Scoop out product with the included spatula and warm between palms. Using fingertips, apply to dry skin gently massaging over face, neck, and décolleté until the balm has transformed into an oil. For eye-makeup removal, apply to closed eyes. Wet hands and continue massaging in circular motions until the oil emulsifies into a milky lather. Rinse with warm water or wipe off with a damp washcloth. Can be used alone or as the first step of your double cleanse, morning and night.
Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

I am completely honest, was petrified to try this makeup removal cream. I have the most sensitive and reactive skin. Have spent a fortune on skin care that promises, but just another product I wasted my money on. This works, everything it says it does it doe! Great oil based cleanser that removes make-up and won't overly dry your skin. It is a big jar which is nice as it will last a while. Very happy with my purchase.

I'll only ever use a cleansing balm as my face wash! So moisturizing, silky, and never greasy or heavy. My makeup comes off so easily! Plus, I love that there's no harsh fragrance either.

I've been using this since shortly after it came out and love it. It's removes the makeup and leaves my skin feeling really nice, and then I use the cleansing gel after as instructed. I do not use the cleansing balm to love my eye makeup as it burned my eyes awfully. Tonight I dropped my cleansing balm and the glass shattered in a hundred pieces. Obviously one of the selling points of RMS products is that they packaged in glass, so user be careful. It took about 30 minutes to find all the shards and big and small pieces and clean them off the floor. My jar was about 75% full and unfortunately it's ruined. The remaining jar was crumbling and falling apart, and a good possibility of glass being in the cleansing balm. Money and product lost, sadly.
