Most Helpful Positive Review Do a patch test if not regularly using clay masks. I did a patch test on my hand and forehead a couple hours ago because it has been so long since I've used a clay mask. After only 30 seconds, I removed the patches and was left with a red spot with a darker red outline showing exactly where I placed the mask. I do not have sensitive skin, let alone "extremely sensitive skin or rosacea", as is stated in the description for those who should and should not use this mask. I have used many different products with different ingredients since my teen years (34 now) and have only found to be allergic to witch hazel. I didn't see that in the ingredient list or anything that stood out to me. Years ago I tried different clay masks and I vaguely remember having some kind of issue from some. Perhaps my skin just doesn't like clay masks. Not every single product works for every single person. I would say, this product is probably great and has a nice texture, the jar is much more convenient than a tube, etc, and the smell isn't unbearable, but if you haven't used a clay mask in a while or ever, definitely do a patch test. It's been a couple hours and I've still got discoloration where I had the patch tests. A slight warm feeling as well. I've had contact dermatitis and an allergic reaction before but not since I tried witch hazel.
Most Helpful Critical Review It's okay. The vendor at the store hyped this product up so much and said it was so good for minimizing my pores which is what I am focused on. It's an ok mask. It's very smooth and applies nicely on my face. I just don't understand the whole leaving it on for 2-3 minutes I feel like I'm wasting product like I don't get to enjoy the mask
when I remove wash it off my face does feel smooth but not much of a difference. Maybe my skin doesn't care for this product.

I have moderately sensitive skin and left this on for about ten minutes. Feels really nice and clean on your skin, definitely not drying/tightening.

just have to say.. 4

This mask is okay.. I didn't notice any super amazing results but had no negative things to say either but I had to write this review just to contest a one star review.. it does not say to leave on for up to 20 minutes. It says to leave on for 1-2 minutes. Two. Not twenty. You let clay and actives sit on your face for WAY too long. That is NOT the products fault. Learn to read.
It actually works 4

I am mask obsessed. I've tried hundreds of masks. I got this as a sample, and I'm glad that I did. I left it on for more like 7 minutes, so when I rinsed it off it had a very slight burn (Sensitive skin here). But next time I'll just leave it on for a few minutes as directed. If I were you, I'd give this a try.
Noticed a Difference in my Pores! 5

This is a very nice and gentle face mask. I received a sample and have really enjoyed using it. I plan on getting the full size when I run out. Best of all, I've noticed quite the difference with the pores on my nose!
Love this product 5

Great to use before big night out. Gives skin a nice matte finish so serum, moisturizer and cosmetics go on smoothly. Allows highlighter to add shine instead of skin oils! I use the Juice Beauty line for older skin and love all their products!
Definitely worth the money 5

I've been having a lot of problems with my skin going from dried it oily within the last few months. It's gotten to the point where I have hat so much acne due to oily skin. I went to Ulta asking for advice and they recommended me this product, which has worked so well in many ways. Not only has it reduce the oil in my skin but it's minimize the pores and makes my face look more refreshed.

Directions on package say "leave on for up to 20 minutes" so that's what I did. When I rinsed it off my face was very red and burned wherever I had the mask. Went away after a few minutes but still would not recommend. Luckily I received a free sample and didn't spend any $. Also I do consider my skin relatively sensitive and I've never had this happen with any other masks before, idk.
Safe for sensitive acne prone skin! 4

The mask in it is a non drying so no tightening and is a goopy paste no water mixing and only keep on a few minutes and skin is soooooo soft and glowing after!!!
Best Product Ever! 5

This product was recommended to me by an Ulta representative to help with very small blackheads on my nose. Didn't even know I had them until my daughter leaned in for a close look and screamed "Ewww!" I used this product one time and they were gone. I am so incredibly happy!
LOVE IT 5

I'm an ulta employee and I sell this all of the time. No abrasive scrubbing is required and it doesn't burn my face at all (and I have extremely sensitive skin). A must-get product!!
Meh... not bad, not good. 3

Just didn't do anything. And there is not absorption or drying effect. It just sits there and comes off and I noticed no difference. Would not buy again. But it didn't do anything bad to my
skin. MAYBE my skin felt better hydrated but definitely didn't do what I was hoping for.
Hydrating! 5
Molly from Oakland, CA
I love that this mask doesn't dry and crack like a traditional charcoal mask. It stays moist on the skin and is super hydrating instead of drying. My skin feels so smooth when I rinse it off.
Great Mask 5

I am very pleased with this mask, it really deep cleaned my pores without stripping my skin.
Smells like paint thinner... 3

I'm not sure why, but this smells awful! Like paint thinner or some abrasive chemical... maybe I got a bad batch? Either way... more than likely will not repurchase.
Great for fighting MASKNE! 5

I have very sensitive skin which makes me cautious when trying and using new masks. The bamboo charcoal was great for clarifying. I could feel a tingling sensation but was able to keep on my face for 5 minutes. I love that the clay never felt hard or stiff. After rinsing, my skin felt even more hydrated! Have since used as a blemish spot treatment mask on my teenager. Works great!
Great mask 5

I have been a devout mudmasky user for over a year but decided to grab this because I've had positive experiences with Juice Beauty before. This mask is very nice, my skin was glowy (not shiny but not super matte) for 2 days afterwards. I have breakout prone skin and this mask didn't irritate or make me breakout. I've used this twice but I am already looking forward to using it again in a few days. Great ingredients too and feels and looks good, think I found a new favorite
I was glowing afterwards! 4
Mrs. Walker from Georgia
The first time I used it I didn't notice a difference but after the second use my skin was literally glowing after removal. The instructions say to leave it on for two minutes but I left it on for ten.
It feels very smooth and hydrating. It doesn't "tighten" your skin like other masks do. I definitely recommend.
