the end of the day.
Game changer 5
Dixiejoe from Western North Carolina
I purchased the shadow contour stick for my light skin tone. I am very pleased with the results. I use it over my foundation in my cheek hollows, my hairline, my jawline and the hollows of my throat. I have placed an order for banana and plan the try out the fawn color as well.
Love it! 4

I don't really use contour so I wanted to give this a try because I've heard so many good things about it. My only con is that it doesn't last all day. The color Shadow looked great on my very fair skin.
Love it! 5

I'm naturally pretty pale. In Rare beauty foundation in 170w and Este Lauder 1N1 for reference. I got fawn color and I'm in love! It looks so natural and perfectly contoured! I agree with other comments that the stick feels stiff when applying, as in it's not melted enough. But blended perfectly on my skin by using the it cosmetics double ended brush for foundation and concealer. I love it! Probably gonna get darker color too for my tan days.
So dry... 1

Its too dry for my skin, not easy to blend...
Maybe perfect for oily skin.
Not a fan 2
Yasmine from Whittier
Maybe it's my skintone, I don't know but the color looked muddy on me. Not only that but the texture is very thick and difficult to blend. With other cream contours I was able to use a sponge to blend it out but this one didn't work with a sponge. I like creamier contours especially because Im not the biggest pro on contouring. It may work for someone else but not for me.
Great pigment, need a dense brush to blend. 4

Bought Mink for light, olive skin to use as contour stick. I traditionally love the smashbox Cali contour palette and use the darkest shade because it's so cool toned which I prefer in a contour...this is a great cream stick alternative! Cool toned, gives you that grey shadow you want. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because it is slightly difficult to blend. I bought the morphe cream contour brush (jh08) specifically to blend this out and it did not work! I recommend applying the product directly to a dense foundation brush (I used real techniques foundation blender) and then dabbing onto face. WorkS GREAT. If you put the stick right on your face, it takes forever to buff and spread.
Perfect Shade for Pale Skin! 5
Killianne from Dalton, GA
My first contour stick, still getting used to the product but it blends beautifully and it's the first contour shade I've ever used that matches my pale skin! A new favorite, for sure!
LOVE! 5
Annie from Minneapolis, MN
Doesn't have that orange look that a lot of contours have. Very creamy texture and blends super well.
