Game changer for natural deo users!! Okay guys, lemme just say that this deodorant is amaaaazing!! If you are new to natural deodorant you need to give this a try, but stick with it. I am about 2 months into using natural deodorant, and this changed my life. I was really struggling and kept trying a new deo brand because I could not get rid of the stink. I would say I'm an above average sweaty person, but not to the point where I have ever needed clinical strength deodorant or anything. With other natural deodorants I tried, they would work decent during the day, but by the evening I had a stunk (some days worse than others) and would be super self conscious if I was stuck in public. I usually had to reapply at least once by the time I got home. BUT NOT WITH THIS!! I've been using this for about two weeks and it's amazing. It smells fantastic, applies smoothly, and wears all day. I do notice that at the end of the day if I straight up sniff my pitties there is a very slight body odor smell, but I actually have to smell the skin directly. I can't smell it through my clothes at all and I am no longer getting those whiffs of BO. I can't even tell you how nice it is to not have to constantly be worrying if I smell or how long my deodorant is going to last. Even on the days I felt sweatier while wearing this, I still didn't smell. I think that was my problem with other natural deodorants. Since they're not anti-perspirants, I would just sweat it all off. But even when I sweat with this, the smell stays gone. I am so pleased! I know everyone is different, but if you're on the fence give it a chance. I had high hopes since the reviews were so good, but low expectations because of my other natural deodorant experiences. But this worked so much better than I anticipated it would. Even after a really hard and sweaty workout, it keeps the odor away.

You guys, don't give up on the journey. I know it's really really frustrating when you feel like nothing works and you have to keep reapplying, carrying deodorant wipes, etc. But to detoxify takes time and it's not the same timeline for everyone. I know some people who got through it in a couple of weeks, and others who took months. When I was doing research everything said the so called "purging" phase would occur around weeks 2-3 and last about a week. I didn't start purging until around week 6 and it lasted closer to two weeks. Once you go through the purging phase it does get easier, but you have to be patient! There are products to make it easier. I suggest getting a mild / gentle scrub to use on your pitties either daily or every other day in the shower. This makes a difference, trust me. I use the Pacifica underarm scrub. Since I am sweatier, I needed a little extra oomf, so I started using a detoxing mask on my arm pits once a week. I first started with the Aztec Clay Mask since I already had it, but it's such a mess so I sought out the MegaBabe underarm mask. It's way easier to use. I didn't notice once worked better than the other, but the latter is more user friendly! Since incorporating a mask, I notice less sweat and less odor.
So don't give up!! I too thought that maybe natural deodorant "isn't for me", but it is for everyone! You just have to be patient and stick with it, trust me :)
just... no I had very high hopes for this deodorant. All the reviews were so good and I thought I had finally found an organic alternative to deodorant.
It was very sticky the second I put it on. It reminds me of those gel deodorants that squeeze up through the little holes in the top. Not a fan of those BUT I still wanted to give it a run.
It smells.... OK. people were raving over the smell of this product in other reviews so I was let down for a second time because to be honest.. its hard to even smell much at all. But expected with organic.
Still hopeful, I decided to wear it for the day, running errands and just moving around (in air conditioning for the most part)
Within 3-4 hours i just felt like I had sticky pits and I still could smell my BO. I hadn't even made it to the gym yet
GRANTED... I have very strong hormones and i feel like i'm just a freak about my deodorant and always aware of the slightest smell of my under arm.
I told my husband to try it, he is not a very smelly guy and uses TOMS because he has sensitive skin but we are not TOMS fans (because it doesn't work). On the plus, he didn't get a rash. on the down side... it just doesn't work.
It forms almost a thicker layer over your pit so when it came time to wash it off i had to legit SCRUB with the lufa to get that sticky layer outta there. I re-applied with my clinical strength Secret deodorant which always works and lasts all day, even at the gym!
Now i'm stuck with 2 of these sticky, useless sticks of "deodorant"

I was really excited to try this based on the reviews as over the counter deodorants haven't been cutting it. I was very happy the first 1-2 days, but after that I noticed I was getting irritation and it was becoming less effective. also, it would leave an oil ring on my vanity where it would "sweat", seeming as though the container wasn't sealed up properly at the bottom. good thing I only bought a sample size ...

If it's on sale I buy it in bulk! Feels soft and smooth on the skin. No oily or jelly residue. Smells sooo good. I am not a frequent sweater so I only need one application but that may be different per person. Cruelty free < 3
red rash and peeling skin, not for sensitive skin like me 3

broke me out in a red patch, made my skin peel like a sun burn, I had to reapply numerous times to keep the BO away, and the smell is indescribable. it doesn't have a scent, but has a slight scent. I wanted this deodorant to work, but the breaking my skin out in a red rash and peeling skin warrants a one star.

This deodorant is amazing, unlike the other "natural" deodorants it does not make you sweat and you smell good throughout the whole day. Plus, the coconut smell is not too much and is very light.
Painful red bumps 1

This deo immediately broke me out in large painful bright red bumps in my underarms. It was painful any time I moved and took a week to stop hurting. I don't know what's in this that did that but never again. Did it to my friend who bought hers at the same time as well.
