How To Use

Foam, rinse, and poof! How to #FOAMO: Hally makes it e-a-s-y. Pump up a good lather and apply Color Cloud all over dry hair. Relax for 30 mins, rinse, and voila!

Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Not for use in dying eyelashes or eyebrows. For topical use only. In case of severe burning or irritation, stop use immediately and rinse with water. Follow instructions to complete a skin sensitivity test before coloring your hair.

Not Bad, but Not as Simple as it LooksBought the Rose Gold color to put on my naturally dark blonde hair. I wasn't expecting it to come out perfectly pink on the first try. I once bleached my hair out, and I know how long the process can take. At first, my hair was light and warmer in tone, but no pink. I've done it for a second time now, and there's a note on the website about going back and using the rest of your head for an extra 15 minutes. My second time, I rinsed out the hair, dried it out (because you shouldn't apply color to wet hair), and did the extra step. The rose tones were actually more noticeable. However, I would like it to be pinker, but the peroxide will continue to lighten your hair another shade or two, and I don't know if I want it to be any lighter.... It's a real crux. Anyway, if you're expecting this to magically turn your hair like the pictures, you might be overestimating the power of semi-permanent hair color. This color is far less harsh, and it's kinder to your strands than traditional chemical processing. If you want to give it a whirl, I say go for it! Just don't create too many expectations around what the final result will be. That will only lead to disappointment.A Dye that Strips Existing ColorI love having pink hair, and I'm always searching for a shade of pink that I love even more than the last. I saw Hally in Rose Gold, it said it was safe for all hair types, and thought I'd give it a shot. I got my roots lifted after dying my hair vibrant pink with another brand, then thought I'd add the Hally to the roots for a nice touch of pink at the top and all over to see how the pinks mingled. Boy, did they. I applied the foam color, and to be honest I should have stopped when I got a whiff of it. The smell of alcohol was so strong I opened a window. But hair color stinks sometimes, so I applied and sat in the bath for the 30 minutes it took. As I rinsed it in the shower, I noticed my hair felt REALLY dry, which happens with color sometimes. I happened to look at a few stands that came out in the rinse and was alarmed to see they were light purple, with no hint of the near fluorescent pink that had been there before. Dye should always add color, never strip it away. I'm not sure what ingredients in this mix did that, but I was left with a goldish mauve and the bright pink was absolutely gone. But my biggest concern was the fact that my hair was completely fried. I have good quality products because I've been bleaching my hair (at the hair dresser) since 2017 but my hair was so dry from Hally, it was absorbing product off my hands like it was going out of style. I've managed to salvage my hair's condition with a couple deep conditioning procures and oils, but this product cannot be called safe for all hair types if bleached and colored hair doesn't make it through 30 minutes with it. In all fairness, I don't *hate* the color it turned, but this is not a product I can recommend or have any faith in.

Turned my hair green

I have salon pre lightned hair and my original toner had washed almost completely out. This is a similar color to the color I had. Followed the directions and it tuned my hair green. Now what do i do?

(4.5 stars) I have dark hair and knew it wouldn't show much, but, I am impressed with the results. Subtle and noticeable. Also non damaging! I have 3c-4a curls and if anything, this product helped define them. Had a great wash and go afterwards. Looking forward to repeating the process, super easy!

Didnt even get to use this product because the bottle exploded in my shower…not sure whats in this stuff but i definitely dont want to put it in my hair

Please do bit buy this, or at least avoid the Dake mode if you have light hair color!! I had blonde hair and wanted to try black and after looking, I found this brand and wanted to try it however, they do not specify that if your hair has a high porosity, it will not fade!! it's been four months, i washed my hair over 100 times I have used three bottles of expensive clarifiers and still, the color did not fade. I reached out to the company and sent them pictures of my hair they told me that because my hair is porous the color, wouldn't fade. I wish they would've made that clear before I purchased this product. Now I'm spending a fortune at a hair salon. To get my hair back to blonde.
