Most Helpful Positive Review Great foundation! Great foundation that lasts a long time. I have "normal" skin and have problems with redness and some acne.
I like the version for normal/dry skin even though I live in Florida and its constantly around 100 degrees and high humidity.
Here's a picture after 10 hours of wear after a long hit day
Most Helpful Critical Review False Advertising I have no idea how this could be branded for Normal/Dry skin. My skin type is combo (dry around nose, and a little dehydrated on my chin) so I assumed this would work well for me, but I was wrong. This foundation sucked the absolute life out of my skin as soon as I applied it. I prep my skin by washing with a gentle cleanser, followed by my standard regimen of treatments & moisturizer, which leaves my skin looking/feeling dewy and hydrated. As soon as I apply this foundation, it looks like I applied it directly to flakey skin (which I did not). Even with a clean, damp sponge, the foundation looks beyond cakey. The only pro I have is that the coverage is halfway decent. It covers my redness and pimples when I have them, but unfortunately it makes my skin look much worse than before I applied it. Will never purchase this again unless it is completely reformulated. All I want is a full coverage, dewy, decent-lasting foundation...evidently this is NOT that product for me! Will be returning to my trustworthy L'Oreal True Match Lumi.

OMGAWD! When I tried this product I was not expecting the results to be amazingly this good. It is long wear over 8 hours that I don't have to retouch it, this foundation is not transfer-able and that's a bonus for me, it gives off that natural look and is blend-able plus build-able from light to medium coverage, I believe you can go full coverage on this one too. It does not make my skin patchy and or tacky at all, it has a good smell to it and I love that it does cover all of my flaws. This is my forever holy grail I am so glad Revlon didn't change anything about this product. Keep it the way it is because it is working !!
It's awful and will be taking it back Monday 1

Foundation covers nicely and I was able to match my skin tone but I was expecting it to be more moisturizing and dewey looking. The finish is matte which isn't good if your skin tends to be drier. Probably won't buy again.
Decent but underwhelming 3

So I do like this product but it was not as I expected. Considering it's the dry/normal skin one, i'd expect it to not be so... drying? It dries down like a semi-matte foundation, but why closer to the matte side than glowy? Afterall us dry skinned folks who are getting this foundation are expecting something on the hydrating side so it doesnt cling onto patches.. not sure if I'd repurchase when i'm done but it's still a good enough foundation to keep and fully use. It doesnt make me look horrible thankfully, and I love the pump, but I'm not blown away or impressed.
Not full coverage 3

The main thing I don't like is that it is not full coverage I can get it to a light medium coverage but it still doesn't even fully cover my freckles. Another con is its very liquidy and it takes about 4-5 pumps to reach that medium coverage. It appears to have a matte finish. It dries out my skin slightly as well.

I am 44 years young and very fair skin with pink undertones. I also have dry skin. I fancy myself what I call a makeup enthusiast and collector. My collection of products is extensive and my knowledge/experience with makeup is thorough. I have tried many many foundations over the years. Drug store, midi and high end. Revlon Colorstay is literally the best foundation for me. It's 24 hour wear, it's buildable, it's affordable, the shade match for me is perfection (I mix in the summer when my tone changes a little), it buffs into the skin seamlessly and sets (I hate foundations that never dry down!), the finish is perfect, no oxidation, minimal transfer, stays on your face through crazy face sweating, heat and humidity, tears and even exuberant sexy time - it's my ride or die, never disappoints me, always looks great foundation. Reading some of the reviews here and I see I'm not the only one. The ColorStay concealers and pressed powders is also fantastic and always dependable by the way. I hope this stuff never goes away and/or the formula doesn't change because out of my many recommendations on specific makeup products tried and tested, Revlon Colorstay foundation is really and truly holy grail status.
I aways go back to this one 5

I really do love this foundation and have repurchased it many times. It has been a top seller for years for a reason! I am 48 with normal to dry skin. I want a foundation that I can put on in the morning and know that it will stay put all day without creasing, wearing off or breaking apart in funny ways. I do try new some foundations (both drugstore and high end), but I always go back to this one. I have dark brown hair, brown eyes and fair skin with a neutral undertone. Shade 150 Buff matches me perfectly. It is not too pink or too yellow and most importantly, it doesn't oxidize on me. The only negative is that it is not completely transfer proof, but honestly, few foundations truly are. This has been a tried and tried foundation in my make up bag for years!
I keep buying it 5

This is my all-time favorite foundation. I use it over Tarte Poreless Primer and my skin looks flawless all day.
My favorite drugstore foundation 5

No matter what foundations I try, I always find myself coming back to the Revlon color stay. The coverage is buildable, the finish is skin-like. I couldn't recommend it more. The shade Nude is absolutely perfect for me and I really love this foundation.
I wouldn't buy this again 1

It has a pretty finish and is pretty at first but I shined the light from my phone and it has kinda like sparkles in it as if it was loose highlighter in the foundation I don't know don't dig it

No matter what foundation I buy or the pri$e . This one is my HOLY GRAIL all time FAV I don't know why I even bother trying the more expensive ones ! Well done revlon. I'm not by any means an influencer but I surely do recommend this to my close friends and family
Beats high end and other drugstore foundations 5
MakeupMama from Texas
I have been using this foundation for years and no matter how many others I try out, even expensive ones, I always feel they aren't as good as this one. It is the only one that will last all day and doesn't emphasize any of my fine lines.
great foundation 4
angiencs from Maryland
great foundation but i chose the incorrect color, too light for me and it's very difficult to understand the undertones for this line of products. the foundation is a little drying despite the fact that its for dry skin, though it might have been a me problem since i hadn't primed and moisturised when i tried the foundation.
Need help finding the right shade 5
Allison from OH
I love this foundation! It is perfect for my skin. Lasts all day, even in our hot & humid summers. However, my current shade is too light. I'm using 250 Fresh Beige & I cannot figure out what is 1 and 2 shades darker. I've tried the Oily version in 330 & 350, and they are good matches. But there is no shade to match in the Normal/Dry version. 320 & 330 in Dry are too dark. I prefer the Dry version for winter. Any help would be appreciated. I already have 10 different shades. I can't afford to buy the entire range to find it.
I would buy this product again. 4

i would defintialy recommend this brand to my friends with dry skin because after taking it of your skin is moist and it does not cause you to have rough skin. It is very easy to applie and remove, but i would definatly recommend
I would recommend this!! 5

The best 5

I have tried many drugstore foundations over the years and none compare to this one. It leaves a beautiful finish and lasts all day (with a primer). I'll continue purchasing this as long as they make it!
Mixed feelings 3
Marisa from Spokane WA
This foundation says it's for dry skin, so you would think that it's hydrating but it's not. I have normal-dry skin with some very mild oiliness on my nose sometimes. This foundation is drying. It dries in patches under my eyes and on my nose.
But it is long lasting for sure. So what I do is moisturize well, use a hydrating primer underneath, and a hydrating setting spray. And minimal powder.
The foundation is also not great coverage. I have pretty normal skin aside from blemishes here and there but I can see my freckles through this foundation.
I sometimes mix it with catrice HD liquid coverage and it provides more coverage, is less drying, and even more long lasting than either of the foundations on their own. Mixing the two is actually my current go-to.
I'm always trying new foundations looking for a holy grail, this is longer lasting than any other I've tried for sure. If you have oily skin you would probably like it, even though it says it's for dry skin. It's a good every day foundation if you're not going full glam and are okay with blemishes and freckles showing.
