I Love This Stuff!I purchased this because I wanted to try something new, and I was going to toss this in my gym bag. I have dry, aging skin, post menopausal skin, so I needed something to just get the sweat and grim off me after a workout. I was so surprised at how much I liked it, I'm now going purchase this instead of my usual $40 high end micellar water. I love it that much. At first, I was taken aback by the scent. It's a clean type cucumbery, herbal type smell, but it eventually won me over. This is a gem, and when I finish off my other brand, I will definitely be purchasing this product again. I'm also a prescription retinoid user, and this didn't sting or cause any other issues. It's definitely a keeper for me.Terrible ResidueThis L'Occitane Cleansing 3-in-1 Micellar Water was a major disappointment. I thought L'Occitane products were high-quality. I did not purchase this for makeup removal at the moment, as I'm not wearing any. I do however like to use a micellar in the morning to freshen up and remove moisturizer and sometimes serum from the night before. I made 2 passes with 2 cotton rounds. After dried, I could not believe how sticky face was! There was a very heavy, sticky residue left behind. I left it alone to see if it went away throughout the day, but it did not. As for the scent, it's not horrible, but not great. I like cucumber, and LOVE the scent off thyme. This smelled rather artificial. I hope to be able to return this for a refund or exchange for a different brand, as there is no way I will use this agaon.

Oooh, it smells soooo nice! I will use this everyday just so I can smell it, which is a very good thing because I can be so lazy about my nighttime routine. It's nice to have that little bit of encouragement to take care of my skin. Works great, removes all the makeup as advertised, too. I always follow with moisturizer since my skin is dryish to begin with. Highly recommended!

I was skeptical

I was skeptical of any and all micellar waters due to my past experiences with them leaving oily films behind. This didn't do that. It also didn't strip the skin either after using it to cleanse in the morning or in the middle of the day when I felt too oily. I wanted to give this four stars but I have no complaints! I also feel that for the price, you get a decent amount and it's just such a nice pleasant and refreshing product.
