Fair Skin Review
I'm a fair-skinned white woman with blonde hair and light eyes, and let me tell you… this is hands down one of the BEST blushes I have ever owned! When I was looking at the blushes in store, the sales associate kept trying to direct me toward other brands. I'm not sure if it was because this brand seems to be marketed more toward women with deeper complexions, but I'm SO glad I went with my gut and bought Volume 1 anyway. The pinks are absolutely GORGEOUS on my fair skin. They give me the prettiest, youthful flush and have quickly become my go-to shades. I saw some reviews saying the colors looked "clown-like" on fair skin, but you really just need a light hand! Start with a tiny amount and build it up. These are pigmented, which is a GOOD thing. I don't reach for some of the deeper shades quite as often, but when I do, I use them higher on my cheekbones, closer to where I would normally contour, and they're beautiful there too. So, fair-skinned ladies: do not pass this one up just because the shades look bold in the pan! I love this blush so much that I just purchased a couple of the brand's lip glosses during the Beauty Steal sale. I can't wait to try them! 💕
Please don't buy
Is the pigmentation great? Sure. But can you create any degree of dimension or gradient? No. Once its on your face, good luck blending it out. Your entire face will look pink or youll have to start all over again. I wish i had never purchased this.
Shame on the Previous Reviewers
I rarely leave reviews for Ulta products but the negative reviews for this product from white women is unacceptable. So so so many products are created with exclusively fair skin in mind that darker individuals can not wear at all. Do you see us leaving reviews on those? No. It is no secret that Juvias Place is a brand made For Us, By Us and their products are intensely pigmented so ALL shades can use them. How sad that you come and leave negative reviews for a product that you can quite literally swatch in-store if you weren't sure. And if you didn't like it, return it or gift it away to someone else. It's that easy. Anyways, this product is another banger from Juvias Place with intense, pigmented blushes that show up beautifully on the skin. This has completely replaced all of my powder blush, bronzer and highlighers palettes. The price is also fantastic for the amount of variety that you get. 10/10.
Absolutely perfect
This blush palette is absolutely divine. It is super pigmented so you only need to put a little bit and it last for such a long time. And it's buildable and it's just overall a perfect pallet. I definitely would recommend.
Forewarn
If you are very fair, this will not be for you. I'm a medium complexion caucasian women where volume 2 (lighter) was still too dark for me. There are only about 3 of 8 shades i can wear without looking like a clown. The lightest pink and bronzing color work for me. I might use some of the darker colors as eyeshadows. 😩
