Most Helpful Positive Review Purchased this a few... Purchased this a few days ago, and it's great! For those that haven't tried it here's my take....it is very matte, so if you have oily skin you will love it. If you have combination skin like I do....you will still love it, just wear a little moisturizer underneath, I also wear a matte primer and it works well for me. It is full coverage but if you're like me and have some problem areas (hyperpigmentation) I just add a little more foundation to those areas. It's very lightweight for a full coverage which is a wonderful plus. Now because it has spf....it will oxidize, so before I purchased I tried on the shade that was a perfect match and walk around the store for about 15-20min to give it time to settle and oxidize. It definitely oxidized. So...I went a shade lighter in my tone. Ex: my shade was 25, but I skipped 24 because it's a cool tone, so the next warm tone was 23...and after it oxidized it was perfect. Make sure you get the correct under tone make a world of difference.
Most Helpful Critical Review Miss the Bareskin foundation :( This foundation is not even close to the bareskin foundation that was discontinued :( The previous foundation was light and smooth. This foundation makes my skin look dried out and kind of "pills" on my face. That's after I've put moisturizer on. I wish they would bring the other foundation back !!!

The foundation doesn't even cover my red spots. Says full coverage but it definitely is not. Also, almost all the colors pull yellow and the one with the "pink" undertone are either way too pink in color, or not enough. It's really sad that it doesn't work for me because has good staying power but doesn't work for my red, dry, skin.

I really really wanted to like this product. Not only is it clean and HAS SPF (which is hella awesome), it's also pretty affordable for a higher end product. I was so excited to try it, especially cause of all the good reviews.
Background: I have combination skin. My T-zone is oily and cheeks are dry. I also have acne prone skin, with all types of cystic acne and scars you can think of. I have never had dry patches on my T zone before, this product proved me wrooong!
I applied it on first time, and noticed basically dry patches over my whole face. Mind you I have pretty complicated skin so I am used to more "dewy" foundation getting extra oily on my forehead and matte foundation clumping and sticking to my dry spots on my cheeks but I have never had dry patches ON MY OILY FOREHEAD. I half expected things to get complicated on my cheeks but oh boy my whole face looked dryer than some of my hinge match conversations! I tried everything for the next 2 weeks on top of my usual skincare routine. I tried different hydrating primers, I tried different sticky primers, I tried to put on more moisturizer, I tried almost everything I can think of. It did help with the forehead for some products but the foundation seeps and showed up patchy on my cheeks and acne no. matter. what. It made my skin look dry in places that have been oily my whole life, like what?? This product might or might not work for y'all, but if you guys have even a little dryer skin or textured skin, this will amplify it 100x. I have never tried bare minerals before but I have to say, this was horrible first impression.
I'm so glad some of the other reviews also had the same experience as me because I thought I was crazy for a second. It definitely gave me a brand new experience I never wish to go through again. I don't recommend it to anyone even with oily skin because even my oily T-zone didn't stand a chance. It made everything look crusty ...
If you guys didn't buy this at Ulta (with their 60 day return policy) or you can't return this item, I recommend you to mix it in with a dewy hydrating foundation. When I mixed it with a more sheer hydrating foundation it wasn't as dry (still patchy asf on my acne but not as bad) and gave it a pretty decent low-medium to medium coverage. Back to my journey for finding the right foundation ðŸ˜

This foundation is great for oily skin and combination skin. I spent 45 minutes in the store trying the different shades, until I found the perfect one. It literally melts into my skin, and covers every pore.

I like how this makeup feels and the coverage is not too bad although the redness in my cheeks still comes through a little more than I would like. I think I need to experiment with it to get the right coverage but overall it's been good.

If you have acne prone skin stay clear. This will break you out in bad cystic pimples. I thought at first it wasn't the foundation but every time I use this horrible cystic breakouts. Algin is an ingredient that isn't good for acne prone skin. Please be aware

Love! I've tried many foundations and this is my favorite by far! It provides full coverage, but feels lighter on my skin. Matches my skin tone perfectly, lots of color options. TIP: Blot with a makeup sponge after application to get a natural non-streaky finish. Note: Dry spots will require primer or it will make the dryness look worse. Primer solves that problem easily though.

I use this product with a beauty blender and it gives me full coverage. I work 9-15 hr days and last all day no creasing. Feels like nothing is on my face. I absolutely recommend this foundation.

I had a severe allergic skin reaction to two different medications that left tons of underlining health issues for me. I always had great complexion my whole life, clear and no redness. I wore foundation for fun and mostly light powder for everyday. Feeling self conscious of my skin for the first time in my life at 27, I'm 30 now; I had tried about everything. Got to the point where I had to change everything I used, skincare, haircare etc. Anything I used in the past started to burn, itch, make the blister reaction come back angrily. After a suggestion my dermatologist made to try bare minerals I haven't looked back this is the only thing I use for foundation now. My skin actually stays pretty clear now partially thanks to this product and the way it blurs any scarring or imperfections I have now is amazing. I cried the first week I used this and everybody tells me that my skin looks so much better and healthy! I still have the reaction come back but this doesn't aggravate like other foundations do. After a year of use this will be staple for years to come!!

I've tried it all!! I started using foundation at around 15 years old (I'm almost 21 now), and nothing has worked so well for my acne prone and sensitive skin as well as this foundation.
-it has beautiful buildable coverage
- it doesn't crease around my eyes or mouth like other foundations tend to do.
- it's not comedogenic!!!! (Everything else breaks me out and this does not!)
-it just looks flawless on the skin
AND it has my perfect shade. So many shade options! Love this foundation.

It's a overall good foundation. It's full coverage, and it doesn't streak. But I believe it oxidizes and turns darker. Just go with a shade lighter cause it will turn darker. Hope they fix that but it is a good foundation
