This is a great product IF you don't slather it on. I use in the evenings. First, I remove my eye makeup with wet n wild under the sheets makeup wipes or coconut oil. Then, I remove my face makeup using the Avant Biphase Micellar Water. I next cleanse with an acne wash with a 2.5% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, and tone with a toner that I buy from a natural skincare company that's composed of apple cider vinegar and herbs. I apply my retinol treatment and let that dry, waiting about 1 minute before moisturizing with the Boscia cactus Water moisturizer.... I then pat, not rub, this moisturizer into my skin. I pat it lightly onto all areas of my face and neck...less is more. You need to start with a pea sized amount and if you need more, add it. This gel moisturizer contains a LOT of really skin loving ingredients and it may be thick and can be tacky if it's gooped onto your skin. Using sparingly and pressing or patting into my skin, I find the slight sticky sensation it leaves behind disappates in less than a minute and find there to be no pilling or build up. You can also use a thicker layer as a sleeping mask.
I am all about water based moisturizers. I have highly porous and oily skin, and experience all 4 seasons. I first fell in love with the Belif aqua bomb moisturizer, love the smell and consistency. Of course I am open to new things and heard a lot of hype about this product. So I was willing to try, I don't care much for "vegan" ( I love honey) but I do like natural and plant based things, especially for hair and skincare. Sadly it doesn't like up to the expectation. First thing I noticed was how sticky it was. Then I noticed how it sits on my face and doesn't absorb... even in the next morning. It's like a mask, it's really weird. I'm just going to stick back to my belif moisturizer, it's the same exact price, the smell is great and it's absorbs into the skin. I'm sorry to give this a bad review, but for this price it's not worth it.

My skin feels refreshed and moisturizer without being oily or heavy. I battle with acne and this does not make me break out ever! It is also very calming. Sometimes my skin feels a bit irritated from my acne creams and this seems to help with calming redness.

Ive finally found THE ONE. The moisturizer that was created for me. Ive received many compliments that my skin improved and I feel it too. It hydrates and glows my skin. I dont use it in the morning because it rubs against the makeup though.

I have sensitive skin and its really hard for me to find a moisturizer I like, this one is light weight on the skin

I was a firm Dermalogica skincare user but didn't like their new formula. I never heard of Boscia but received it in a sample jar and loved it! I purchased this moisturizer and never went back to the other brand. It silky, light, gel like & absorbs great. My only con is that it is tacky for the first 10-15 mins but then it goes away. I realized the more water I drink the less the tacky feeling last after applied. Highly recommend

Super sticky gel like moisturizer , might be better for oily skin idk , doesn't play well with certain things tends to pill and smells funny

Use this instead of Lineage line since great peptides in it.

I googled good dupes for tatcha's moisturizer, and this Boscia moisturizer came up. I found this to be very different. You only need a little, but it leaves a very sticky film on my skin that I don't like personally. I also feel like my makeup doesn't apply as well when using this moisturizer. Overall I think this would be good for someone with very dry skin who is not bothered by stickiness/tackiness.

I am 39 and have always had a pimple or 2 on my face..
I started using this amazing moisturizer from the past 6-7 months and those regular pimples have reduced significantly.
I am so thankful I stumbled upon this light, effective moisturizer!
I regularly use this and am ever thankful!

I love this product. It's a little sticky only downside but leaves my face smooth and fresh

I've been using this for awhile and every single time it will ball up after using any other product. I've tried multiple primers, foundations and setting sprays and always same effect.

I have really oily skin and have been trying different products to help with my skin type. I have been using the same cerave face wash for oily skin but I have had trouble trying to find a moisturizer that feels right for my skin. I have tried a couple of products and when I got recommended this product I tried it and it seems to be helping with my skin. I wash my face about 2-3 times a day and I apply boscia after. I had a huge break out on my forehead before and woke up everyday with oily skin. I wanted to use a product where I apply it any time of the day and it makes my skin feel moisturized. Once I used this my skin had cleared and it even seems to help with sun burns on the face.

Just used the slightest bit, it pulled up all over my face.

I really like this moisturizer, it has never pulled before like some of the reviews are saying, so that may be hit and miss. I have used this after cream cleanser and spray essence, after a tea tree night mask, and after micellar cleansing water and never got pulling. I like the texture and the way it absorbs especially at night after some sunshine.

I really wanted to love this moisturizer. It has a lot of promises and "cactus water" just sounds like it would be amazing for your skin!! Unfortunately though, this moisturizer pills SOOOOOO bad!! Worse than anything I've ever tried before. I came back and read the description again, and laughed at the part that says it's great for priming skin before makeup. No way! That's the last thing I'd ever use this for….. it truly pills like CRAZY!
kaylee from tennessee
quite possibly the worst moisturizer i've ever used. balls up if you use any other skincare products. no moisturizing factors either.

I loved using this for my oily skin, but after a while I noticed my skin and makeup was pilling. I couldn't figure out what it was, but when I stopped using this for a few days I noticed such a positive difference. Don't be deceived by this product.

Works well as a moisturizer on combination skin.. and also works great as a tacky primer, depends on how you want to use it..

I don't feel like I got any moisture out of this. Whenever I'd put it on it didn't really absorb, just felt quite sticky. I would rather have a moisturizer that is creamy and blends in better.

This is for oily skinned folks, definitely not Emollient enough to work with a dry skinned individual. I use it after cleansing, putting on some toner typically an Apple cider vinegar toner that restores my skins pH to a healthy level, I've been pat on my hyaluronic acid serum ( also I alternate serums: some days I use a niacinamide serum, some days I use an exfoliating AHA/BHA serum) and after waiting for the hyaluronic acid serum to sink in nicely, I'll combine one pump of an organic hemp seed oil from acure with a small glob of this boscia cactus water moisturizer…I have use this moisturizer on its own and it is kind of uncomfortably tacky, but when I mix it with a pump of the hemp seed oil it becomes a lot more enjoyable to put on your skin, it's not as much of a sticky uncomfortable sensory experience. My skin looks really glowy and nice after combining this with an oil on the back of my hand and gently rubbing and patting it on…I don't experience any pilling that way, and it actually looks good with make up on top of it the oil doesn't start to break down your make up early like it does if you use an oil on its own under your make up if you have skin like mine. I have very oily skin with dehydrated dry flaky spots. I just had a find a way that I could use this that works for me personally

I had really dry legs and I had tried everything to help clear up my dry skin. I stumbled across this product actually at Cosfco and decided to try it. With only 2 uses of it on my legs, my legs cleared up. I was in literal shock that it actually worked. This was the first product I've tried by this brand and now I'm hooked!
LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! this is for certain a 5 star product. I have acne prone skin and it's the only moisturizer I can use without breaking out. It sinks into my skin and gives it an overall dewy glow. I use it after cleansing.
It's pricey (which is what I don't like about it) but I still give it 5 stars because the product itself is wonderful! Also, you don't need to use a lot on your face.

This product is gentle enough to get really tight around the eyes but still packs a punch with moisture. I use it everyday, but layer a litter more on if I have extra dry spots, or a sunburn, etc. Love it!
This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. It hydrates without clogging my pores. I use it during the day with the vinegar toner and they work great together. I also like the way it makes my skin looks, neither matte nor shiny, just a healthy glow. Definitely try this if you have problem skin.

I was looking for something that wouldn't make my face feel oily. I finally found this moisturizer. This went on smooth and absorbed fast. Here's a hint a little goes a long way. If you use to much your skin will feel sticky for a few minutes until it absorbes all the way.
i love the smooth gel texture & it smells pretty good. it really does what it says, kept my face moisturized all day!
