Highly impressed...just after one use! I very rarely write reviews unless I think something might be useful towards a product that might not state it in the description that would be useful to other consumers, or if it's to praise the customer service I received. I was so impressed by this product I HAD to write a review (after I text my mom, best friend, boyfriend and boss about it LOL). I grew up having clear skin, maybe would get a zit here or there due to hormonal changes, but never was a person who has had "acne"....until I was on a birth control that completely altered my hormones and I broke out the worst I ever have in my life and nothing has helped clear it up and my skin on my face and back Is now covered in acne scars from dealing with this for about two/three years. I have tried every acne regimen under the sun. I have seen 3 different dermatologists and actually about to be on "acutane" since no topical solution, antibiotics or oral hormonal treatment worked. During the pandemic we are under right now, I figured after seeing the reviews "why not try something new, if it doesn't work it makes it worse, who am I going to see?" So I got this mask, the cleansing bar, and toner. Being the time of the month my face is at it worst (never fails) I had three large painful cystic zits under my skin I have been battling with for weeks that would not shrink and have failed getting any relief from the pain. I finally received my anticipated order from ulta today and tried the new line right away. I used the cleansing bar, then the mask as the directions state. I sat down and folded some laundry while I waited the allotted time. When I went to rinse the mask off, ALL OF THE CYSTIC ZITS I HAVE BEEN BATTLING WITH FOR WEEKS CAME TO THE SURFACE! The first use! I also noticed some clogged and large pores I pretty much gave up on trying to minimize were NO LONGER VISIBLE. I followed with the toner and my face never felt so clean. This is the first thing to work with my acne I've tried, including treatments from multiple dermatologists, that's made any difference...and it was the first use! I am so excited to see what prolonged use of this line will do. After years of searching, trying, sampling, and losing all belief I'll ever have clear skin again (along with losing pretty much any ounce of confidence I had left)....finally I have hope.
Will Probably Not Repurchase This cleansing bar foams quite a bit which can feel satisfying but in my case led to dryness. After washing my face with this bar my combination skin feels very tight. Initially, it seemed to reduce some of the redness in my face overnight. It seemed at first like maybe my skin was clearing up. After a couple of weeks of use, I started experiencing dryness and skin flaking. I eventually chose to discontinue use of this product after experiencing this dryness and researching the ingredients in the product. The first two ingredients did not seem like the best ingredients for skin. This product may not have a horrible formulation, but with so many amazing products out there, I would rather use something that has really great ingredients for my skin, not questionable ingredients.

This has definitely helped control my breakouts. I use it every time I shower. For me it doesn't make my face feel tight and dry after using so I like that. Would recommend

I started breaking out on my face and my neck after I switched my birth control. I know how hard hormonal acne is to try and fix so I was desperate. I got this because of all the good reviews and I'm so glad it did. It really helped clear up my face and my neck. It doesn't dry me out either, which I love. I use it every night. It is weird using a bar of soap, I wish it was a liquid, but maybe that's why it works so good. Idk. I'll def buy again though

I'm 31. I've been managing hormonal acne for 10 years now. I've tried so many different products and I can say this is one of the best face washes I've ever used - as far as results/management. This really does help "control" the breakout, and it has reduced my overall breakouts by 80%. I still break out a little when my hormones spike from my period. I also use the Carbon Theory wet mask a few times a week. They are both my new holy grail products. Honestly, for the price I would 100% recommend you try this product and see if it works for you too!

This is a great face wash for when you're breaking out or your skin is feeling congested!! I was struggling with random breakouts and just overall clogged pores and began using this nightly. Pretty quickly, my face began to clear up. I have normal to slightly oily skin and have noticed a tremendous difference in my breakouts after using this for about 3 months.
