Wow! Before I was using Chi, I've always used John Frieda since I was in third grade. It worked ok, but I wasn't impressed at all. When I got this flatiron today, it was a whole different thing! Its quicker to straighten hair, it heats up faster and so much more! If you are in humid conditions or anything, it will stay as lon as you want it to until you get a shower! My hair isn't as damaged anymore, my hair is more silky and smooth and I just LOVE it! ❤️ I recommend any Chi hair product because they will all work the same! It is worth spending!
NOT for me. I have pretty thin and wavy hair. This product only made my hair super frizzy and would not style it at all. Yes it left my hair soft but even with a slow pass on my hair it left it very frizzy and poofy. I literally looked like I stepped out of a hot sauna and my hair had poofed up everywhere. I have short hair and like to curve the ends inward to give it a nice effect. Did not even do that. I parted my hair and it's all over the place. Will stick with my P.Y.T flat iron. That's the best one I've found so far .

It doesn't pull your hair. My hair stays straight all day

I love this product, I did all my research on what heat setting is healthier for certain hair types and this one has it. love the red bag it comes with too.

It doesn't do it's job I bought it last year and it's horrible. I have thick hair & it's so frizzy it just horrible.

I bought this straightener when it was on sale for half the price and it worked good on straightening my hair but whenever I curl it, it's snags my hair on the sides and my hair doesn't slide off easy anymore. For some reason the the plates are kinda peeling off which is maybe why but I've had this straightener for 2 years now and it does the job but it take me more time and I feel like it's drying my hair now and even making it more frizzy than before.
Love to shop! from Gresham Oregon
The free Chi spray works great and is so smooth!!

This flat iron pulled my hair out, broke some of it, so it got returned.

Not as good as I thought it would be.

I have broken so many flatirons over the years. They simply fry out…and I've bought many that just kill my hair. I have returned and given away so many of them.
I've had this one since 2017. It's traveled all over with me. Still works just like the day I got it.
I love the multiple heat settings. I set mine @ 375 and it works with one pass. I have spiral curls underneath in the back and the rest of my hair is extremely wavy.
I use this with the WOW straightening spray and I can stay perfectly smooth for 3 days!
I have the 1 1/2" model and mine came with a cute red zip up heat resistant travel pouch.
Crossing fingers that it lasts another 5 years!
Chi straightener from Austin, Tx
Have had this straightener for a couple years now and still love it! I have very frizzy and poofy curly hair but this does the job on getting it almost perfectly straight. I don't even need to use the highest temperature to get my hair done. Highly recommend!

After 12 years it still works like new have never had problems with it we have the red one and it's still pretty it's just where it says chai is gone but it still does the job really great!!!

I bought the 1 1/2" chi. Better for longer hair below top of shoulders.

My daughter wanted it for her birthday and loves it.

This is my second CHI - my first still works but didn't have temperature control like this one has. This tool heats up quickly and gets really hot so be careful, especially if you have fine hair. It flows through hair so smoothly. It's super easy to get a little curl on the bottom, or a full Shirley Temple look. I've tried Hot Tools and HSI Professional, but returned both because of inadequate heat and dragging on the hair. CHI is the best straightener out there - no drag, quick heat, and the free heat protector spray is great.

I got this product and it worked wonderful, it stopped working after a year of use and customer service said they can't do anything because it's over a year.
Patty from NC
I would stay clear away from this purchase if you have fine, thin hair.
Alex from Greenville, SC
I love this so much! Came with a 2oz bottle of thermal spray and heat resistant pouch. Works well with little to no snagging. Such a great product for the price. I am very happy with my purchase.

I loved my hot tools, but they don't sell the one I like anymore. I went ahead and got this one because it got so many amazing reviews and I now see why! It heats up really fast. I take a shorter time straightening my and it leaves my hair silky smooth. I've never experienced that before.
Christine from Tampa, Florida
This doesn't heat up as much as any other flatiron that I've used. The edges constantly catch on my hair and pull when I'm using it. CHI quality seems to be very low and cheap. Very disappointed.

My daughter loves this! She has been using flat irons for some time, but this one she is thrilled with!

Been using Chi products for decades but first time with temperature control iron which is a nice plus. Appreciated the thermal guard sample and the thermal pouch as well. Mine came with a free mini iron which I will use when traveling.

Used it today for the first time and already loved it! I have the tendency to have frizzy hair. But using this brand I can see a big difference already!

You can choose the heat setting. I have straight hair so I usually use the lowest heat setting and it works wonders. I bought one almost ten years ago and recently replaced it with the same one. The old one eventually cracked but it lasted so long I decided to get the same kind.
