Most Helpful Positive Review Will use again Overall: liked this product a lot.
Process: used that ACV scrub and rinse to get my hair clean, buildup free and primed for this. Towel tried until damp and ends starting to feel dry. Applied over a quarter sized dollop probably about 2-3 times then combed through then 1-2 more times as my hair is very long and felt like it was sucking this up. Wanted to make sure i had sufficient coverage and no patches. Left on for about 10 minutes since this was my first time and i wasnt sure how it would turn out. Rinsed and conditioned with regular conditioner because it didnt feel very conditioned.
Results: Looks good! It didnt make my highlights as dark as i wanted (probably should have chosen a darker color) but it definitely evened out my highlights and toned the color to a much less brassy tone. My hair doesnt feel bad but is not as soft as i usually like it. Will use a hair mask next time after.
Most Helpful Critical Review Worth it if you don't mind warm tones I've been coloring my hair for about 25 years through a mix of semi/demi permanent, permanent, and color masks at home, as well as various treatments at the salon. I've been every natural color under the rainbow, and a couple not so natural colors, with naturally level 5 or 4 dark brown hair, and some gray. Right now I have some level 7-8 highlights from balayage. I had my dying my very ashy hair an auburn/copper color with the roots around a level 5, mids around a level 6, and highlights, as said before, about 7-8. There was still a lot of warmth/red in my hair and I was hoping the mask (Latte, cool, for dark blonde/light brown), would both darken my hair and at least fade a bit of the red out of the hair so I could avoid the salon for quite awhile during coronavirus. While it definitely darkened the hair, it did nothing for warmth, and I would say even toned my lightest hair to a warm brown/reddish color. I'm not upset as I obviously like redder hair too - but was disappointed that this product was advertised as cool. I didn't expect it to have much if any affect on the darker parts of my hair, but it definitely brought out some golden tones there. It didn't really cover the grays, but over all it did even my hair out a bit and definitely made it darker.
I use it in the shower after shampooing, leave for 5-10 minutes, with rubber gloves. This avoid mess and makes for easy clean up. If it falls on your bathroom services, do clean up immediately, just to be safe, but I had no problems with staining. It will wash out fairly quickly if you don't keep using it, and my fairly long hair will only get 3 uses out of the whole bottle. It's not bad, for what it is, and if you like/want warmer tones, you'll love using these colors - but if you want to stay ashy or neutral - steer clear.

I have pretty dark blonde natural hair that is color treated to a dark brownish red but is super faded. My hair is pretty dry, but not very damaged as I rarely use hot styling tools.
I like to use these toning conditioners between salon visits to give my color a refresh and keep things different and exciting. I use the Plum to give my color a nice cool, purple tone and let me just say the color pay off is amazing. It seriously POPS and I always get compliments the day I do the treatment. However, the color washes out super fast (but that might just be my hair porosity). I just wish it stayed longer because I have to buy this product a lot. The bottle only lasts about 2.5-3 treatments for me. Another perk compared to competitive brands is it washes off the skin (and my shower) nicely without staining when things get a little messy because let's be real I am not a professional and my application style sucks. Overall, it's a good product, you should definitely give it a go. Live a little and spice up your hair color.

was expecting more from this product. It did absolutely nothing. Wouldn't grab on to my blonde at all. Not worth the money.
Will definitely repurchase 5

I got highlights in august and was initially unhappy with the tone. I had asked for a warm caramel/copper but ended up with unnatural looking cool tone highlights. I bought both caramel and apricot and did test strands of both. I ended up picking apricot for the warmer tone. I followed the instructions and also sectioned my hair (used almost the whole tube). I rinsed it out after 10 minutes and it worked so great! My hair is shiny and my highlights are much warmer and blend better with my natural color. Not sure how often I will have to use the product, but I'm happy to repurchase as I don't plan to see that stylist again.
LOVED this product 5

Transitioning from global bleach, platinum blond. Started gradually going more dark gray after getting babylights done. Wasnt a fan of the highlights, and i really just wanted to leave my hair alone to let it grow. The constant upkeep of being platinum wasnt the best for my thin hair but was such a look at the time. This really helped tone even my natural hair to a darker, cool brown while turning the blond to a nice dark gray/brown. I would definitely recommend this over overtone. I did tons of research on almost every color-depositing/toning product out there specifically for a dark gray color. Overtone and every other one had tons of complaints of turning people's hair green because its so blue based. I chose brand in graphite because in the ingredients it listed a red color additive to help combat the green. Loved how my hair turned out, this will be my go to as i let my hair grow out. Sad that its only available online.
Revived my copper hair 5
soph from Tennessee
I've been searching for a product to revive my copper hair and this worked really well! I bought the shade red copper and left it on for about 15 minutes. Although it didn't get my hair back to the original shade of copper I had done at the salon, make it more vibrant so I will continue using it in between salon visits. It also made my hair very shiny and super easy to detangle, an added bonus. I'll repurchase again, but might try the regular copper shade next time.
Red works great on my red lowlights 5
Mjw from Ohio
I have light brown hair with fading red lowlights, and the red was great and really brings the color out again! I used it in the shower- just remember to squeeze your hair out good before applying, and it will stain your scalp if you're not careful.
grown out hair 5

used this on about 4 inches of hair on my ends that I bleached a few years ago. been trying to go back natural ever since. I'm 27 but have a naturally medium brownish/ grayish colored hair. I used chocolate and it gave a warm caramel tone to the bleached ends that fades into my hair.
Perfect for Blondes! 5

I've used Four Reasons line of products for years, they work for my blond & bleached hair fantastically. The Color Masks leave my hair soft and shiny, and with a visible positive change to the tone. Easy way to keep a cool blond actually cool!
Great color mask 5
Ninagmw from Colorado
I absolutely love this color mask. I have it in 'Latte' and it's a gorgeous light brown. I wanted my highlights to have a softer, warmer tone and this was it. My hair tends to grab all the red pigments and this is turning slightly warmer (not ashy) light brown also. I love that it's so fast and easy to use and it has a mild pleasant fragrance.
Highly recommend this to highlighted/bleached hair. Great company and safe ingredients!
I would recommend to all my blonde friends! 5

This product made such a difference after just one use! I can't believe how good the results are. It was exactly what I hoped for, it created these wonderful pearly tones in my highlights.
I love this productline from Finland, I've been a loyal customer for years. My hairdresser recommended these for me and I am such a fan. These colormasks work great and I used the blonde shampoo and conditioner and also the purple shampoo. Their blonde dry shampoo is also amazing!
I am so happy I finally decided to try this mask, my hair looks and feels great!
Amazing silky and shiny feel 5

I just tried the Four Reasons chocolate color mask for the first time. I didn't have time to leave it in for longer than 5 minutes but already amazed how my hair looked after, shiny and silky, even covering some gray roots! I love this product!
I love my Caramel tone hair! 5
Hanna from Seattle, WA
I chose a caramel tone for my blonde highlights, and I really love it. The color is so warm and sweet. The smell is neutral (I hate strong smells, so this is important to me). I left the product on for 10 minutes, and that made my hair soft, shiny, and so sweet like a caramel. ;)
Turned my hair orange 1
oli from New York
II bought this toner mask in "Toffee" after getting highlights that turned out a little too light/blonde on my naturally brown hair. I was hoping to use it every week in order to make my highlights a bit darker and more caramel colored. So I used this once after shampoo and not only was it very uneven but it turned random parts of my highlights orange. I had high hopes but unfortunately had to return it.

process is actually pretty quick, rinsing off can be a pain if you don't want to get in the shower again. the way it conditions hair after is so worth it.

Never have I ever had a product do everything it claimed as well as this! My dark neutral brown hair constantly fades at the ends to a lighter warm brassy brown. Wanting to stop dying my whole head, I gave this product a shot. It toned my hair perfectly back to a neutral/cool tone, while making it soft and shiny again!!! …now to test the lasting power.
Toffee is the perfect auburn 5

I have been on the hunt for something to keep my auburn highlights toned correctly but everything I try is either to red or too copper. This is the first product I'm re ordering because I've finally found the perfect auburn for fall.

I love this product so much! I use it once a week to keep a beautiful rose tint to my blonde hair. At my job I can not go full pink so this product is perfect💕💕 plus it leaves my hair so soft afterwards!! Will continue to buy!

Not sure if I just got a bad batch but the smell is absolutely horrific. Like makes you sick to your stomach. I noticed a slight difference as far as toning the brassiness in my hair but not worth having to deal with the smell. Pravana or Redken is still the best in my opinion.
Love this Copper Color Mask 5

I used this product when my copper color hair was fading. Left this product on for about 10 minutes and the color came back to my hair. I'm a lifetime customer now.

This did nothing for my hair, tried it out 3 or 4 times and left feeling like I wasted money on it.
