Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent but a little sticky I believe this is a new product because I've only just started seeing it around. I was lucky enough to find it on a BOGO special so picked up two and am glad that I did. I've avoided the Age Defying SPF30 bevause of the chemical sunscreen, and to my knowledge, this particular package doesn't contain the same chemicals (which usually make my eyes tear up madly; my eyes haven't been in despair recently, so I imagine it isn't in this line!). Directions say to “apply liberally,” and I do, but I'm also left with a white sheen all day (which I don't mind, as I am already exceptionally pale so it actually corrects for any redness on me :)). I'm sure if I used a little less liberally or used under makeup, the white sheen wouldn't be a problem, but it is a little sticky, so I'm not sure how it would behave under makeup. HOWEVER, I humbly request that Andalou Naturals does NOT change the formulation of this sunscreen (unless they find out it doesn't work) because I LOVE it despite what others might consider “flaws,” and the biggest sell for me is that it doesn't seem to contain the sunscreen chemicals that make my eyes sting and water. Please please please keep doing this as a Zinc only sunscreen with the added benefit of hemp oil and all the other wonderful plant-based additions found in your products!
Most Helpful Critical Review I Don't Think Most People Would Like This This is great if you: are pale, have very dry skin, don't mind a heavy and greasy sunscreen, aren't sensitive to citrus oil and don't need your makeup to last very long. I fit that description, so it's okay with me, but I don't wear it when I have to wear a mask, because I know my makeup will transfer badly. I don't know why it says it is "sheer and lightweight" on the tube. It is neither of those things. That said, I don't dislike it. I just think there are a lot of reasons why people may not like it.

this product always makes my skin look better if its feeling dry or breaking out. my doctor recommended using zinc lotions like this on my skin because they are moisturizing and healing. zinc is also what causes this lotion to leave a white cast, but i cover it with makeup. it sits really well under foundation and powder.

This is an unctuous white lotion that does not disappear if you rub it in or let it sit awhile. I had to go wash my face before going out because the white cast was just so noticeable. This is not good for a daily facial moisturizer with SPF. I created an account specifically so I could bring the rating down on this one.

Yes this product has a white cast and it definitely shows up on my medium skin. I cover it with powder and it does just fine under makeup. This sunscreen is AMAZING for my skin and improves its look and feel. When i get pimples this makes them disappear by the next day! My skin is usually very oily but using this product everyday has made it normal and even in tone.

i was really excited to try it because i'm a big hemp fan and it's not bad it gets the job done but definitely leaves a white cast (i'm very fair skinned so it doesn't bother me that much) and has a really greasy like texture i'll use what i have but probably won't buy again

I've had this product for some months now and I've only used it a handful of times. I have a medium-tan complexion, this product shows up really white on my skin and then settles in with a purple tint, even when I was at my lightest in the winter. When I wear a facial covering, you can't see the obvious pale color and when I combined it with other products, it's not as obvious after letting it sit for awhile. I would never leave the house barefaced with this product on

I love most if the products in the cannacell line but this is one I don't think I'll repurchase. It's too thick and leaves a VERY white cast on your face. This didn't work well under makeup, which is what I wanted it for.

I'm fair skin so I usually don't mind a little bit of white cast. This stuff however was impossible to blend in. I felt like I was putting on a white face to go perform as a clown. It was terrible. I've never returned a sunscreen before but there's a first for everything.

Don't really like the cap, unscrewing it every time with slick fingers isn't fun. Good protection against the sun, but kind of hard to rub in. I have olive tan skin and I always look pale even after excessive rubbing in.

no matter how much i blend it in or let it sit before makeup, it pills up and rolls off. it's really thick, super white, and doesn't blend in very well either. the smell is weird too.

This product is okay at best for the price. It is NOT SHEER or LIGHTWEIGHT. It's a little greasy, it's thick, and leaves your skin a little lighter in color.
I have fair skin, my face gets dry during the winter, and I don't use foundation (so I don't know how this sunscreen hold ups with it on).
For these reasons, this is an okay product for ME.
If you have a darker complexion or oily skin I don't think you will like this product.

I loooove this sun buddy face lotion formula! The texture, consistency, the fragrance, all of it is amazing! Sun Buddy leaves my face soft, moisturized, and glowing! It does have a white cast but that melts away as it gets absorbed. Also, I have sensitive skin and this doesn't break me out!

I bought this sunscreen after it was recommended to me by an esthetician but was super disappointed by the product. It does not absorb easily, so I can literally feel the product just sitting on my skin, leaving a bright white cast on my face. The smell is also awful and it gets worse throughout the day as it mixes with my body's own natural scent. Would not recommend. There are far better sunscreens out there for the same price.

A great daily product that combines sunscreen and moisturizer. I have oily skin and live in a humid climate, and found that this product is a bit too heavy to use under makeup. But if you don't need to layer too many products, this is a great face lotion.

Unfortunately the product went sour smelling within 3 minutes. Attempted contacting company on multiple occasions without any response. Such a bummer i love all of the other products in the Cannacell line but this was awful.

Was looking for something without the standard harmful sunscreen ingredients so I went to this one. The white cast is annoying and seems like your rubbing diaper cream on your face but it does the job just be sure to cleanse your face to avoid product build up and i havent had any issues breaking out.

I hate using thick sunscreen and this is one of the few that has not given me more problems to deal with! Please don't change the formula, Andalou (praying...)...I have acne-prone, combination/sensitive skin and am in my thirties.
