Most Helpful Positive Review Almost Perfect I raved about the coconut melt so much, my husband purchased each product in the line for me as a gift. First off, I will purchase this again. The texture is really velvety and as long as you can control yourself and apply the appropriate amount, you can avoid the pilling. It really does maintain moisture and can make a noticable difference when used correctly (notice a pattern here?).
It is almost perfect. Almost. It has a subtle, yet savory smell that gives me a flashback to the first Thanksgiving I ever hosted in my new home. It was a delicious meal but I am incredibly OCD about cleaning and I had to stand by helplessly while a well-meaning guest used a carving knife for the first time and sent flakes and chunks of turkey carcass across my obsessively cleaned kitchen... it's a good thing this is relaxation in a jar, otherwise that may be just a bit much to relive each time I use this, but I will get used to the scent the more I use it. It's not unpleasant by any means, just not something I would have selected for myself. The positive of not having any unnecessary chemicals far outweighs the naturally woodsy/savory scent.
I also love that this is a true CBD product. I've embraced the CBD in skincare craze, but thanks to this line, I've REALLY researched the products I've bought over the last few months and realized only a small handful out of them contain any true additional benefit of CBD. I do feel more relief to my muscles than I would just massaging in a standard lotion. I am also not a lotion fan due to how tacky it makes my skin feel after using. I can't stand a greasy or heavy feeling after using lotion, so I hardly use it. This, along with the coconut melt, absorbs without leaving anything behind, again, assuming proper application.
TL;DR - seriously wonderful, use sparingly though and it smells kind of like Thanksgiving.
Most Helpful Critical Review Peels and Flakes The smell is unique but fine. The texture is lovely. It's like fluffy and bouncy. BUT this lotion peels, flakes, like lint or something. It doesn't actually absorb? At first I thought I wasn't rubbing it in to let it absorb, but after multiple attempts, it still sit on the skin and then peels off - and gets literally all over the inside of my clothes. Even if used as a skin mask to wash off in the morning... it would still end up shedding all over clothes and sheets. It peels off so much, I doubt I'm receiving any hydration, etc. benefits. Cool product idea, but they need to rework it, so that it absorbs and doesn't peel.

I use CBD Body Butter all over my body. It is very moisturizing and smooth. It feels and great and has a wonderful scent! I love that the ingredients are all natural! I feel healthy using it. And have given it to friends to get them on the CBD Body Butter wagon.

My skin has never felt better! I have DRY DRY DRY skin. So DRY. This really did WONDERS. Absolutely amazed- new fav! Body butter an A+. Also loved the face lotion!!!!!!

So I bought the original version of this and left a review giving it one star.... that has 100% changed. Once I received the new version, I fell in love. It pilled like crazy before and just didn't work for me. Now I apply a generous layer and my skin feels great. I will say it can be a little sticky after application, and the not-so-great smell is still there, but my skin is amazing the next morning. Super soft!

The revamped formula is amazing and this is currently my favorite body butter. It smells great and goes on really smoothly after a shower (and dries quickly so I'm not just sitting there feeling greasy. Such a great product, I will definitely purchase again and again!

Use this almost every night before bed on the parts that ache. Helps me sleep. Also great during the day when my low back is flaring up. I love this so much I started buying it for family and friends.

I just got the whipped body butter with the new formula. What an improvement! It no longer leaves gunky white grossness on your skin, just soft and smooth body butter luxury! I love it. I think it would be doubly great with a lavender sent or something more relaxing than it's currently coco-citrus sent. Overall super improvement.

I use this product all over my body once a day and every single time I have used it, the product does not absorb into my skin, it dries up and creates little pills all over my body and I have to take a towel to wipe it all off.

I originally purchased the bundle but bought a second body butter to keep on my nightstand. I apply a little to my arms and chest at bedtime to help me relax. It's wonderful. It leaves my skin soft and lightly scented. Its my favorite body butter!

I really love the happy dance products and have turned my friends and family on to them. After seeing this was new and improved (I couldn't stand the smell of the old version) I bought this one hoping the 'spa like scent' would transport me to a place less cold and icy. While the scent is noticably better and I am actually using it now, there is still much to be improved in my mind, the other products smell great and I'm not sure why this one has a scent I can't get behind. The issue with pilling is gone - thank you!! - but I would be thrilled if the smell could be improved

I received a free sample which I was excited about since I've seen some decent reviews. I don't think I can get over the strong smell. I normally go for light scented or fragrance free items so I may be a little bias. The sample wasn't as creamy as what's shown in the picture but it does go on nice and smooth. I noticed some of my drier areas of skin don't feel as moisturized. I have sensitive dry skin and didn't receive any negative effects from the products which is a plus.

This stuff is amazing! I've been in pain for a month with a pinched nerve, limping around the house so I ordered the bundle. I tried the body butter today and it immediately made me feel better, invigorated even, and literally made me want to do a happy dance!

I love, love, love this body butter. I have an autoimmune system disorder that can bring about pain, fatigue, and a whole array of skin problems. This body butter, although a small part of my daily routine, has provided noticeable comfort. I slather it on, bask in the amazing smell, delight in how it nourishes my skin gently, while also providing full body relaxation. I would highly recommend to anyone on the fence about trying it!

Unfortunately, I have Migraines. If you don't have Migraines or know anyone who does, you may not know that there are several kinds. One type I have starts at the base of my neck with lymph nodes that swell and significantly add to the pain. Because I have to apply to the back of my neck, I used a face mask applicator. I did read some of the reviews & was very happy to see Happy Dance is making attempts to resolve any issues. However, there is still a pilling & peeling situation. This won't stop me from using it, but I do hope Happy Dance continues to improve the formula.

Honestly, not sure if I got a bad batch or something but it smells really strange. A great moisturizer that isn't greasy but the smell is odd. I thought it would smell like the hand cream, which I love, but this one for some reason didn't. Like I said - maybe I got a spoiled bottle! Everything else I ordered was amazing.

I love all Happy Dance products I have bought. This did not disappoint. Thick and rich and is amazing on my dry winter skin. Will buy again. If does have a little bit of an slightly odd smell but it is barely noticeable and if it bothersome you could and a drop or two of essential oil.

smells like cheap tequila 🤢 i received a sample of this so i don't know if it was just a bad batch but i could not get past the cheap tequila smell…however it was moisturizing

The Lotion is great, very moisturizing and a little goes a long way. It's done wonders for my keratosis pilaris. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the scent is not very pleasant. I will continue to use it but I wish it had a nicer smell.

I use this everyday, especially before going to bed. I love the smell and the absorption. Regarding the "pilling" that other reviewers refer to, it happened at first, but now that my skin is hydrated and smooth, it no longer happens. This is on my forever list.
