Most Helpful Positive Review my one/two spots of monthly cystic acne are gone I wear the 30 SPF Clear Pore and it works better than any other SPF product I've tried (and I've tried them all including more natural products). The other ones always caused the occasional huge cystic acne and clogged pores, especially in my t-zone. This products seems to dry up a potential cystic acne and contain it to a minor blackhead that comes right out. I hope this is a product I can continue to wear daily. I worked for a few months at an outdoor job, very hot, very sweaty and it worked great. I used a light layer of mineral powder makeup over it. I wish you would do a night moisturizer with the same clear pore ingredients.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for sensitive skin 3 stars because it does not break me out like other sunscreens do, however my face is raw and red whenever I use it.
I do have sensitive skin but no other sunscreen has ever given me such a reaction before. I initially thought I must just have forgotten to reapply and ended up with a sun burn but after avoiding for a week and resuming use it's clear it's the sunscreen that is irritating. I will not be repurchasing.
Reviewed by 777 customers SO greasy feeling and burns the eyes 3

My face feels so gross after putting this on, like I haven't washed it in weeks. Pills up if you use any other product and stings my eyes like crazy!
Pretty good so far 5
Markie. from Tx.
This one doesn't give me a white cast or burn my eyes when I apply it around them. It isn't greasy either but it does leave my skin with a really pretty glow. I have very oily skin and I don't notice this making me any oilier or making me become oily any faster than usual. It also sits pretty well under makeup.
Meh 3
Jay99 from Wichita Kansas
This sunscreen will do if you're in a pinch but it's certainly not something I'd reach for on the daily. I have a light tan complexion and this leaves a slight white cast on me. It burns my eyes and it also makes my moisturizer peel which I hadn't experienced with my previous sunscreen. At least I'm fighting aging…right.
Nice, but pills 4
Laura from AZ
Very nice face sunscreen. Felt very light, not greasy. Didn't cause breakouts. No whitecast. Only con is that it pills a lot!
Great product 5

Great protection, not oily or greasy feeling at all
Very good product 5

My go-to sunscreen. I use it head to toe, because it is not greasy and therefore I don't feel hot and sticky when I wear it. I live in Florida and find that this works very well for my fair skin EXCEPT when I'm at the beach or on the water - I use the 50 SPF (or higher) for those times as the 30 isn't strong enough to prevent burning. But for everyday, working in the yard, etc. this works perfectly,
There's way better out there 2
EllessKay from Florida
This sunscreen is oil-free but feels very greasy anyway. It doesn't feel thick which is nice and is relatively lightweight. But this sunscreen would not work well when I would wear makeup on top of it. It would make my skin greasy and my foundation would be streaky and cakey. I think if you're just using it without makeup, it's okay. But there's way better sunscreens out there that are worth the investment.
Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 30 5

It's so important to protect your face against sun damage and skin cancer. Applying Neutrogena Clear Face is an easy step to take in the morning before going outside and facing the day!
Didn't make my face oily 4
Cindy from Fresno
It didn't make my face oily. I have t zone oily face. I just can't use it close to my eyes or it'll burn my eyes.
okay but drying? 2
lizzzzz from usa
this isn't the worst sunscreen i've tried but it's certainly not my favorite. i keep it in my car when i need to reapply but it's drying on my skin and just leaves a weird feeling that i don't like at all. it also pills. i'll use it up but i don't have plans on repurchasing. it also stung my eyes :(
My favorite 4
KK from New York
I find that if you blend it in well it doesn't leave a white cast, (but I also have fair skin so idk) Once you let it sink in it feels like nothing. The only problem I have with it, is it leaves your skin VERY shiny. Less of a "glowing effect" and more of a oily one. Doesn't feel oily just looks it.
my 3rd bottle 4
Sasha from Rialto
my go to every day sunscreen. it's moisturizing, doesn't break me out, doesn't pill & wears well under makeup. It does leave a slight white cast if you're applying the right amount of sunscreen but I don't mind when I'm just home & can't tell when makeup is applied. it also does sting your eyes a bit so be careful. I've noticed that I always seem to have a nasty taste in my mouth when I use it, idk how it's getting in my mouth but it doesn't taste good.
Caused horrible breakouts 1
Kris from NYC
I used this on vacation and noticed my friend also was using it. We both had the same experience -- horrible forehead breakouts. Large, painful red pimples unlike the small random acne I normally get. Took a week to go away.
Pills up too much 3
A from DE
The sunscreen is good, but I have oily skin and it's kind of greasy, and it pills up while I'm blending it, but it doesn't break me out.
Immediate pilling :( 2

I've been using a higher end fluid sunscreen and was looking for something less pricey, but this ain't it. I have really oily, sensitive skin, and try to steer clear of the super dewy finish products (my all-natural dewy finish takes care of itself within a couple hours ok lol), but have trouble finding matte/oily skin-specific products without dimethicone. This one does contain it, but it didn't feel too slippy on the back of my hand when I tested it, so I had high hopes. Alas, it was pilling up on my face and neck before I could even get it rubbed in to the point of not being white. I didn't put makeup on over it just because of this, and a couple hours later, it was feeling heavy and tight, and still pilling up and feeling gritty if I touched my face. I can't imagine sweating with this on. Yuck. I guess it's back to $40+ sunscreens and lots of blotting for me.

I have used this brand of sunscreen for many years. My plastic surgeon and esthetician have both recommended these products for myself and my entire family. It's great because our skin doesn't get burnt and we look a lot younger then we are😁
The perfect sunscreen 5
AJ H from Illinois
For many years I have been trying to find a sunscreen that is completely absorbed by the skin and does not leave a messy residue while still providing a high level of sun protection. I have tried dozens of sunscreens from all of the major brands over the years, and every one of them fell short, despite claims to being lightweight, non-greasy, etc. That is, until I came cross the Clear Face and Clear Body Liquid Lotion sunscreens from Neutrogena. These two sunscreens - one for the body, the other for the face - fit the bill perfectly, they are quickly absorbed by the skin and they leave no residue whatsoever. On top of it, they are reasonably priced when compared to some of the more high-end brands like Supergoo.
Good sun screen 3
Nad13 from Sri Lanka
I brought this recently. I wear this on my face and eye lids as it has high SPF and it will protect from tanning and aging. When applied, immediately it gives a burning sensation on skin and then within 5-10 seconds it goes. and then it feels very light on skin. It doesn't clog my pores. I purchased this as mineral sun screens and age shields give a white cast on my brown skin. I need to make sure whether it is safe using this on eye lids. Can some one guide me on this? I would appreciate if there was a Neutrogena sun screen specially developed for delicate eye area.
don't like much 2
Danielle from FL
I have a oiler skin type, clogged pores skin with a medium skin-tone, so you can get a good idea but I have used it for about two months and i can say no white cast and works into the skin pretty good but it's slightly burning to the skin in your eyes will water a little bit also it feels a little tacky on the skin overall I would say if you have it use it but if you don't, do not buy it.
Stings eyes for hours! 1
Mel from Illinois
This was my go-to sunscreen for many years. New formulation from 55 spf to 50 makes my eyes sting and tear for hours! I try to be careful with application, but if I rub my eyes then it's bad news.
Not Breakout free at all 1
Lamronbyhw from New Canaan, CT
Have used this twice now in the past month for facial sunscreen at daughters lacrosse tournaments. Both times I ended up with clogged pores / white heads all over my forehead
Love 5
Laura from AZ
I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and love it. It's very lightweight, not greasy. Great for my sensitive skin. Only downside is that it leaves a small white residue on the crease of my neck regardless, I still love this product.
Skin type: oily and sensitive 5
Jojojon from OH
This is such a great sunscreen! I have sensitive skin that is acne prone and this is the first chemical sunscreen I've been able to use. It really really helps with the sweat and oil I get with summer and it makes my skin look glowy. I did get some stinging around my eyes because my eyes are sensitive, so I just use a Neutrogena mineral spf around my eyes, and this one on the rest of my face and neck.
Very Irritating 1

Burned and irritated my skin. My face was red for days and peeling

Very nice sunblock, better than prior version, spreads/absorbs very easily without leaving skin oily. Great protection.
