Warning:use with caution very addictive!I hesitated between Artisan and Artisan Black and ended up buying Artisan for my hubby after 3 trips to the store. What i like about it is the notes in it keep you guessing about what's coming up next. You just can't stop smelling it... In my opinion, it's very sensual and mysterious and only fits a sophisticated man age 40 and over. Would make a young guy smell like little boy using dad's cologne, so i wouldn't recommend it for the younger crowd. I simply love it!Original is better!If you like citrus/herbal fragrances, this is for you. However, with my husband being a huge fan of the Original and the Vintage John Varvatos fragrances, he did not like this new Artisan fragrance at all . It is somewhat irritating with an unidentifiable ingredient.

I really didn't enjoy this one at all. Definitely not the type of fragrance I would ever wear or like on someone else for that matter. I found it to be very pungent and hard to pick out particular notes in.

I have a picky nose for smell when I first smelt Artisan Eau de Toilette, I had to get it for my Husband.

This is the perfect scent for someone who doesn't want to fuss around with different scents for different occasions. A single small spray goes a long way. It is light enough to be worn in the office without offending anyone, but it is also interesting enough to be worn on a date night. I always get compliments when wearing this scent. Because so little is needed, I'm sure the bottle is going to last for quite a while. I also like that the bottle is wrapped in rattan, it makes it easy to hold if your hand are wet after a shower. ***TIP: Do not use too much or it will be over powering.
