Most Helpful Positive Review Yes Okay, let me start of by saying Clinique you the bishhhhh for this one !!! I have very sensitive dry skin my chin is my biggest problem area . So i ordered this puppy ,I would of been very upset if it didn't work well since you're not the cheapest on market but I've loved everything else I've bought from you guys ! I'm not going to lie the texture felt like I was rubbing k-y jelly on my face ! ( I never touched ky jelly before but I can assume it would feel like this ) then it started to tingle a little it made me worry I almost washed it off but thank baby Jesus I didn't because after 4 uses my face wasn't looking so angry anymore!!!! So thank you I will definitely buy it again . Please don't change the formula ever!!!!
Most Helpful Critical Review Okay I have sensitive true combination skin - normal/dry in the winter and normal/oily in the summer but I also live in a dry climate (Phoenix) so face care is a challenge! Clinique generally does not cause breakouts or sensitivity to my skin. I like the hydrating jelly (the clear one) but I don't love it. For my upper cheek where I need a little more moisture, I have to put on something else in addition to this. It will get sticky if you use too much. It feels nice on, absorbs within a few minutes, and my favorite part - it leaves a gorgeous satin, not shiny, almost glowy finish. However, the cartridge is another story. I got the white one for uneven skin tone and I think it has pumped out twice in the almost 2 months of time I've been using this. Upon further review, it appears this is a common issue which is a shame. If I repurchase this, I will do so without the cartridge.

Pros - I have cystic acne and this is one of the only "affordable" moisturizers that will not cause/worsen a painful breakout. It does make my skin feel moisturized without feeling greasy. Actually soaks into the skin.
Cons- this is a VERY basic moisturizer. I have been using this stuff for most of my life (my mother started me on this as a teenager) and I can tell you with confidence that it does not do what it says it will for your skin tone. Yes, it's moisturizes. No, it will not help an uneven skin tone nor will it "repair your skins moisture barrier. If I skip a day, my skin is just as dry as it would had I never used moisturizer at all.
So to conclude, I really like this as a moisturizer, however it will not fix/help an uneven skin tone.

I have been using this for about a week or so and I haven't had any issues with it! I have very sensitive skin and I use CeraVe acne foaming cleanser for my mild acne (which is kind of drying my skin out) and I came across this and my skin looks so hydrated now! It looks smoother and more vibrant, I paired this with the even texture cartridge.

a litttttle drying on my skin but i bought it for the claim that it helps even your skin tone and that's exactly what i'm seeing after like 2 weeks of use so i'm loving this so far!

I have really dry skin especially around my jaw line. This moisturizer was ok during the summer when my skin is not too dry but now that it's getting colder my skin gets dryer and the jelly moisturizer does nothing for me. My skin still feels extremely dry after I put it on. Would not buy again, especially for the price.

So I have sensitive skin, also rosacea. I feel like it hasn't done much for the redness but it is fast absorbing and leaves skin super soft. I pair it with a cream I put this on first and I love how my skin drinks it in.

This seems to have broken me out and doesn't feel very hydrating. The formula is also a bit runny, so I use more to try to get the desired hydration.
I was disappointed in this product and won't buy again. 2

I tried this because the other Clinque combination moisture and even tone product I liked was discontinued. I need a good moisturizer and something to help smooth skin tones. This is not the solution! The moisturizer worked well but the cartridge didn't work at all. I won't purchase again and will have to look for separate products. Clinque is a great and has many great products - I use Clinque a lot - but this one is not one of those good products. Very disappointed.

I've had big red splotches on my neck and upper chest all my life, even when I have a tan all over this area stays red. When Ulta put this on sale for 50% off, I thought I would give the Japanese Angelica Root a try with the Clinique Clear Jelly moisturizer. It has really helped taken the redness away. I'm actually in a little bit of shock that I finally found relief from the red patches. Thank you so much.

I went to a Clinique counter in a department store to try to adopt a skincare routine. I bought this along with Clinique's other steps in it's official skincare routine. I went home and used all of the products as instructed and I broke out. I have had exactly seven pimples in my life aside from that and have never broken out. This was the first.
