Most Helpful Positive Review Miracle Balm! I have been using Beauty Flash Balm for twenty years. It is, by far, the most consistent and best pick-me-up cream on the market, and I have tried many over the past two decades. My skin was always oily, up until five years ago, when it became combination. Now, it's on the dry side. And yet, Beauty Flash Balm has done its job through all my complexion/aging changes. When I still had breakouts, this balm seemed to calm and heal them. You can use it before putting on makeup; you can use it once all your makeup has been applied, too, by putting a pea-sized amount in your palm and pressing it onto your face and neck. I use it twice a month as a facial mask--I apply a generous amount to face and neck, sit back and relax for twenty minutes, then rinse off with tepid water. It acts like a mini-facelift! If I have an event to attend, I'll use it first, before getting ready. Trust me: this is one cream you should purchase!
Most Helpful Critical Review Don't get the hype Applied for the first time thismorning as a make up primer instead of my usual smashbox photofinish. My skin wasn't as smooth and my powder didn't stay on as long. Is everyone else using this with a liquid foundation? I didn't see a difference in my skin at all either.
I have semi-oily skin, larger pores, and olive undertones. Didn't do much.

This balm is a great primer for makeup or to use by itself on a non-makeup day. I have oily/combo skin and product does not leave me with a shiny face or clog pores.

It's not only for Asian skin. I'm African American dark skin. I love this product it gives me a even tone I also have dry skin and it's very moisturizing.

I've been using a variety of Clarins products for more than 30 years, but Beauty Flash Balm is my all-time favorite. I truly hope they never stop making it; I'd hate to live without it. I'm not a naturally beautiful woman, so I don't expect it to work miracles. But I can smooth it on after cleansing and toning and look much better than I do without it. When I have to run a quick errand and don't want to put on makeup, I just use the Beauty Flash Balm, light lipstick and big sunglasses and I'm good to go. It makes my skin look smoother and less "blotchy."

I have been using this product everyday for over 10 years. It was suggested that I use it as a base for my foundation. It brightens my skin and creates a youthful look when applied before or mixed with my foundation. On days when I am really tired I will use it as a mask. Additionally, I will put a small amount on my skin midday just to brighten up my tired face. I definitely notice a difference in my skin when I don't use it.

I trained as an aesthetician 30 years ago, and have been using Beauty Flash Balm since that time as my under makeup primer. I use it instead of moisturizer, and it creates a lovely base for my foundation or even tinted moisturizer if I want an extra layer between my skin and the elements. The result is a lovely glow as my makeup goes on so smoothly and it lasts all day, or night. I have tried many other trendy primers, or less pricy ones but none compare to the beautiful finish that comes with BFB as my primer.

This is hands down the best facial moisturizer I've tried. You'll see and feel results shockingly just after your first use. I did. I use this at night on top of a salicylic exfoliating solution and my skin feels amazing and soft and looks very much refreshed until the morning. Absolutely amazing.

I was skeptical because I usually don't see any noticeable results with most products however, I was pleasantly surprised by how good this product is. I use just a little over my moisturizer and under my makeup, and makeup does seem to go on much smoother. Even my mother commented on how good my skin looked with this on. The only thing I do not like is the smell (it smells like old lady) but that dissipates quickly!

I have been using Beauty Flash Balm since it was introduced. I have given it to friends as gifts, and always have one in my makeup drawer. But it has nearly doubled in price in the past couple of years. I think Clarins is taking advantage... Less cost these days, because the department store middlemen are mostly gone, but higher prices. Ugh.
