This product - formula, shade, everything, took my makeup/foundation look to a whole new level of "as close as I can get to) perfection! I have extremely fair skin, but it actually is possible to go too stark & light. I mix this over a layer of BTW liquid foundation (& a couple of shades of the multipurpose concealer) - dust with the pore perfect powder - of course starting with the plumping primer before anything else - then setting my foundation & concealer with the BTS translucent setting powder. It's truly a match made in heaven - & PERFECT color match! It took a bit of tweaking & experiments, obviously a mix of a lot of products, but the end result it TOTALLY worth it! I'll never even consider trying anything else! Skin is beautiful - even in mid-to-late 40s. Perfect canvas to start sculpting (with my favorite Too Faced palette) & confine on from there. THIS WAS THE ONE PIECE THAT PULLED EVERYTHING TOGETHER THOUGH - without it, TOTALLY different look/results. I'd say, unquestionably a MUST HAVE & I'm not sure about the "official " advice, but if you need a little more coverage & don't want to look too cakey or shiny, THIS is the product for you! (& while I'm here, I think I'll order a spare/backup!) I know that sounded like a lot of stuff & really involved - but if you're a true glam girl - you KNOW how hard it is to get everything JUST RIGHT - & once the formula/steps are figured out, it's a breeze & doesn't seem to take much extra time for applications. Instead of trying to fix or perfect certain spots & consuming additional time - this will get you good to go without the extra guess work - & frustration!
It's junk. I'll admit I was partial to Amazing Face powder foundation back the day. Then TF discontinued that in order to go gimmicky with the Cocoa Powder. Okay. I dealt with it, I moved on, and eventually grew to accept it. Apparently, since cocoa is no longer part of their gimmick, they've replaced it with this mockery of a powder foundation. I made the mistake of trying it one morning before work. I should have known something was amiss when - instead of blurring pores - it exacerbated them ten-fold. I'm not kidding. Pores I didn't even know I had were like, "Hey! look at me!" Two hours into the day, I was nearly crying because the powder (which has NO mattifying properties that last more than five minutes) had mixed with my facial oils and caused what essentially looked like pancake batter on my face. All I wanted to do was go home, wash it off, and start over, but my day did not allow for that. Luckily I had no meetings and just kept my head down in shame for the next six hours. I would return this but I'm honestly so ticked off and annoyed I don't even want to put the time into doing that. Hey, TooFaced: staples (like foundation) don't need to be part of your marketing gimmick. They just need to be good. This, however, isn't even passable. I'd give it zero stars if I could. The title of my review stands. It's junk.

This is the product that took my makeup game to the next level, i cannot begin to tell you how flawless and skin like my makeup look when i use this, i use it to set my liquid foundation and add coverage in the shade sand, which is a perfect match for me! And the packaging omg! The cutest i have ever seen! Im so glad i gave this a try , will be a staple in my makeup bag from now on! Im surprised it has some low ratings , it didnt oxidize on me either. Try it!!

Love this foundation so much! Amazing coverage all on its own, I apply with a stiff kabuki brush in patting motions and once set with a hydrating setting spray it wears so wonderfully throughout the day! Only gave 4 out of 5 stars because it doesn't hold up with with any form of water droplets, so I wish it was a bit more waterproof but it never claimed to be that anyways!!

I have been trying to find the correct shade and coverage for years. After watching Jaime French, I decided to come back to Born This Way and try the pressed powder foundation. I ordered "Seashell." It has pink undertones. Lo and Behold- it's perfect! I get a beautiful matte finish that stays even in Minnesota humidity and lets my freckles show through. My only complaint is that it settles in my left marionette line; but everything does. I just give it a slight brushing. I'm hooked. XOXO

It's good coverage, I think it would be good if you didn't have a lot of texture or dry spots on your face.

I'm 40 years old & not to sound conceited but I have pretty decent skin. But I am getting older & liquid foundation just wasn't cutting it, at least for me. I've found that concealer & this powder foundation is just right for me. It feels light & natural but the coverage is great. I apply it with the sponge provided in the compact.

This powder formula has impressive buildable coverage that blends into my skin. Not like most, which just sit on top of your face, giving you that not so nice dried out and "in desperate need of a moisturizer" look.

Then the product itself is exceptional. It a foundation, setting powder and oil blotter all in one. What more can you ask for. Easily convenient to carry in a purse. No spillage at all. I've never wrote a bad makeup review. But have to for this product bc this one takes the cake. Literally. Cake face. Gross. I used to LOVE the Cocoa Powder Foundation. I bought it by the boat load for like 10 years. I bought this product bc I figured if they changed the formula it must be an upgrade. I couldn't have been more wrong. If I could give it negative stars I would. What a waste of money. I'm not even going to give it away bc I would be ashamed of myself for making someone look so bad. In the garbage it goes. Super cakey, over pigmented (light shades appear much darker on skin) and doesn't cover anything or go on even at all. If you use it on moisturized skin it looks like you've wet your skin and threw dirt on it, if you use it on unmoisturized skin it sticks to all the dry spots and blemishes but not any smooth parts. Gross all around. I'm searching for a replacement and I think MAC Studio Fix Powder is as close to the old Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation as I can find.

First of all I must preface this for all of you who may not beleivers in Jesus. I sing on a worship team at my church every Sunday at my church. I am under lots of lights, High Definition Cameras and this stuff looks great under all of that even with all of that going on without another foundation just a primer underneath and setting spray I do not have to touch it up between services, of which I sing at 3 on a sunday morning which is amazing, since before i was wearing primer a layer of powder, foundation, powder, and a layer of setting spray. that has elimitated all of that hot mess. Less time in the bathroom is a plus for me. Now if you could only come back with that lipstick that does not budge I never had to touch up I would be a happy happy woman You don't carry it anymore. Bring it back! .I love the mascaras by the way simply faboulous, It even lasts though crying which I am very prone to do.

I love this powder so much. I use a collagen based moisturizer, then the watermelon serum from glow recipe. After everything dries down for a minute I apply a light dusting of this powder all over my face. It makes my skin look blurred and soft!
