How To Use

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor.

Great formula & protection; lightest tint too darkI have been using the original Australian Gold tinted face spf 50 for a few years (when it only came in one tint). It is an excellent product that truly protects from getting any color even with prolonged sun exposure and wears like a dream. However, I always felt it was a little too dark/orange for my fair skin but just dealt with it because I haven'd found another product that compares. I was so excited to try this new formula and tint for "fair to light" skin, as I am very fair with cool undertones. Sadly, while the formula is still great, the tint is too dark for me and actually oxidized to an orangey shade in the sun! My husband asked me what was wrong with my face, as it was several shades darker than my neck. (see photo) I was shocked when I looked in the mirror after going outside for a walk - I looked like an oompa loompa! Please, please consider adjusting the tint for your fair skinned customers - I have never found such a great and easy to wear formula, but that tint is just awful.This shade too light, next shade too darkSo I really wanted to like this product given its ingredients and company values that align with mine....BUT as their shade range is extremely limited they do not have a tinted sunscreen for me and my skin tone. I have a hard time color matching bc (even by make up artists) my skin looks like it needs lighter shade than it is. Most of products are usually called something along the lines of deep-tan/dark-tan. Rather unfortunate bc this product has great reviews and seems like a great product. But it is not very inclusive of varying skin tones so oh well. I will attach a picture of my self so people with similar skin color can make a more informed decision. Also, my ethnicity is Native American and Portuguese if there's anyone looking at this product that might have a similar skin tone due to heritage. Would definitely give it another shot if there was more options that catered to more varying skin tones!!

Only 4% of zinc oxide and 4% of titanium dioxide does not add up for an spf 50. Purchased, was good and very thick but concerned with actual spf protection.

Im extremely pale, so finding a good tinted spf is already hard. I've bought several different more expensive sunscreens, like the elta md lightly tinted sunscreen or the neutrogena uv tint in light, but this one is superior to both of those. With the neutrogena my eyes would burn constantly, and for a higher price the amount of spf/ product was absurd. It was only 30 spf and there was a very small amount of product, meaning you'd likely run through it rather quickly if using the proper amount. The elta md tended to pill and i did notice that it was orange on my skin still. I have no had any of these issues with the Australian gold tinted sunscreen! My eyes dont get irritated from it, it creates a blurring effect on the skin, haven't had a white cast from it, the tint isn't orange, and you get a really good amount of product/ spf protection. I havent broken out from this product, which is also an issue ive had with other sunscreens. Overall, this is a wonderful tinted spf and is amazing for pale complexions!

I like almost everything about this. I switched to mineral sunscreens a while back and this was the first one I bought. I love the price, and surprisingly it blended into my skin without looking orange. It hits all my boxes as far as mineral, price, cruetly free, and sustainable packaging. However, for proper skin protection you have to use a good amount of sunscreen. This stuff is just sooooo thick! And I feel it all my skin all day. Like my skin just feels this heavy layer literally all day. No it doesn't look thick, but it sure feels like it. I can't do it. In Texas it is extremely hot and muggy and my face just feels clogged from this. It does not break me out though!! For this reason, unfortunately, I won't repurchase and I'll just have to spend a little more.

I live in an extremely sunny region where sunscreen is pretty much required. This is the only sunscreen I've ever tried that doesn't make me break out or look totally shiny. It's amazing!!

Non greasy, waterproof, no breakouts.

I love that its non greasy, and blends easily. Didnt make me break out. My skin tone is medium to tan but that was too orange for me so i went for fair to light and it didnt leave a white cast. Its water proof so it could be a little harder to take off without a good cleanser or micellar water.
