Terrific Ulta birthday gift!!! I have been looking for a good eye liner to replace the old Lancome Kohl pencil that I've loved for many years. This Clinique liner goes on smoothly and stays on all day - even though I cried twice yesterday about ailing furbabies. I am going to see if it comes in a slightly paler shade though, as the ebony is quite dark. If not, I will use the ebony as I do like this pencil.
While it glides on pretty smoothly, you will look like a raccoon within one hour. in a very short time, my eyes were tearing up so I looked in the mirror to see if I had something in my eye. I was horrified to discover that I the eyeliner had smudged all over under my eyes and I didn't even rub my eyes!

I've used Clinique products for years and was looking forward to receiving this. However, when I opened it up it was broke. I was able to stick it back together again but the eyeliner wouldn't come out.

If you love smeary raccoon eyes, this is the liner for you. Glad it was free! Never sets, smears everywhere. Glides on smoothly but that's about the only good thing about it.

Received this item as a free birthday perk. The color is very intense, but it stains my fingers when applying. It is also very hard to remove from my eyelids. Unfortunately I had higher expectations from Clinique.

It painted on smoothly and nicely but I was surprised it didn't last long. I took a plier and opened it to see if maybe it was stuck. But the top of stick was only about 1 1/2 inches long. Bottom part is 3 1/4 inches long. I'm glad it was a free.

I chose this for my birthday reward. Soo glad I did! This eyeliner is creamy and glides on easy. Deposits the right amt. of color for definition, and stays put. Have tried all kinds, from cheap to expensive, and haven't found a pencil that does the trick. (I'm a makeup artist & usually use a gel liner in a pot). Thank you!

Be aware, the package does say it twists up but not down. So don't try to twist it up too much like some other dummy reviewer (can't stand people who don't read). It's a good black, precise eyeliner, blends pretty well and lasts a long time. Definitely worth the free birthday gift!

As I was warned from a previous comment, the liner is indeed small, or at least shorter than other liners. It also doesn't twist back so be sure not to twist the stick too far ahead. Overall I do give points for the fact IT DOES NOT GET JAMMED as you glide across the eye-lid. Smoother formula than other brand names I've tried so far. Weighing pros and cons I now know what to expect so will buy again soon. :)

Happy Bday! not vegan, twists up only, Clinique liners are not vegan, they have carmine a dye from bugs, the won't retract back down, one way only. they do dry down and last all day without flaking or smearing so are long wear. not cruelty free. i give these away. the black is always in their gwp. would be nice to see other colors for a change. can use in waterline.
