Most Helpful Positive Review Best hand cream ever! I searched everywhere this winter for a hand cream that would actually work to heal my horribly dry hands and I finally found it! This stuff is truly amazing and I can't get over how soft it leaves my hands! It really does leave a silky veil feel behind after you use it! Has a really nice summery smell to it too, I'm pretty sensitive to scents and this smells really pleasant!
Most Helpful Critical Review Acceptable. Not as moisturizing as I hoped I work with my hands using gloves and wanted something to prevent the gloves from chaffing in a few spots. This feels really rich and like it's going to be highly moisturizing at first when you're applying it. It absorbs really well and doesn't feel very greasy. I put it on before a shift and put my gloves on. Two hours later when I took a break and removed the gloves my hands felt a tad dry to me compared to other hand creams. Since I've been using it I get the same result whether using gloves or not. It's just not as moisturizing as I wanted. I have pure lanolin that I apply over lotion on my feet for extra moisture and I was hoping the cream would give me the same results but save a step (one product instead of two). Unfortunately this doesn't fit the bit for me. I'm keeping it because I'm trying to meet my Platinum spend requirement by the end of the month but if that wasn't the case I would return this.

My hands were so dry they felt like sandpaper, this product is amazing. After only two uses my hands already felt better. I've used it daily and you would never know I had hands like sandpaper. It feels great and smells great!
I would not purchase again 2
Luv2golf from Michigan
I would have to agree with some other reviewers in that this does not absorb well and is not long lasting after I've applied it. Will use it up but will not purchase again.
My favorite 5
Grey from Philadelphia
This is a very thick hand cream, not for those who like light, easily absorbed lotions. It leaves a protective layer of lanolin that helps when I am washing my hands a lot. It does dry down after a few minutes, it doesn't stay oily too long. I mix it with the golden salve at night for an extra boost of moisture while I sleep. I have bought several tubes of this and will always come back for more!
I love lano but not this 2
Val from Nyc
I love Lano's multipurpose balms products, they are a lifesavior, but their hand cream and their foot cream make my skin drier rather than moisturized. I will be returning this. I wouldn't recommend this particular product. I have cracked dry skin on hands and feet and am always on the hunt for products that can help. Based on my experience with the balm, I thought this might be good. But I was disappointed
Watch the dates! 2
Shopper from Jefferson City, MO
This product had an expiration date of 02/2020, I purchased it on 12/20/2020 in store. Didn't notice it until I was reading the box at home! It was very sticky and nasty feeling. I think manufacturers put a date on product for a reason. Should have been pulled off the shelf long ago!!!!
Love this - immediate moisture that lasts! 5
TJT from MA
This is an amazing moisturizer. It immediately leaves your hands feeling soft and looking great. I'm not sure I understand the reviews that mention a greasy film - not at all, I feel that this product does what others don't. It leaves a silky feeling that is not greasy. It also has a light scent that is pleasant, but not overpowering like many other moisturizers are.
Amazing! So yummy! 5
Camryn from Maine
This lotion is just amazing! It smells just scrumptious and moisturizes my hands like crazy! It's definitely very thick and takes a second to soak in which I don't mind and once it does you'll have moisture for a long time! Love this, especially for my dry hands due to being an artist.
Too thick 2
dandksmommy from Fair Oaks, Ca
I would not recommend this product. Although it does not have a strong smell, it is too thick and does not absorb well. I prefer the body shop for not only the fragrance but also fir its moisturizing capabilities.
10/10 Would Recommend 5

Personally, dry hands/feet is of the worst feelings. I bought this a year ago and have been going back for it ever since. It's a little tacky as you put it on, but it dries in just a minute and then my hands are softer than ever. 10/10 recommend this product just to keep in your purse or next to your bed!
Very moisturizing hand cream 5
Jess from Montana
I use this every night before I go to bed. I wake up with very soft hands in the morning. I also rub this into my cuticles, and this formula has completely alleviated my hangnails. The scent is lovely, too.
The best! 5
Ashley from Washington
I love the smell! It's not too strong which is nice. I frequently wash and sanitize my hands and this hand cream does a great job of moisturizing my hands without making them greasy. It's the best hand cream I've ever used for dry hands!
Ok 4

Is thick and you have to apply a decent amount for full coverage. Smell is too light. Wish it was heavier.
Doesn't smell as tropical as the 101 ointment 3
Amy R from Cincinnati, OH
I bought this because I am obsessed with the smell and quality of the Coconutter 101 ointment and I have very dry hands in the winter. Sadly, this cream doesn't smell like the 101; it's more of a cocoa butter/milk&honey scent. Not bad, just not what I wanted. It's also just okay at moisturizing my hands and for the price, I think there are better options out there.
I love it! And it smells good too! 5
Amanda from Arizona
Being a preschool teacher my hands can dry out fast, especially during winter but once I got this it instantly hydrated my hands! I love it!
Smells awful 1
mandymorty from Utah
I bought this even though one of the reviews said it smelled sour. When I put it on I was hit with this awful sour scent that was really strong. I returned it the same day. It's too bad it smells so funky because it was really moisturizing. I exchanged it for the slightly more expensive Lano Everywhere Multi-cream.
I have bought this again because IT WORKS! 5

It works great for dry hands. Makes them look younger too.
i would not buy this again 1

It makes my hands feel sweaty
Smells awful 1
Lauren from Lexington KY
I did not like this product. It was too thick and smelled TERRIBLE. Almost like a burned, sour smell. Returned the next day.
Leaves residue on hands 3
Rachel from Knoxville, TN
I saw someone post about this product on Instagram and thought I would try it. I do like the smell and it softens my hands, but it does seem to leave this initial residue until it absorbs fully. It isn't greasy though.
AMAZING 5

I'm really picky about hand creams, especially the scent and texture. THIS ONE IS AMAZING! It has a faint scent that's kind of like sweetened coconut with a hint of cinnamon. I don't really notice the scent unless I sniff my hands, which is exactly how I like my hand creams to be! But it smells insanely good, not like that intense coconut smell most body products have. It's very moisturizing and not greasy at all on my super dry hands. I am ordering several more so I can keep one everywhere- purse, car, nightstand, office, etc. I never want to be without it! Absolutely worth the price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Acceptable. Not as moisturizing as I hoped 3

Non-greasy and soft! 5
Skippz from Lancaster, CA
I have a job that requires alot of hand washing and use of gloves so with the winter season upon us I was looking for a great hand lotion that was also cuter than just the medicated ones. This was the best investment! It absorbs quickly and leaves your hands the softest you've ever felt. After 3 days of use I'd definitely buy more of this brand
All soft zero greasy 5
Mooneykinz from KS
This is the best hand cream I've tried. And I've tried high end to drug store. At first I thought it was ok but then it dried down and my hands seriously felt like silk. Not a single ounce of grease or tackiness. I will continue to purchase this!
Great hand cream 5
BBroad26 from KY
I wash my hands very frequently because of work, so my hands and wrist are always dry. This is rich but not oily feeling at all. Also has an amazing smell!
Serious Moisture for Very Dry Hands 5
Quality Seeker from Albuquerque, NM
This is the best hand cream I have found for my dry hands—and I have tried a lot. Its moisturizing power is unparalleled. It is slightly greasy until it absorbs since it is 98.59% natural, but that is to be expected and does not bother me in the least. I love its warm, earthy scent when I apply it.
Although pricey, I believe this cream is a good value when it is on sale. You only need to use a small amount and it is not necessary to apply it after each handwashing because it is highly emollient and forms a protective barrier. I hope this is a permanent addition to the Lano brand.
