How To Use

Lather and massage an appropriate amount of shampoo onto wet hair. Leave shampoo on hair according to hair color:

Warm Blondes: 1-3 minutes before rinsing
Neutral Blondes: 3-5 minutes before rinsing
Cool Blondes: 5-15 minutes before rinsing

Rinse thoroughly. Daily use is suggested. Individual results may vary.

Great for my haieLove that it's non toxic, no artificial fragrance added, and more environmentally friendly than conventional products. I like it overall, my hair has been more smooth and less frizzy with it's use. I haven't noticed any change in brassiness with light-medium brown hair. I wish it cleansed the hair a little bit more and didn't leave an oily residue. I've been using more natural shampoos and conditioners for the past few years and have been able to transition to washing my hair once every 2 to 3 days. With this product I feel like I have to wash it more often. Also, for those of us with dandruff/dermatitis, oil left on the scalp is not helpful :(.LOVE this BUT BEWARE - product SPILLS BADLY!Smells great, lathers well and tones my hair well. I'm trying various purple shampoos/conditioners because I'm transitioning into my grey hair AND looking for one that I can leave on a bit to get a purple tint/coolness tone. It doesn't leave a purple tint, really - but definitely tones it. CAVEAT: I've ordered this THREE times in 1 month - because the product keeps SPILLING during shipping. I contacted ULTA after the first order (which spilled all over in the box with the other items I had ordered) and they sent me a new bottle of shampoo, no charge and could keep what I had left - and I had suggested that they TAPE it shut for shipping and assured me it wouldn't happen again. The second bottle arrived and no tape, product spilled all over, leaking out of the white padded envelope mailer (apologies to the USPS!). When I reported it to Ulta, they told me they would mail bottle #3 and told me to RETURN the 2nd bottle to the store. I did and the cashier was nice enough to refund my money (thank you), even though I had bottle #3 coming in the mail. When it did arrive again a few days later, SAME ISSUE: SPILLED again (and no tape). I give up. While I like this shampoo, it is not enough to endure spilled product over and over again and the hassle/time that I had to spend with Ulta, cleaning up the items in which it spilled all over with (in the box) bring the product to the store, explain the issue over and over again. I wonder what the people in the warehouse are doing - the product's pump SHOULD be taped shut to ensure it doesn't pop up during shipping. And it still hasn't been done. So, order at your own risk! I hope Ulta's management reads this and makes some changes to how they're shipping things.

I was excited for this purple shampoo bc of all the great reviews however, it dries my hair to the point it tangles it and I have to extra condition to untangle. To top it off, it does nothing to my hair, I still have to follow with other blonde toning products for actual results .

Smells bad and leaves residue

I was excited to use this product after reading the reviews but for my thin, fine hair it was terrible. It didn't feel like it got my hair clean, left a residue worse than other color depositing shampoos I've tried, and smells too herbal. Plus I didn't see any toning so definitely not worth it.

No frizz

I recently started coloring my hair, I soon found that my hair was getting dry and frizzy, dull. I gave this purple shampoo a try and after a few uses it seems to have solved the issue. It brought moisture back into my hair. I am glad I made the switch.

Vibrant Color
