Cleansers are too harsh for my sensitive aging skin, as are tissues and irritating cleansing wipes. It is difficult for me to find a product that doesn't strip my skin or cause flaking and dryness. After a bit of research, I decided to try these cloths. They are truly a gamechanger for my daily routine.
This product is easy to use, extremely soft, and the perfect gray color to camouflage the staining from makeup removal. Simply wet the cloth with warm water, and gently buff away your makeup. Amazing results in just a few swipes, with no irritation. In my case, I do not use waterproof mascara; so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of removal in that instance. But my non-waterproof mascara came right off without pulling out delicate lashes. The cloths allow for just the right amount of cleansing and exfoliation without aggravating your skin. After use, I rinse the cloth well and let it air dry. You can reuse the cloth several times before dropping it into the washer. Also- it is best to wash the cloths in the washer before the first use, and to not use fabric softener. Trust me- this material is very soft and gentle on skin- not at all like other microfiber products.
Since using these cloths for makeup removal, I am finding my skin to be much less dry; with no flaky under eye patches. I find my makeup application to be smoother, and my need for moisturizer lessened. Excellent option for us gals with rosacea or sensitive skin. Ditch the irritating cleansing wipes and facial tissue- your skin will thank you.
When I first saw these makeup remover towels and the glowing reviews I thought they sounded pretty awesome. I almost bought a couple of sets for gifts but first decided to buy just one for myself to try out first. Well... I followed the directions and washed them before first use and then gave it a try. For starters I wear very little makeup to begin with and seldom wear mascara. I used my cloth on a day with no mascara and the little makeup I had on. I soaked the cloth in warm water and washed my face multiple times while rinsing and squeezing out in between. I first thought it appeared to work. But to test my results I then washed my face with my Olay Cleansing cloth. Wow... I may as well have used a wash cloth soaked in warm water. All my makeup showed up on my Olay makeup cleanser cloth. I can't even imagine someone trying to remove a lot of makeup plus mascara with these things. As my review headline states.. these cloths are a joke.. an expensive one. I'm glad I didn't buy more. They are soft. I'll give it that much but that's all. Looks like I'll be using these as regular bath washcloths.
Don't waste your money on these... they do not work

I've gotten 2 of them through different sample bags and I'm obsessed. Don't know how they work, but they do. I still need to use oil-based makeup remover for waterproof eye stuff, but these cloths get EVERYTHING else. Never realized how much foundation I was leaving on my skin until I started using these!

These are really good. They're very plush and that has me nervous, but they really never shed. Other brand is wonderful, of course! But these are definitely working just as well, the size is perfect, and they wash really well too! I can't stand others that I've grabbed while on line in other stores. They look like a great value but don't do it. No matter how I wash or dry them, I will have disgusting, long, hair-like fuzz on my face and in my mouth. Not worth the risk at all, but these are wonderful. I tried washing lipstick swatches off my arm in the shower yesterday with soapy warm water and a baby washcloth and it removed so little! I just irritated my arm and the lipstick was all there. I grabbed one of these, wiped down my arm once (with it wet), and most of the lipstick was gone. Another warm swipe or two and my arm was completely clean. I've had them for quite awhile too, whereas the other great brand I know of does kind of break down more quickly than I'd hoped. Some have at least. They get thin, but I do like the 7 day (small size) ones, so I was definitely washing them like crazy. No matter the size, I just have to machine wash any single time I touch one. These were thought out and executed well!

I was concerned these might not work as well as advertised but they are amazing! Took off my full face of makeup with just water. The only thing I have noticed is harder to get off with these is really glittery eyeshadow but that has been the only thing I have needed makeup remover and a cotton pad to take off after using this. So glad I picked these up!

I'm not sure if I'm using this wrong, so I'll just post what I do in case anyone else would do the same and how it doesn't seem to work!
I use micellar water to remove my makeup because I wear waterproof mascara. These cloths won't absorb the micellar water, it just runs off, so it makes it difficult to actually use to remove makeup. When I've used just water, it's not super effective as it also runs off a bit.
Then the weird thing is when I am removing my makeup, there's a weird smell? I've washed these many times so I'm not sure what's causing that, or if that's just how it works (perhaps the makeup and my skin are causing the smell?) Either way I don't really like it haha.
I really would like to use something reusable to reduce my trash so I might try some others, but these are just a bit odd.

These are WONDERFUL! If you always run out of make up wipes or remover, these are great to keep around. Machine washable and easy care options. These are smaller than the well known make up eraser towel but I like that. Very easy to use abs simple instructions. Wipes make up right off and then you can just wash it and get rid of the make up like nothing happened. Plus eco friendly in the long term as long as you take care of them. Overall definitely recommend!

These work great and I have washed them many times and they still look good.

My husband picked these up for me as a gift. I did not think they would work without using a cleanser. But I was wrong.. They take off my mascara easily also they're super soft and then to check to see if my makeup was really off I used a cotton ball with some witch Hazel and sure enough my face was clean. No cleansers needed no cleansers needed. Not sure how it works, but it does.

Works great in removing the makeup

I really like these, they are very soft and hold up well ever after washing. Definitely recommend.

This does not remove my makeup, essentially it just is dragging a wet cloth across my face. I had to use a makeup remover solution in the towel to get my makeup off. Went into the trash.
Loves2shop from Louisiana
These are soft and nice to wipe cleansing balm off face, but they leave grey fuzz on everything when I wash them. They shed even when washed in a delicate bag.

Definitely do NOT recommend this. All it does is wet your face and then not even dry it becuase it's not an absorbant cloth. You're better off using a real wash cloth.

I absolutely love these! They get all my makeup off without any scrubbing. I bought more the other day while I was in the sore. The only thing is I wish they were a little bigger, otherwise they work great!

I love these towels, I pick these up every time they go on sale because I enjoy how well the remove my makeup.

I don't use this to remove makeup. I use this to clean my glasses and it is far superior than buying actual lens cleaning cloths. Regular lens cloths start leaving smear residue even after washing it.
I've used this and it leaves no smearing on my glasses

I really like these. I've used them for about a year but the only thing is that it hurts when I use them on my eyes. I've used others that don't hurt my eyes so idk why these do.

Amazing product. Removes makeup like a charm with just water. I am shocked at how good these are. I think I will go back and buy more!!!

I have rebought these after 4 years of wear and tare and am tempted to hoard more. They're perfect for removing everyday make up. Follow the instructions that come with for care. Not great at all at removing waterproof mascara, but that's because it's mostly water and the cloth, so that makes since to me.
kitkat from Surprise AZ
The product is fabulous, the staff that work there, not so much.

I know most people use the makeup eraser towels BUT this is even better. I have a set of 7 from makeup eraser and I can't ever get the eyeliner or mascara out of them no matter how many times I wash them. These with just rinsing them off with warm and hot water it leaves no trace of any make up on these towels! Beauty on a budget? These are it. Don't look any further! Going back to Ulta and getting another set.

works better than cotton rounds !

Bought my 1st pair on a whim. Have since ordered more for myself & given them as gifts. Recipients were as pleased as I! Eliminate the need for micelluar water, cotton pads. I wash them in cold water, delicate cycle, extra low or hang to dry, come out like brand new. Best impulse buy in a long time. Highly recommend! *****

These makeup towels are legit! If you are looking for an eco-friendly way to take off your makeup these are amazing! They feel great and work wonders with a little cleanser on them. Definitely buy!
