How to Use

Apply shadow using fingers, brush or sponge-tip applicator. Use a brush to press colour onto lids. Use a brush to blend colour from the creases to brow arches.

This pallet has a gorgeous selection of neutral shades, perfect for everyday looks, and easy to blend. I have light and a golden peachy undertone, so the transition shades are perfect for me. If you have a deeper skin tone I suggest using a shadow base to make the colors pop. I do not have to use the Fix-Plus to enhance the shadows, I just apply "Gough Lighty" with my ring finger. I was on the fence with the shade "outre" because the shade looks yellow/orange in the pan, but translates as a neutral medium brown. The colors layer beautifully and complement each other.Most Helpful Critical ReviewFormula is a little disappointingI was excited to receive the palette because these colors are right up my alley. However, the formula leaves much to be desired. Some of the matte shades do not blend out nicely - they just end up turning grey. This include the chocolate brown shade which strangely turned grey as I blended it in my crease. I've tried this shades in numerous ways - with and without a primer, with and without a powder to set the primer, but nothing works. I have hooded eyes, so I get creasing, but these shadows left an odd reverse-creasing where I did not have ANY shadow where I normally crease. Instead, I just had a naked patch of skin. I can't make these work for me no matter what I try and when using primers and powders that work with all other shadows I own. I love creating smokey looks with the plum shades in this, and pairing it with Twig lipstick.
