I like this Cover FX blurring primer. It applies easily and smoothly and preps my skin for my foundation. There is color in the product but it does not color the skin...only mattifys. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the packaging. I had been using until I couldn't squeeze out more. I cut the tube in half to scrape out the remaining thinking it would be a tiny bit. It turns out it was plenty. So I scraped out and put in a jar I had on hand. It filled this .50 oz jar. About 1.5 inch tall jar. Im going to try to attach a picture. Too expensive of a product to waste this much due to packaging.
Pros: it *really* mattifies, it blends very well, and it lasts a lot longer than Benefit's Porefessional.
Cons: it still only lasts about four hours before it's left you looking even more textured than before, and it didn't smooth things out that much to begin with, and it costs a ton. ZERO scent.
Still going to keep trying, just in case it was user error, but I had this same problem yesterday when the makeup artist tried it on me. I suspect it just doesn't work very well for everyone, and that's a hefty chunk to spend on a gamble.

Love the results. I use it under liquid foundation and it gives a very soft, natural look that doesn't look like a SnapChat filter. I do recommend a translucent setting powder and setting spray to maximize results.

I was losing confidence due to one nasty under eye crease. Using this product in combination with some
hylouonic serum in that area seems to make a huge difference. I feel like myself again.

It is a small container and pricey

I have used primers before that have left my face feeling dry and difficult to apply foundation evenly. This product has been a wonderful addition - leaves my face silky smooth allowing the foundation to be applied with ease. The finished look is flawless skin using LESS foundation! Love it!

The texture is super dry; not impressed.

Nice and creamy and goes on well, ends a little mat on me so I'll probably try the dewy one next.

I like the blurring primer bc it gives my makeup something to stick to and I feel like my skin doesn't absorb the foundation. It goes on easily, looks good, and best of all I like that it doesn't have as many chemicals that many of the other primers may have. The base helps the foundation achieve the coverage that is desired.

It goes on matte, and my make up adheres to it well!

This primer is tinted...almost a dark brown. I didn't know this and while it didn't necessarily provide a lot of coverage, it did change my skin tone before applying my makeup. I will use the remainder but won't buy it again.

This primer is nice but wish it could control oily shine longer.

I Love CoverFX Blurring primer + Pore Minimizer I am 76 years old and I do have pores especially on my nose. I use ELTA 45 oil free sunscreen. My sunscreen works well using this foundation primer. Don't over do primer (pilling) After waiting for sunscreen to absorb I then put the primer on my finger tips and pat on to face and wait a few minutes. I have wrinkles and pores and it works to smooth everything and looks fantastic and last all day. For me it's the best I found. I use a damp sponge to apply foundation, I use Clinique Stay matte oil free. It's not drying at all. No powder, if I do its very very little.

This primer has a thicker texture, almost mousse like. It doesn't spread as easily as the dewy skin primer. I like the tint but i think i will try another option when i run out.

A Ulta employee recommended this to try to help with giving me a smooth canvas for my makeup and I am in love! So smooth. No more pores showing or patchy makeup. A little goes a long way. Love with powder or liquid days. Overall great primer choice!

I've used several Cover/FX primers in the past and must say they would all earn a handful of stars. This new one, well, I love it! It looks blurry as it comes out of the tube... soft, hazy. It feels blurry as I as spread it over my skin... buttery, smooth. My makeup glides on smoothly and my skin looks flawless. Couldn't be happier.

This is the best primer I've tried. It's pleasantly slippy, scent-free, glides on and absolutely does the job of blurring your lines and pores. It also feels weightless which is important when you're also piling on sunscreen and foundation over moisturizer and serums. I was really surprised at the effect, any blurring product I've tried before this just seemed pointless. I choose this primer over any other in my drawer and treat it as precious material.

the texture of this product is like nothing I've seen, it's puffy! like a fluffy tarte. it spits and blasts chuncks of primer everywhere when you try to get some out. I feel I have to use a lot to get it all over my face, more than my regular cover girl ageless primer (white and purple pump bottle). Also, don't put this cover for primer in eyebrows or hair because it'll clump and look kinda like dandruff. HOWEVER, despite all that, it does leave my face smooth, I wouldn't say it's poreless, it's kinda blurring, but it's an eh product for the price when I know there's better for cheaper.

I have tried several blurring primers, but this one works! It does not ball up, or cause patchy spots when applying my foundation and it doesn't stick to my dry areas. Definitely recommend.

I just found this primer and I don't know how I lived without it. I'm 40 years old with combination skin and some redness and dark spots. It just makes everything so smooth. It really is the perfect primer. I don't use it everyday, but it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I love this product!
